"Wooooooah there, Nelly. You can't be gettin' crazzy on me. I need you, and Sapphire would never forgive me," he says, putting his hoof in front of his face. He doesn't get a reaction, so he smacks Nightfall, silently saying sorry to Sapphire. "Hey, wake up. We need to send her our report together..."

He doesn't get a reaction, so he smacks Nightfall, silently saying sorry to Sapphire. "Hey, wake up. We need to send her our report together..."

 

Nightfall shook his head. His vision was going weird.

"I'm not going to last long, Den... So let's get this done fast."

Nightfall got up, and spun around quickly. When he had found some paper, he took out a pen, then looked at Den.

"Right... what are we going to say... and to whom are we sending this?"

Lapis rolled his eyes. He didn't expect this. "Okay, nameless voice, I'd like to examine all files on record. And, like to know a full account of all matter having to do with the current status of all of the previous owner's experiments and inventions." he said briskly. The sooner he got this done the less time he'd be in one spot. Lapis was getting antsy and paranoid. He didn't like having to rely on this machine.

Wind flew to the top of the Equestrian State Building. He stuck the note to the body and glanced at his watch. 5:30, the police have half an hour. He thought throwing the body over the edge. The ponies on the streets below screamed and a few called the police. Perfect. Perfect indeed. Your back. I never left. Wind smirked and flew towards the Central Bank of ManeHattan.

"We're going to tell her that most of our district of police force have resigned. Then we're going to request royal guard help. Then we're going to give a report of a the city, and THEN we're going to tell her everything that happend to us. Except your realationship with my other half. And it's to Celestia."

"One moment please." The machine said, "Berki project uploaded... Gatasubal blueprints uploaded... Abomination project uploaded... error, data corruption detected in project abomination. Loading character profiles. Jackson Snow uploaded... Captain Nightfall uploaded... Lapis Lazuli uploaded... Imajin Momotaru uploaded... warning, all other files contain data corruptions. Which file would you like to view sir or ma'am?"

Den heard the phones ringing and left Nigthfall to write the letter. He answered one, and, once he got the pony to calm down, extracted the following information: A pony had killed a bunch of ponies and left a note. He also heard something about a 2 million bit ransom. He paled and grabbed his hat, putting it on tight. Then he grabbed a bullhorn and flew out the front doors. Never get a break in this town. Always something happening... He eventually made it to the Bank of Equestria. "Mr. Whichever bad guy it is now. I am very sick and tired of having to deal with these nefarious schemes. Nopony has the ammount of money you want, not even the bank. You're prety much looking at the entirety of this district's police. Let's face it; if you'd picked a different city, you probably would've actually gotten a kick out of it. Now lets come down from there without blowing up the monument, and if you really want to, I'll fight you. Otherwise, I have a shiny pair of cuffs and a recently scrubbed cell. Your choice."

Lapis blinked at the sound of his own name. Also, he thought the name Jackson seemed familiar. "Okay, I'd like to view the following files: Gatasubal blueprints, Captain Nightfall, Lapis Lazuli, and Jackson Snow." he ordered. He had said his name simply out of curiosity. What could the doctor have on him anyway? He needed to know.

What about this choice ? Wind said, pulling a small trigger out of his bag. Oh This Is So Much Fun. 'Ahem'. I never wanted the money, I wanted to mess around with the minds of the ponies who live in this dump they call a city. He Smirked at Den and said. So you wont be taking me to prison you will be falling into a BANK. He pushed a red button. You have one minute and thirty seconds to get everypony out of the bank, Have fun. He grinned, Then jumped into the sky and sent a blast of air behind him which increased his speed.

"You're a jerk!" he called, then shivered into Sapphire. She strode into the bank and got on the intercom, "Alright everypony, you've got 1 minute and 30 seconds to exit the building or you will be blown up. Please exit in an orderly fashion at the nearest exit." Then she trotted out and skipped back to the police station with a crowd of unorganized bankers swarming out of the bank as fast as they could. She answered another phone, but it seemed to just be some old pony who lost her cat. She told her to check under the bed, and, sure enough, a positive exclimation was heard and she hung up, checking on Nightfall.

"Project Gatasubal blueprints printing."The computer said as a sheet of paper was taken from the printing machine tray. "Relaying audio recordings for: Captain Nightfall."

 

The voice of the computer changed to Ichigaki's own voice. "Captain Nightfall. He is a very young and tallented member of this cities proud police force. He seems to be able to clone himself by offering some sort of tribute. What interests me is the fact that he is an alicorn. The ideal subject for project beruki."

 

The machine spoke in its normal voice, "Relaying audio recording for: Lapis Lazuli"

 

A picture of lapis showed on the screen. "And I thought I was this town's only scientist! He seems to have created a device that can convert. His own body energy, found in all ponies, into destructive, magical energy that only unicorns can wield naturally. After I implant him with the beruki, I will gut this device to see how it works."

 

"Relaying audio recording for: Jackson Snow"

 

A familiar picture of Jack showed on the screen. "So far, he's the only pony who's ever noticed my spy drone and destroyed it. I do know that he is a former member of the Royal Guard who served under Captain Trench. A stallion who he respected well. He can manipulate his blood into magical energy. He has remarkable abities, but will be nearly impossible to capture or trick."

 

The machine spoke again, "I have decripted one more character profile: Butajiri. Would you like for me to open it?"

Lets pretend its been one minute. Windward thought, Watching the bank from a cloud above. What do you think Airlight ? I think, its a very good idea. Im happy you said that. Wind pulled another switch from his bag and pushed the button, causing the bank explode, sending the ponies on the street flying. Bits flew everywhere and ponies screamed. Hahaha. Wind laughed, Then flew threw the smoke coming up from the bank towards the Asylum just outside of town. Edited September 8, 2012 by Flame Dancer

Having satisfied her curiosity on her bos and potential boyfriend, she went back to answering calls. She got one for the Asylum and sighed. She grabbed the bullhorn again and flew out to the asylum, of which she flew to the room. "Really, sir, can we just take a break and have some brownies? Brownies can make anypony smile!" she says into the blowhorn.

 

Den's brother walked by the park to work. He saw two bodies, on totally mutilated, and a foal. He gasped as he realized he was still alive, and took him back to the appartment to patch him up. Poor kid, what happend to you? You look like you went through tarturus.

Oh its you again, While your here why don't we have some fun. Wind smiled at the pony and jumped up pushing a ceiling tile out of the way and flying above the hall turning at the first corner he passed by. making sure the pony couldn't find him. I know this asylum like the back of my hoof, _{^{you cant find me.}} He called out to the pony his voice slowly fading away down the hall.

Lapis waved a dismissive hoof. "Sure, go ahead." he said deep in thought. The doctor's file on him was inaccurate. Lapis wasn't a scientist. His 'device' was a mystical artifact. He began to doubt if he could trust the other files on record. It wasn't much to go on, but at least it was something. He took the blueprints and placed them inside his trench coat. He would look those over afterwards. For now, he had another assignment for himself. He was going to track down Jackson Snow. If this scientist couldn't get him down right, there might be a chance he was wrong about Jack too. Time would tell. Now all he had to do was wait for the file of this new pony to register. Then he'd put in the final password and leave this all behind him.

"Relaying audio recording for: Butajiri."

 

The doctor's voice spoke, "Butajiri... no last name that I can find. Typical pegasus. Nothing truly extraordinary about him. The thing that interests me is his sword: The Banshee Shriek. I have seen him use it once, and it was extraordinary. I must obtain it."

[Nightfall 3,950]

"She's a bit more than half now... she's, like... three-quarters," he muttered.

Nightfall had begun writing some sort of letter, starting, of course, with, "Dear Princess Celestia," and continuing on to tell her most of the Manehatten Police Force had resigned; that the crime rates were skyrocketing, that the city was being destroyed; and that, during his fight against crime, he, Nightfall, a fellow alicorn, and a police recruit named Den had nearly died several times each. He ended with a request for spare Royal Guard officers to try to end this crime spree.

When he was done, he looked around him, but no one was there. Den had gone and tried to solve a crime, turned into Sapphire, come back to check-up on him (he hadn't noticed), and gone out to solve another crime.

"I wish she hadn't left... I feel so much more... safe and comfortable when she's around..."

He sent the letter and sat down with his back against his desk.

"What a beautiful town." Butajiri said to himself. Strapped to his back above his wings was the precious sword that would make him famous. "Any publicity is good publicity, and this city is ripe with it!"

 

"Why are you talking to yourself?" A random, old mare asked.

 

"Because, shut up."

She sighed, "I am not the same person from before. Den complains to much," she calls, hoping down the hall. "Hide and seek is fun and all, but I like brownies better," she adds, nibbling on one. Why doesn't anypony just sit down and eat my brownies? That's one thing I like about Nightfall, he'll eat a browny. She passes cells where people screem and shout at her. She looks a little sad and throws brownies to them, but keeps trying to follow Windward.

Nightfall dead inside. He got up, and decided to go to try to end some crime. He didn't know where Sapphire was, but he hoped she was ok. He put on his tattered uniform, and got up from the floor, still severely bruised and hurt. He thought back... never had an alicorn been so defeated. They had always won with barely a scratch. So why was he like this? What was different about him? He shook these thoughts from his head, grabbed his saddlebag and hat, and walked out of the police station. He didn't know where to start looking for crime, but he knew that if he could wait a bit, it would come to him eventually.

A small crowd of young mares and fillies had crowded around Butajiri. He always loved having a few fangirls to stroke his ego. All he had to do was give them a charming wink, or a smile, and the mares went head over hoofs for his perfect blue hair. Out of the corner of his glassy, blue eyes, he saw a very troubled Nightfall. An alicorn. Fame.

 

He pointed to Nightfall over the heads of his admirers and said calmly, "You there, with the inferior face. Come here for a moment."

 

(Dont worry, Nightfall. He's not going to almost kill you again... I think.)

Nightfall went without thinking twice. However, when he saw the pegasus, he froze. The pegasus didn't look like he wanted to show Nightfall something good.

He almost growled the last sentence.

"How dare you be rude to my Butajiri!" One of the fangirls shouted.

 

Butajiri picked up his sword and placed it on the ground. "No weapons." He said, "I will defeat you without using weapons." He stood tall and placed one hoof to his heart. "You are destiny's gift to me! It seems fate has been good to me once again! Defeating an alicorn unarmed is just the boost of fame that I need to truly become a legend! A very handsome legend!" He spread his wings in eagerness. "I can see it now! I will be showered in money and mares, all because the ponies in this country will worship me for beating you. An alicorn, my claim to fame!"

Butajiri picked up his sword and placed it on the ground. "No weapons." He said, "I will defeat you without using weapons." He stood tall and placed one hoof to his heart. "You are destiny's gift to me! It seems fate has been good to me once again! Defeating an alicorn unarmed is just the boost of fame that I need to truly become a legend! A very handsome legend!" "An alicorn who has no legacy and isn't famous..." Nightfall growled.

He started walking away. Nightfall didn't think this was too important. He was able to walk off without limping too much. He then stopped. What if this pony was someone to fight. He had stopped just before a ring that had formed around the two. He turned and faced this... Butajiri.

"Challenge accepted."

The fangirls were outside of the ring, sad to be so far away from their love, but relkeved to not be in danger.

 

Butajiri perked with excitement. "Perfect! I cannot wait for my fame! I will allow you to make the first move. Don't hold back now. I cant become famous if this fight is too short."
