Well you two have done an interesting job getting into character, though I will ask don't go too overboard when they actually come up in the roleplay. Especially The Artist as he was really getting a bit out of control... yet at the same time your coming up with ideas, which I am glad. My main concern is that if those playing The Gifted get too out of hand the players will begin to complain, feeling that they have no control over the situation or a way to eventually overcome The Gifted.

Also now there are five gifted, not sure if either of you saw it but I was going to toss out The Singer and add singing to the music that will be made by the brother/sister twins The Composer and The Musician. The reason for this was because some felt six additional antagonists was too many.

 

Marathon's character is now approved, I will just need to add the character to the list.

 

I will also go over my moderators' starting posts to see if they will work for getting this going.

Can you tell me what his physical description is like? Or his backstory? Or his cutie mark? They're usually where names stem from.

Most of that will be in his bio. I can say what he looks like though. Tall, white coat. A bit skinny i suppose. Long deep black slick mane. That looks like its been greased back. Like think of a Greasers hairstyle from the 50s except longer and on a pony. Bright Red eyes. Cutie mark is one of those painting pallet things. Backstory i'm still coming up with. Takes a while to come up with one for a Pony who has lived some 500+ years.

 

Besides i just want his name having somethin' to do with Art.

Funny cuz the first name i was thinking of was Canvas as well. I will think about it. Though i didn't think of Ink. I might use Ink. Hes probably gonna go through i couple Name changes. Eternity had 3 other names heheheh. At least i don't have to have a definite name once the RP starts since no one, not even him, is gonna remember his name.

You can think of it as the paintings being doorways into other dimensions completely control by the Artist. Or maybe they are doorways into his mind. And remember, like i said they are doorways, meaning things can go in... and things can come out heheheh.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it may be the cause of the Artists insanity, being repeatedly exposed to the dimensional plane. It's as if the paintings open a direct link to the laughing mare herself. I need to stop speculating. I still can't wait to see what role he'll play.

• Shade (As in shades of colors)
• Pierre (I have no idea why...)
• Morsus (A Latin* word for "paint")
• Artifex (The Latin* word for "artist")
• Animus (A Latin* word for "spiral")
• Nex (A Latin* word for "death")
• Martin (Again, not sure why...)
• Atrox (A Latin* word for "horrific")

Finally came up with a pretty good name for The Artist. "Avorio Tela". Its Italian for Ivory Canvas. Cool thing is it sounds like a real name haha. I had many other names in mind but i think this one seemed the coolest.

Sounds good to me and it works with the character. I would have gone with Blank Canvas myself but yeah, that's probably even better, especially since the Italian name fits in with the art theme and makes him sound more mysterious.
