First, you both don't need to respond to each other constantly. Eventually insults get thrown around and bad things happen. Be mature. If You think a fight is gonna ensure just walk away and leave be.

 

Scholar its alright to comment on what other say but be careful WHAT you say. No offense to Spell but she can be stubborn at times. And so can you. And you also don't need to keep correcting and such. That will only make the other person angry. Do it subtly or somethin'. But respectful of the others opinions.

As for illusions, I think they can work and be useful in battle unless it's used in the night. Many historical battle ended up with victory on the side which use mirrors.

 

First, they flipped their mirror-like shields like this.

Then their enemies fell like this.

According to this historical record and my logic, it will work since the projector also uses mirrors and ponies are similar to horses.

My decision on the illusion projector:

First off these are enchanted mirrors and if one knows anything about how magic mirrors are used in myths, legends, folklore, and fiction is that they wont be used like normal mirrors and often times even give off their own light... just wanted to put that out there.

 

 

From what is specifically stated the illusion projectors are essentially amplifiers, House Whitegold uses them to amplify what their illusionist can do the biggest being that their illusions can effect more parts of the battlefield anywhere on the battlefield... though it does say it can create illusions as well.

lso I will be treating illusions like how they work in D&D, meaning that it is possible for an illusion to seem real to all the senses (a.k.a. they can hurt you) and if I must I will players make a roll so that they can't just say, "Oh, it's an illusion... ha, it doesn't work on my character." Remember House Whitegold are know for their use of illusions and the unicorns that use it are very skilled... these are not mere parlor tricks.

Okay. Just, please Gray, remember - one this is image. The other thing is sound. I don't think any kind of enchanted mirror can reflect sound and solid mater. Wind, the trembling earth. Interaction with surroundings. Even 9th level illusion Spell in DnD can barely put that kind of show on and it has a save check.

 

And Gray, remember what there is tiers to illusions, some have no sound, some are just standing, some are moving in one pattern, only some and it's a very powerful magic can do anything, really. Like patrol. If you see something skimpy, just look if it stomps any leaves or dirt, if it leaves hoof trails if it makes any impact to the real world and if it reacts, most and foremost. Since, illusion is one thing - living pony is another.

Okay. I just expect it wont be always the highest level illusionist every time anyone gonna meat them. 0 chance probability is a good trope, but when the one guy which is a badass goes by "luck" 100% times against you, it's kind of boring.

 

What i mean is, if you have a musket which stated to have a chance to misfire, it will misfire every single time, once every blue moon when you decide to use it, or every time when it's important. Every. Single. Time. x3

 

And actually, i have a rather important question to ask. Should we use dices? I know a wonderful dice rolling site where you can't fudge your dice and show it to anyone, on top of every other dice roll you made. I mean, if you spoke of using dices for anything. It even has fancy image insertion BBCode.

Dices? Die? (Always forget thats the plural) for the probability of something to happen? I don't think we need to. I think people are smart enough to know when they are going to misfire or not, as an example of course. As for now i don't think we need to to but if something comes up in the future we can i suppose.
