Brony music that isn't "electronica"?

So I'm searching for some brony music to fill out my iPod playlist. I have found some, but when I search youtube I mostly find remixes, dubstep and stuff like that. Some of those songs are good, but many of them aren't my cup of tea... I mostly prefer other styles of music. I found Mandopony which has a lot of great music. So are there any more musicians that makes music in the same kind of style like he does?

I'll list my favorites.

MandoPony (does a variety of genres and has an epic singing voice)

Accousticbrony (mostly instrumentals but still awesome)

IBringDaLULZ and MictheMicrophone (rap/hip hop)

Forest Rain (Rock but he has some really beautiful songs too)

Eurobeat brony (Eurobeat is kind of like techno but I think it's more dance)

The living Tombstone also has a few songs that aren't techno (Good ol' days and Lost on the moon are 2 of my favorites)

Don't you mean dance music? sorry but I hate it when people misusing the word Techno. Techno isn't a term that means anything dance music. It's just one style, like Punk is one style of Rock but not all Rock song's are the style of Punk

Sorry. I have never heard the term "dance music" before. I tried to explain it so people would understand, and apparently they did. I'm not an expert in what music goes into what genre and all that.

Don't you mean dance music?

Or, even better, electronica. :P

But yeah, electronica is probably what you mean by "techno". Techno isn't a thing, just like emo and screamo music. I absolutely HATE it when people use generic terms like that.

Aiight, well, I'd recommend MandoPony if you're looking for some good rock music. He's one of the only brony musicians I legitimately like. Living Tombstone's okay, but he's not a good singer and a lot of his songs sound similar, and WoodenToaster is unique, but he does too much dubstep...

So yeah, MandoPony. Listen to his stuff. It's really good.

It's ironic how I fall just to get back up again...

Again, I'm really sorry about my lack of knowledge... It was a honest mistake, I don't really have knowledge in what music genre some music goes into. And since I just couldn't say "dubstep" or "remix" because it's more broad than that, so I said techno. But your term seems to fit better, so I have changed the topic title.

Yo, it's okay. In fact sometimes I wish I didn't know everything about music. It's a hassle differentiating post-hardcore from metal. XD

I Hate it when people use the word "Techno" To describe all electronic music, it drives me crazy, For myslef who actually produced Techno (as a style) Before, I Did'nt Like doing it, so I became an experimental hardcore producer I Still don't like Electronica either, That's the american mainstream way of saying EDM

I also hate the generalization of Electronic music, it's "music" but it's not like they have "Guitar Music" or "Banjo music" to fit into one's taste. I also hate generalization itself, it's a denial that everything is unique, and things must be sorted in a stereotypical way, have you ever been told "MLP FIM is a fackin Girl's show", well, That's how I feel like

-Rant

Anyway, Back on topic,

Mandopony makes great "Non-Electronic" Music, Alternative rock, country, etc. anything, this guy's got talent. and howabout Acousticbrony, these guys make great instrumental rock tracks? Have you ever heard of my friend Kyoga? He make pretty good "Guitar Music", soothing, natural and soulful, *unlike that Electronicah pfft*

Non-electronica brony musicians? You got it!

Tarbyrocks - mostly rock and develops as well into progressive rock. Also does a bit of other genres

Tsyolin/ApplejackTheEngineer - orchestral music.

Kyoga - mostly ambient music, can rock or even neoclassical as well.

KingSpartaX37 - Music in the style of videogames. Probably with sound of the 90's if you ask me, but I'm not sure.

TheLivingTombstone - Well, he mostly does remixes, so I'm not totally sure you would include him, but since he does a lot of collaborations with many musicians of many genres, he's varied. Check him out if you wish.

Bronyfied - Mostly metal.

Mic the Microphone - he's a good rapper, and many will agree (though he does use normal singing voice, like in a cover for Pinkie's Brew song).

AcousticBrony - for the most part, rock.

BeatleBrony - Need I say more? Covers from The Beatles songs, done in ponyfied lyrics!

JackleApp - To be honest, I'm not sure WHERE you would put him, but his songs Griffin Village series is quite known, and I recommend it.

Yourenigma - Almost all of him is jazz and classical music.

EpicMelodicMusic - some of his songs may be electronic-y but others are the complete opposite, going to classical and if I remember, a bit of rock as well.

CyrilTheWolf - mostly metal, death metal, but can do some other genres, mostly related with rock and funk.

Lyokofreaks69 - aside from doing some songs in Rock Band 3 style to use in the game, he also colaborates with a guy named Zonak, and does, for the most part, rock.

I hope this is useful to you!

Yeah, "dance music" is a term generally kept in the 90s. :P

After reading this thread I've never had a bigger desire to jam out to brony music before. Keep adding ponies, so I can have something new to listen to tonight too! :D
