Titan Rising 2,156 September 5, 2012 Share September 5, 2012 eggs are pretty much agreed to be the best. Then you've gotchur nuts and seeds. Then you've gotchur milk and other assortments of dairy Of course chicken, and perhaps fish as well!
Steel Matt 250 September 5, 2012 Share September 5, 2012 They are not the best videos, but it gives you a quick baseline of what products and/or vegetables can substitute for animal protein. I am not a vegetarian, but maybe I can learn to be someday? The average family household can save $3,000 by avoiding meat as much as possible! Starshine 16,333 September 5, 2012 Share September 5, 2012 I suggest Tempeh for your protein needs. It tastes delicious and damn cheap if you know where to buy. Unfortunately it got bad rather easily, so you will have to cook it immediately after you buy it
null1 606 September 5, 2012 Share September 5, 2012 (edited) so i got food posining for about the 27th time this year becuase of a bad burger so what foods ecluding meat have protein in them Was it not cooked all the way? Just curious. I've eaten burgers and steaks with red in the center and had no problems, even eaten raw meat in sushi. Most burgers should cooked all the way most of the time. But as stated earlier, eggs and nuts are a good source. Edited September 5, 2012 by DeltaTangent

I mean they tend to cook that meat all the way through. Silvadel, the Pegasus of Insight.

Yes, good point, I've never been a fan of lettuce, especially since the E-Coli outbreaks in the past years. Matter of fact, any burgers I get have no lettuce, onions and pickles, but no lettuce. @@Jesse20, what specific class of Wendy's Burger poisoned you? Mrhnhrm 5 September 5, 2012 Share September 5, 2012 Basically anything that plants produce as seeds is pretty rich in protein: beans, nuts, whole grain, cereals. Although plant protein is somewhat difficult for gut to process completely and it's not the best imaginable amino-acid composition for humans, but you can survive on it. Meat, dairy products and eggs are better balanced.
