Very nice! Though I have to ask, was this done in creative or adventure mode? I suspect creative - which isn't a bad thing. Minecraft art is very challenging - all I ever wind up making is a pitiful little hut XD

Welp, now you just need to make them all have individual rooms and what not. This might actually be a nice thing to try and get people on this site to join up and use as a hub point for just talking and hanging out since this site DOES have a minecraft server here. Feld0 actually hosts those servers where people pay him to run them and such to host the servers that you would be in control of, just ask him and he could tell you pricing for such a thing.

 

Also, this should be on the minecraft topic exchange. Oh, if it is creative you just need to transfer over the code to a survival mode and it can easily be played normally then, fairly simple to do as well just Google it up and their should be topics for it, just remember to back up your work!

People have done that, just take a look at the MLP Forums Extranet and you'll see the Minecraft link. I personally built Rainbow Dash's house as an exact replica of the show. Been seeing other people build some other stuff there too, you should check it out there.

Creative, lol it would have taken soooooooooooooo very many MONTHS in survival mode, I mean like in survival I would have to collect the blocks and geez

Actually I did build this for my server on singleplayer, then just put the world on my multiplayer bukkit server soooo yah

I am currently working in the hardest project ever -- something very hard to build because it needs good bows at the top, and many kinds of diferent materials, and it is not a square. I kind of like some details in that city, perhaps we could challenge each other in a competition of architecture?

Don't take that last statement serious.

 

Also, do you use MCedit?

You should try using this server mod/plugin called worldedit. It's what people use for building large sections of wall for buildings that would normally take a very long time.

Haha, yeah, doing this on survival mode would have been completely crazy! But honestly, I've heard of far crazier things in Minecraft. xD
