planning MLP: FiM Stallion Style

Basically I want to do a my little pony role play but with male versions of the mane 6 and Spike. So I need seven people who are willing to dedicate themselves! >.< Not really, just like post alot, to keep the story going.

 

So ideas anyone?

 

Oh and the names! The name's must be different from the OC names. And if you feel the need to make a character profile that you can use General Zoi's Pony Generator on Deviantart.

(I'm not saying you have to. Only if you want too)

 

Edit: The character Spike has been added and since the mane 6 are going to be guys Spike shall be a girl. :>

but do we really have to change the names?

 

And well it's just the opposite gender of the Mane 6, I don't think they'll each need a character sheet

Fair enough on the subject of the character sheets but the names must be changed. I mean there can't be a stallion named Rarity or Pinkie Pie can there? Have you ever seen the PMV's on youtube that are the colt version? You know how Twilight Sparkle becomes Dusk Shine? Things like that.

Well we I was thinking of reenacting the episodes but if you guys have any ideas, feel free to enlighten me.

Also, I doubt anyone has the episodes memorized enough that they wouldn't just end up using articles from Wikipedia or something. If someone could propose some plot ideas, I think it would be helpful to the group.

Well I leave it up to you guys, I'm fine either way. We could always loosely follow the plot of MLP from beginning to end, like playing out the genderbent major events while allowing for side characters to have a prominent appearance.

He gritted his teeth and sighed quietly, he couldn't just up and leave Equestria to visit him! He had a kingdom to rule. Suddenly an idea smacked him upside the head, "Dusk Shine!" he exclaimed and levitated a scroll towards his.

"To my dearest student, Dusk Shine..."

"...to visit my brother Atmosphere in his kingdom of Stars!" Dusk Shine let out a cry of joy when he finished reading the Prince's letter. His friends seemed to be having excited panic attacks but for completely different reasons.

"And he wants us to be his official ambassadors?" Elusive repeated, still unable to believe his ears.

And so on. So how does that sound? And then that way Red Gala or Damsel (assuming she's still a knight despite her gender) can come.

First off, I thought Luna's R63 name was Artemis. Second, that seems like a neat idea. It could be very fun if done right. But, maybe if some of the other people lent some ideas, it could be fleshed out more.

Prince Atmosphere is an alicorn that I just spontaneously created. I mean if he was Luna then they wouldn't be going anywhere because Luna doesn't have her own kingdom. So its like Celestia>Sun Luna>Moon Atmosphere>Stars.

So out genderbent counterparts go off to some other place and have adventures there? It should work, assuming nopony wants to play the fillies and colts, anypony could feasibly be brought along. The general idea of the RP lends itself more to a slice-of-life exploration of how switching genders changes things around from canon FIM anyways.
