  1. Everyone cusses at you when you play Darius. Even if they're not actually typing it, they're thinking, "f--- it's a Darius". Especially that poor top laner going against you. Think about the poor Irelia that has to deal with that bull.
  2. "You're telling me, Pinkie... I have no idea what is happening, or where all these ponies are coming from." Rainbow was a few steps away from flying off and trying again another day, when there were less ponies and less crazy things going down. Annoyed with the others and annoyed with herself for being annoyed at the others, Rainbow shot looks around, meeting Brutal's glare with her own.
  3. I think, personally, that the good tunes from 2000 and on will be remembered by future generations as much as the good tunes from the 70s and 80s and 90s were remembered. After all, do we remember every pop hit from previous times? No, we try our hardest not to sometimes! So, I think there are some class hits from out current day that will be remembered. As for what I personally love, it's all over the place.
  4. "I have no problem with blank flanks. More power to you, in fact. I do however, have a problem with accusations being thrown at me." Diamond was hardly even looking at Applebloom, so bored she was with this conversation. "My cutie mark was given to me for my beauty, and ability to impress others and win awards with my beauty."
  5. "Wh-what? You control his emotions? Isn't that, like, evil or something?" Rainbow's instincts were reminding her at this moment of creatures like Chrysalis. Rainbow took a step back, suddenly unsure of how safe this stallion was, what with all his weird... was it even magic, for Celestia's sake? "Hey Rarity... you know this guy? Holy hay, there's another one!"
  6. Diamond Tiara ignored most of the responses to her question about music. Halfway through hearing them, she had decided that the knowledge simply wouldn't be worth her time. But she couldn't resist a chance to show off: "Afraid I won't be joining the crusade for 'cuta' marks." Diamond examined a hoof. "Beyond the rather strong meaning of the word 'crusade', I also already have my cutie mark." Diamond pushed away from her desk, letting her flank be seen by all the class in position to see. She pulled back, having given them a glimpse of what they didn't have. "Miss Cheerilee? A cutie mark is a mark on a pony that indicates their special talent, and it is earned- not through crusading- but through performing the one thing you are good at above all else."
  7. Pop music ran through Diamond's head, she was tapping a forehoof against her desk as she continued to plan out her presentation. She half wondered what the musical tastes of her fellow classmates were. It would probably be something stupid, she doubted the tastes of her peers were as developed as her's were... Worth a shot, anyways. Without even looking at anypony, Diamond Tiara asked: "What music does everypony like?"
  8. "Uh... oooo... kay?" Rainbow wasn't sure if she understood or not. It wasn't an easy concept for her to wrap her head around, it reminded her of all the dumb stuff Twilight would talk about when she got in the mode. "So let me get this straight. They're fractions of some other pony and they have their own Elements of Harmony, or..." Rainbow trailed off. "You getting any of this, Spearmint?"
  9. Rainbow Dash grimaced, annoyed that she had triggered Hank's defensive side. Annoyed with him and herself, though it was mostly with him. She sighed, trying to apologize: "Look, I..." She trailed off, as the whatever the heck they were appeared. Rainbow Dash watched, not really knowing to make of what was happening. She sure as hay didn't want to run off, but she sure as hay didn't know what she wanted to do in response to... whatever was happening. "Uh... the hay is going on here?"
  10. "Oh great, you still have it! Come on, don't leave me hanging here! Throw it over!" Rainbow had gone too long for her tastes without the taste of her favorite sourdrops. She took an impatient step toward Spearmint, then noticed that another stallion was upcoming. "Yo, watch it, you're gonna-" Well, he already caught himself. Nopony harmed. Rainbow was a bit leery about introducing herself to stranger ponies, but then she decided it wouldn't be that bad. Sure, he looked a bit sketch, but she hadn't known Twilight before introducing herself, right? "Name's Rainbow Dash. Welcome to Ponyville, Hank. So..." She was about to go back to Spearmint, but then heard Hank continue on, and she had to resist the urge to roll her eyes. "That sounds so creepy dude, seriously? Not a good way to make a good first impression." Unimpressed with the newcomer, Rainbow turned back to Spearmint. "So... What was that about a new school?"
  11. "Oh, but you're simply the prettiest little filly I have ever seen! How can I help you, Diamond Tiara?" Diamond stood before a certain Rarity, the premier designer of Ponyville. Rarity was already taking Diamond's measurements even while they were speaking, a magically controlled spool of measure wrapping itself in every direction and configuration possible. "I'm doing a presentation at school," Diamond Tiara said with her most polite and demure voice possible. She respected most adult ponies except the obviously dumb ones, even if she didn't respect her own peers regardless of their intelligence. "And I wanted to dress as Smart Cookie. You know, the earth pony second in command during the move to Equestria?" "Oh, that's a wonderful idea! Well I just happen to have exactly what you need in stock, in your size no less!" Diamond Tiara raised an eyebrow, surprised by how easy it apparently was. "Well, I do supply Cheerilee's class with costumes for school plays if she requests them. And of course, that Hearth's Warming Eve play is the most common play of them all, right?" Diamond Tiara nodded, the logic was easy enough to follow. "Good. I'll just get you the costume, no charge since you are using it for school..." Several minutes later, Diamond was on her way back to school, the folded and pressed costume neatly tucked into her saddlebag, which was itself a beautifully sewn piece from Carousel Boutique. She knew she'd need to do a bit more research on her chosen pony's history, but for now she was content with having gotten part of her project done, especially since she hadn't needed to use her father's money to pull it off. "Gossip, gossip, filly just stop it, everypony knows I'm a motherbucking monster..." Humming the odd note as she entered class, Diamond impassively trotted right by the newcomer and sat at her desk. No time for introductions. She needed to get her hooves on some historical literature.
  12. Diamond Tiara was pretty intent on her thoughts. She thought about the various characters from history she could play. Apparently, the now famous Private Pansy had been beautiful. But her demure role for most of history was not something Diamond Tiara thought suited her personality. Commander Hurricane seemed too extremely in the other direction. And Chancellor Puddinghead... Well, she had a very accurate name. No way Diamond Tiara was wearing that in front of her peers. That left Smart Cookie... could she pull off that kind of look? So engrossed she was in her planning that she was able to ignore the bell, and Splinter's outburst. Well, she was determined to ignore Splinter's outbursts anyways. But she did hear her own name being called, so she looked up... "Oh real mature, Lucky!" Foals, she was surrounded by foals. Diamond dismissed them with a wave of her hoof and started to trot for the door. She had costumes to commission.
  13. "Jus' curious. Been a while since I've seen him 'round the farm." It was pretty clear that Red Gala wasn't going to admit to anything more, from her slightly stiff tone. She nodded absently. "Yup, ah think ahm headin' off. See ya'll 'round later, bro." Red Gala started trotting away, further into town.
  14. "Mmm." With that pseudo-grunt Diamond eagerly tuned out Splinter. His problems were his problems, not her problems. If Amber wanted to help him fix the sad thing he called himself, so be it. "I got it, Magenus. And whatever. Let me tell you, you aren't going to get any fillies to like you with that kind of attitude." Diamond went back to contemplating her presentation, only one ear attentive now. If she could get something custom from Carousel Boutique, that would be the best. But that would also be expensive. And she didn't want her father to pay for it like he did everything else...
  15. The house was passed over by a certain rainbow themed blur, moving with such velocity already that Rainbow Dash kicked up a billow of dust just by breezing near Storm Fire's school. She had no eyes for the school, it was just one of many blurs to her. She was looking for... aha, there she was. Right on her usual route. Equestria's fastest pegasus came to a bumpy and staggered stop, her momentum almost carrying her into a tree on the side of the road. She was nothing if not a fast recoverer however, and before she even fully stopped she was already trotting towards Spearmint. "Hey, Spearmint. You missed my house." Rainbow was pretty strict about her food, and she could get harsh with other ponys over it.
  16. Diamond giggled slightly at Amber's antics. Was she an idiot? Yes, to an extreme degree actually. But Diamond had enough enemies as was, and she found that Amber was more endearing than anything else. It was like she was a cute little puppy. Who could hate a cute little puppy? "Frankly, I don't care if he has a crush on me. He has zero chance." Diamond Tiara was equally amused by the idea that Magneus was the one crushing on her. She put a dramatic hoof to her brow, tilted her head back. "Only the first day of school and I've already got two boy after me. What on earth is an innocent little filly to do?" Chuckling, a genuine hearty chuckle, Diamond Tiara was quiet for a moment. Then she glanced at Magenus. "Seriously, don't even try anything." She went back to her desk and sat.
  17. Diamond Tiara gave a highly exaggerated shudder. "Oh, Celestia help me if he has a crush on me!" She was wearing a smile for the rest of Magneus and Splinter's conversation. Magneus clearly had ambition, ego, and Diamond Tiara could work with a pony like this. For a moment, a very strange visual of the two of them wearing hoods and conducting occult rituals occurred to the young foal, then Diamond shook it out.
  18. Diamond Tiara wasn't hurt by the retaliation, not a bit. Frankly, she was a bit offended that Acro hadn't called her out on more. If you criticized another pony, at least go out of your way to really chew them out! All the same, Diamond was a bit nervous. She hadn't even really done anything yet and already she was being seen as a diva. Of course, that's what she wanted to be seen as, but if her reputation was cemented too soon then people would be biased against her! Then how would she impress them? A hoof went up to adjust the positioning of her tiara, tilting it into an angle no better or worse than where it had been already. But at least Magneus was sticking up for her. Diamond Tiara smiled at her partner, an actually genuine smile as small as it was. She trotted over to Acro's desk, politely waiting until her head was done to lean in and start whispering: "... Did I ever say I'm happy with how people interpret my talent? You included, mind you. But hey, I guess I am vain. I thought I could be possibly friends with you, but obviously that was a dumb thought." Diamond Tiara straightened up. Two out of the class were already her enemies. This was going to be an interesting year. "Yes Miss Cheerilee!" She quipped at Splinter, "You hear that? Get rid of your mess." She then trotted over to Amber. The girl might be nuts, but at least she was nuts in a positive way. Unlike Splinter. "You think I'm cool? Thank you very much, Amber!"
  19. "Yup." Gala trotted over to the pile of baskets and set down her's with a single smooth motion. "Ya'll see Butterscotch 'round, AJ?" The question was innocuously asked. Red Gala could be very hard to read when she wanted to be, stoically considering Applejack from over by the stacks of apple bushels.
  20. "AJ." A simple, quiet, but intensely powerful female bass voice resounded from behind Applejack. It was Red Gala, Applejack's soft spoken elder sister, who was far stronger than her petite frame implied, there was a large bushel of apples balanced on her back and Red Gala wasn't even sweating. "Ya'll need anymore fer the stand?"
  21. Diamond Tiara scoffed. "Cliche? Cliche?! Well, perhaps that is true, but believe me, I will redefine the nature of presentations in costume." She smiled craftily, her mind already working at full clip on makeup, hair... "So we've got a while, and Twilight Sparkle...? I like how you're thinking, Magneus. I'm sure your presentation is going to be a blast!" Not as much of one as Diamond's, she was sure. She was going on internally, on a roll, when it was rudely crashed by a certain Amber. Diamond whipped around, an annoyed snarl forming, but she then cut herself short and smiled politely. Attention was attention, after all. "Uh yes..." Diamond giggled nervously, "A lot of ponies say it means that I'm naturally incredibly beautiful, I guess. Does that answer it, Amber?"
  22. "I could write to Princess Celest- oh hey you two!" Twilight looked at Fluttershy ((I think?)) with surprise. "Wait... Discord? So is it true? Has he come back?" Twilight was suddenly horrified, biting her lower lip in nervousness. If Discord was really back, then things were going to become very bad very quickly... Pinkie seemed somewhat less affected, however. Instead of being terrified, she just waved happily at Rarity and Fluttershy.
  23. I'm insane about a lot of things, I lack human compassion and I don't even try to pretend otherwise. No, none of that is actually true. I'm not insane, I'm just as insane as everyone else. So, nothing unique about me, ah guess. What do I do, however? I never know when to stop joking, I can be very caustic towards others, I have some weird likes besides ponies, and I like the raps.
  24. ^x2 Yees, my sentiments exactly. I'm able to deal with hate, but I'd at least like a response when I say something, even if it's a cuss or something thrown.
  25. Now that Hasbro knows it has a pretty sizable periphery demographic that it can rely on, I expect there will be more promotion, some changed around episode concepts (Crystal Empire already seems to be a departure from the norm), and I think there's a good chance of a boost in fandom, especially since some of the 'crazy' of the fandom was worked out over the course of the 2nd Season, so it's less likely that people will be driven away.
