Aplplejack had gotten to the silo door before she was catapulted by some force, she had first thought it was Big Mac again, but the area was also enveloped by a light of some kind. "Oof!" Applejack landed with a thud, her vision was slightly dizzy as she got her bearings once more. "Ngh... Wha- what happened?" Applejack asked herself, just then a rather large, robotic, bi-ped had appeared in front of Applejack, catching her off guard. "What 'n the hay?!" Applejack braced herself, she knew she wouldn't be able to react fast enough in her current state, but the onslaught never came in fact, it seemed to be introducing itself, and offering a hoof... Handshake.

 

"Uhh... Pleasure makin' your acquaintance.... Uh... E- 12... Fella." Applejack extended her hoof to complete the shake, "My name's Applejack. You ain't with that Egg feller', are ya?" Applejack inquired to the machine when out of the blue she heard a "LOOK OUT APPLEJACK," coming from a very familiar voice.

 

"*sigh* S'cuse me fer just a sec Fella'," Applejack said as she turned toward the on coming fillies. "Hold up now ya'll, he seems neighborly-" just then Omega fired something at Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle, destroying their scooter and wagon respetively. "Alright, never mind what I said, ya'll get ta cover, I'll handle this one" the robot looked tough, but this one also had many weak looking points to it, it's arms and legs operated on thin joints, unlike Big Mac who was made to represent a tank almost. One good buck from Applejack would be all it would take to dismantle one of this power boxes arms or legs off, then the rest of it would follow. "You ain't gonna take not another step towards 'em, ya hear!" Applejack adopted an aggresive stance to Gamma. "Just you try, see if I don't turn ya into a scrape pile!" Applejack snorted, ready to charge at a moments notice.

KNUCKLES

 

"Tch, whatever. You have it your way, you'll be here all day with that rhyming yahoo." Knuckles retorted as he walked down the path a ways, waiting for the shy pony and Blaze, practicing his moves through shadow boxing, "Tch, we're wasting time here. If it wasn't for the fact that this whole place feels the same way the Master Emerald feels, I would've been done AGES ago!" Knuckles was gearing up to do his knockout punch which followed after his combinations. He had been at it for awhile when Blaze and the Shy pony came back down the path.

 

"So... Any news on where they went?" Knuckles said to the pony, awaiting a response while still practicing his boxing technique.

"Argh" Scootaloo grunted the robot she was charging at all of a sudden shot at them with its weapons, and unable to dodge Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle jumped off the Scooter & Wagon as it was hit destroying their method of transportation. "Applejack are you crazy!?!" Scootaloo shouted at the farmer pony angry on how she could so easily trust the mysterious robot. "What if this robot is evil?!?" Scootaloo asked. "He already tried to kill us with is weapons of death!!" Scootaloo added. "Well to be fair you did kind of charge at him first Scoots." Sweetie interjected. The robot asked why they were attacking him. "Well we thought you were going to hurt our friend here." Sweetie admitted "Yeah.....Sorry about that!" Scootaloo added apologetically. "There's been a whole lot of weird stuff happening lately and so we just thought you were out to harm other people." Said Sweetie.

 

 

Applejack said for them to go home again thinking Big Machinbot would be after them again soon. "Oh i wouldn't worry about Big Mac Applejack." Scootaloo said. "That blast Sweetie did on him should keep him down for a while so we dont have to worry about him for now" she added. "Yeah thanks to this rock thingy he won't be hurting anybody!" Sweetie said holding up the Chaos Emerald.

 

The robot asked where did they get the Chaos and Sol Emerald. "Chaos whatit's now?" Scootaloo asked dumbly. "Whats a Chaos and Sol Emerald?" Sweetie asked. The robot then said something about contacting Shadow. "And who are you talking to?" Scootaloo added.

 

 

 

Fluttershy

After the conversation with Zacora, Blaze and Fluttershy were coming back down the path they went , eventually they meet back up with Knuckles who was doing some fighting moves. "Oh Zacora said she didn't know." Fluttershy said as she watched the Echidna do a uppercut combo. "But she did say they are ok wherever they are thank Celestia." Fluttershy added relived. "But don't you worry about finding your emerald. I'm sure we'll see them on the way to get Blaze's Sol emerald......if that's ok." Fluttershy said to Knuckles.

The trio walked over to Fluttershy's Cottage ,however something was wrong. "Oh my." Fluttershy sqeaked seeing her normally animal inhabited cottage now barren without a single animal. "Where did all my animals go to?" Fluttershy wondered. It was unervingly quiet except there soon was a wierd clicking noise coming from somewhere. "W-w-w-what was that?" Fluttershy asked shivering but soon regained her composure knowing she'd have to be brave right now. The clicking noise stopped which better helped Fluttershy calm down but the eerie quietness was still unnerving to her. Fluttershy turned to Kunckles and Blaze. "If you guys don't mind can you please stay here?" She asked politely "I'm going to find Angel so he can give me your Sol Emerald." she said flying off to her cottage door.

 

 

 

As Fluttershy unlocked the door she was kinda surprised even her interior was empty. "Umm Angel?....You there?" Fluttershy called out. "If you are can you please come to me." Fluttershy said. A few moments later there wasn't any response at all. "Can anyone here me?!?" Fluttershy shouted once again. Then the clicking started back up again. "Eeep!" Fluttershy shriek making her tense up. After calming down a little Fluttershy could tell where the clicking was coming from., the cabinets!

 

 

"Hello?" Fluttershy asked. mo response. "Angel....is that you?" she asked no response but the clicking got louder. Fluttershy opened the Cabinet. Dozens of robotic animals came swarming out. "AHHHHHHH" Fluttershy screamed at the top of her lungs. As the Badnicks swarmed Fluttershy quickly. As Fluttershy tried to escape she was overwhelmed by the sheer number of animals and soon she was overcome by darkness.

Blaze nodded to Zecora in thanks before walking down the path back to Knuckles who was practising his fighting moves, when he asked about the two fillies "I'm afraid she didn't know Knuckles, we'll have to go look somewhere else" she told her friend sadly "don't worry though, we'll find the Chaos Emeralds, the Sol Emeralds AND the Master Emerald" the cat told him, giving him a small smile. Upon hearing Fluttershy's idea to go to her home to get the Sol Emerald there "very well, that is if it's okay with you Knuckles" she said to him as she followed the shy pegasus. When they reached it Blaze saw it was a peaceful looking cottage that had bird and animal houses just about everywhere but was eeirly quiet, when Fluttershy asked them to stay outside while she checked inside her house which Blaze agreed to. As she waited outside Blaze suddenly heard a scream coming from the cottage "Fluttershy!!!" Blaze yelled out as she ran in to see the pegasus being swarmed by lots of robotic animals and blacking out, she quickly began to kick the robots away from Fluttershy "we need to get them out of here!" Blaze said to herself as she beganto try and lead them outside.

Princess Cadence was about to help lead Shadow to the caves when a figure teleported infront of their group, Cadence was able to regonize her immediately "Aunt Luna!!" Cadence called out as she went over to her when she saw Luna was looking dizzy "Aunt Luna, what happened? A-are you alright?" I though i saw that Eggman character holding you hostage againest Aunt Celestia? Speaking of whom where is she?" the young princess asked her aunt franticly.

As Sonic looked over at Shadow confirming on helping Twilight's group and saying that they should take down Eggman together, Sonic gave him a thumbs-up. "No problem, Shadow. Just leave it to us." Sonic said to his speed rival. Sonic heard a voice behind him and sees Manic trying to ask for help with stopping Robotnik. "We're good here, bro. Although it might be a good idea if you went with Shadow and the others through the mines in case they run into any security in the mines." Sonic said to Manic. Sonic looked towards RD as they saw the welcoming committee sent by Eggman. "I'm ready, Sonic. Let's go and stop Robuttnik!" Rainbow Dash said to Sonic. Sonic looked to Rainbow Dash with a grin. "You know it, RD. Alright, gang. Let's do it to it!" Sonic said to the group around him before speeding off with RD towards the front of the castle.

 

As Twilight saw Sonic speed out of her sight, she turned to Shadow who asked her where the mines are. She was about to answer when she heard a familiar voice from behind. She turned to see that Princess Luna was with them! "Princess Luna! Oh thank Celestia! Are you okay?" Twilight said to Luna while running to her side. A thought struck Twilight. "Why is she here now? I thought that she was being held captive..." Twilight thought to herself while having a very bad feeling crawl through her mind.

Sonic looked back at his best friend and gave a grin. "The same thing that we always do, Tails. Attack!" Said Sonic. Sonic and Rainbow Dash reached the castle entrance to find it guarded by Pegasi. Unfortunately, they already appear as Badniks, thanks to Robotnik. "What the heck happened to them?" Rainbow Dash asked to Sonic. "It's Robuttnik. He always does this back in our world. He kidnaps small animals and uses them to power up his machines." Sonic said to RD. Rainbow widened her eyes at the realization. "Oh man. This Robotnik would be number one on Fluttershy's list if she ever found out that Robotnik kidnaps small animals and does this to them." Rainbow said slightly amused to Sonic. The two of them saw the Pegasus badniks move on them. "Sonic the Hedgehog: Priority One." said the Pegasus Badniks in a monotone voice. Sonic chuckled slightly. "Guess somethings never change with Eggman. Alright, RD. It's Spin and Win time!" Sonic said to Rainbow before they sped off to deal with the badniks. Sonic swerved on the right to dodge the charge of one of the badniks. Rainbow drew the attention of the four badniks and looks at Sonic. "Hey, Sonic! Wanna help me blow them away?" Rainbow asked to Sonic. Sonic knew exactly what she had in mind and gave a thumbs-up. At that moment, Sonic and Rainbow Dash started spinning in circles together creating a rainbow-colored twister drawing the badniks inside and sent the badniks crashing into each other in the tornado. The two stopped their technicolor twister and gave a fist/hoof bump to each other. "Alright, let's go and get Egghead!" Sonic said to RD, prompting the two to enter inside the castle's entrance hall.

 

Twilight looked at Princess Luna as the regal princess pointed out at something small in her wing. Twilight used her magic to levitate the object out of her wing and held it in front of her. She looked at Tails and handed it to him. Twilight looked at Princess Luna. "Princess Luna, what happened? How did you escape?" Twilight asked Princess Luna, waiting anxiously for her reply.

Eggman watches as Sonic and Rainbow Dash get closer. "Time for the show to begin." he says as he pushes some kind of button on his glasses. "Welcome, welcome Sonic and...Dash was it?" he says as the two enter. "I can't believe the Element of Loyalty would be helping the monster that destroyed Fillydelphia, but then again, I guess no one really knows where your loyalties lie do they?" Eggman says almost taunting RD. "Now Celestia this is the one who destroyed the fine town of Fillydelphia correct?" the nanobots activate causing Celestia to nod her head in agreement.

Luna flinched as the bolt came out, and then took a deep breath and said, "The doctor shot me with something that looked like a miniature lightning bolt while I was looking at his quarters... and then... I fell unconsious... then... um... I woke up with my sister watching me from a tube, and then... the next thing I remember, I was being carried off by some robot ponies, and then I... I teleported out." Luna swallowed. "I think that there is something going on involving magical energies in the castle... just the teleport here took more than a few seconds."

 

Celestia was forced to nod her head. Just have to... wait...

Knuckles grumbled angerly as he followed the cat Princess and the timid pegasus "tch...I can't believe this...I'm supposed to be looking for the Master Emerald!!" he thought as they reached Fluttershy's cottage which he had to admit was nice but was oddly quiet. He nodded when the yellow pegasus asked him and Blaze to wait outside. However he soon began to get impatient as they waited when the suddenly both heard a scream "what the...?!" he wondered aloud before seeing Blaze run in, he waited a moment before seeing robotic animals being kicked out "tch...one of Eggman's schemes no doubt" he huffed as she punched one of the robots releasing an animal inside. Meanwhile Blaze began to get rid of the robotic animals and releasing the real ones inside "ugh...i am starting to hate these things!" she muttered as she kicked another one.

Cadence nudged her Aunt "I'm just glad that you're alright Aunt Luna...we were actually about to go to the caves beneath Canterlot to get in and help Aunt Celestia, you should go somewhere to rest up though it's obvious that you're in pain" Cadence told her Aunt worriedly.

Eggman picks up the signal from the nanobots telling him Celestia is about to use her magic. He then exclaims "No! Princess look out!!" before switching something on his glasses. Suddenly Celestia's magic goes crazy as bolts of magic start flying everywhere. In the confusion Eggman escapes to his Egg-Shell portable armor leaving Sonic and Dash to doge the bolts.

 

"Eggman's lab is in the caverns? " Shadow says to Luna. "Then it will be heavily guarded, which would explain the robots you saw." Shadow says.

Sonic and Rainbow Dash were approaching the throne room when they spotted two Pegasus Badniks guarding the throne room. Sonic used a Spin Dash on the Badnik on the left whle Rainbow Dash utilized her Filly Flash on the Badnik to the right. The momentum had sent them bursting inside the throne room. Sonic and RD looked ahead to see Princess Celestia acting normal with Dr. Robotnik standing on her left.

 

"Welcome, welcome Sonic and...Dash was it?" he says as the two enter. "I can't believe the Element of Loyalty would be helping the monster that destroyed Fillydelphia, but then again, I guess no one really knows where your loyalties lie do they?" Eggman says almost taunting RD. "Now Celestia this is the one who destroyed the fine town of Fillydelphia correct?" the nanobots activate causing Celestia to nod her head in agreement.

Rainbow Dash looked towards Eggman as he eggs her on with his insults. "Why you rotten!..." Rainbow Dash began to say while getting ready to fly and kick his glasses in. However, Sonic stepped in to stop her. "Hold up, RD. Egghead is just playing with us." Sonic said to Rainbow Dash with a grin. Sonic tossed the destroyed head of Eggman's Badnik across the throne room to Robotnik and Princess Celestia. "Well, look who it is. Didja miss me, Baldy McNosehair?" Sonic said to Robotnik while doing a gesture implying he had a mustache. When Princess Celestia acknowledged that Sonic was the villain, Rainbow Dash flew up to the middle of the throne room. "Princess, he is lying to you! Sonic isn't the one behind Fillydelphia; this Eggman guy is the one. He used his cheap metal knock-off of Sonic to destroy the town and his robot almost destroyed Ponyville and my friends. They would've been more than seriously hurt if Sonic didn't show up to stop it." Rainbow Dash said in an accusatory manner towards Eggman.

Out of the corner of Sonic's eye, he saw Robotnik attempting to make a break for his Egg-Shell. "Hey, where do you think you're going Eggman?" Sonic called out to Robotnik as he sped off to stop Robotnik from escaping while working to sidestep from the bolts of energy Princess Celestia kept firing. Rainbow Dash looked towards Sonic speeding towards Eggman. "Sonic, wait up!" Rainbow Dash yelled out to Sonic while doing a loop-de-loop to dodge 3 bolts of energy.

 

Twilight jumped as she heard an explosion coming from the throne room and looked to see that bolts of luminescent bright green energy were flying from the window. "Oh no, that must be coming from Princess Celestia. Why is she attacking though? Oh Rainbow, please be okay... Come on, we have to get in to that secret lab! Princess Luna, get back to Ponyville right now and get some rest. You're still in danger!" Twilight Sparkle said in the manner that she does when she has a plan in mind. She then started to gallop off to the castle garden where they could enter inside the Crystal Mines.

 

Applejack looked back at the two fillys. "I thought I told you two ta stay behind me!" Applejack said to Scootaloo and Swettie Belle in the same way that she does with Applebloom when she did something wrong. Applejack looked back to Omega, who wasn't making any kind of aggresive gesture whatsoever as it explained the curiosity of the two fillys behind her. Applejack was taken slightly aback by Omega's explanation about the Chaos Emeralds and slightly lowered her guard. "Whoa, hold on there, Sally. Chaos Emeralds? Sol Emeralds? Yer not makin' a lick of sense here..." Applejack said to Omega. Applejack looked back to the two fillys behind her and she saw something sparkle in Sweetie Belle's bag. Applejack turned towards Sweetie Belle. "Sweetie Belle, what do you have in yer bag? Lemme see it." Applejack said in the same firm, no-nonsense tone.

Celestia went unconscious. Even the nano bots couldn't mask this. Her body just drooped. It looked like she was being used as a puppet. And, her body, suspended in the air, started to turn towards the sound...

"Enemy spotted. Sonic the Hedgehog, Rainbow Dash, and Dr. Eggman targeted. FIRE."

A focused beam of energy went from her horn, missed Rainbow Dash, knocked Sonic down, and started to melt through Dr. Eggman's shield...

 

Luna tried to stand up, but fell down. She looked at her back legs... one of them was bent at a funny angle. She closed her eyes, took in the pain, and then looked at Twilight. "No, Twilight. I will stay here. However," she said, flourishing her head in a regal manner. "I order you to check out what is going on up there in Canterlot Tower." She turned to Shadow. "I, however, have no jurisdiction over you. Please, try to flank the others. They are at the top, and there was another entrance, and exit, about two-thirds of the way up. Go through the mines and see what you can do..." she grimanced and looked at her leg. "As I try to see if that course on healing magic was any worth..."

Charmy was buzzing around, trying to find someting to do with his day he wasn't sure but something felt different about today.....he couldn't seem o get home but he remembered some advice Espio once gave him, "Remember Charmy, this world can be scary. But you must always remain calm..."

Charmy then spotted a familiar face, E-123 Omega, and a couple of......ponies? Charmy had to investigate.......

"Hey! Omegie!!!! How 'ya doin'? oooo who are your friends? Can I meet them? Hey there I'm Charmy Bee nice to meet 'ya! Are you horse's? That's kinda cool! I'm a bee, but I wonder what it'd be like to be a horse........"

manic thought about what sonic was up to... " probably just betting down badniks and eggman as always... i just want to get into the mines, so i can get away with some diamonds!!! the best part is, that its not stealing, and i can get some coin off of it!"

The fillies were amazed at the robots story. "Wow so these Chaos Emeralds and Sol Emeralds are really powerful huh"? Scootaloo guessed. "Seems so." Sweetie agreed. "They kinda remind me of the Elements of Harmony in a way." she added then Omega had recieved some kind of signal and was headed twoards a certain direction it then asked if they could come if they wanted too. "Should we go?" Scootaloo asked. "Are you kidding?!?!" Sweetie shouted much to Scootaloos surprise. "Of course we should go!" She added. "Heh and her i thought you'd be too chicken to go." Scootaloo said. "Wait what about your scooter it was destroyed." Sweetie said. "Dont worry Sweets i remember Pinkie Pie said she had random Scooter stashes all over Ponyville for emergencies." Scootaloo said grabbing a scooter from a nerby tree hole. "Now lets roll!"

Fluttershy fell to the floor barley concious. "Ugh what are those things." She said weakly getting back up.

Kunckles glanced at Fluttershy for a moment before destroying a couple more badniks and releasing more animals from their robot prisons "these things are called 'Badniks'" Knuckles told her punching another "back home Dr. Eggman the man who created them, would capture small animals and use them as some sort of living battery for the robots, the only thing you can do to free them is destroying the mechanical shell" the echidna told the Pegasus punching two more "Grrr...this taking to long! what do he do?!" he growled out angerly. Blaze continued to kick and throw fire balls at the badniks "honestly i don't know whose worse, Eggman or Eggman Nega..." Blaze muttered out before taking out the Sol Emerald she had "i have an idea but i need both of you to stand back!!" Blaze yelled out. After making sure they were a fair ways away, she concentrated on the gem as her power of fire increased and began her spinning claw attack, with the ring of fire's range increased she was able to take them out. When she was done and stopped spinning she fell to one knee panting "that...took more...out of me...then i thought..." she gasped out. Then suddenly a Badnik that had hid when Blaze was starting her attack was about to attack Blaze from behind when Knuckles punched it at the last minute "yeaaah...i don't think so" he said as the animal was released and turned to Blaze "you alright?" he asked knowing that now wasn't the time for teasing "fine..." Blaze answered as she shakely standing up "Fluttershy quick! where is the Sol Emerald here? we still need to find those two fillies" Blaze said urgently "not to mention catch up with Sonic...and speaking of those...fillies...do you have any idea where they might be right now?" Knuckles asked.

Princess Cadence nodded at her aunt's orders "we will do so Aunt Luna, just please don't do anything rash after you've gotten healed" she pleaded to her aunt before turning to Twilight and Shadow "we must hurry" she stated sternly before turning to Shadow "I understand that you come from another world and so any orders from us don't imply to you but...we could use your help in the mines" she told him understandingly bowing her head slightly before galloping to the mines. "Lets go!!! we must stop that horrid docter!!!!" she yelled out narrowing her eyes in determination.
