"If you're Sonic's brother then.... Oh no, you're not here to destroy Ponyville are you?" Spike said as he backed away fearfully. "What do we do Pinkie Pie? HE'S GONNA KILL US!" Spike yelled as he jumped on Pinkie's back and clung to her like a scared little baby foal.

"We...run for out life! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" She began to run in circles around Manic, eyes closed and mouth open, until she finally galloped off course and into the hedgehog. She sat with he rump on the ground and Spike off her back. "That was fun! Hey, Spike, you want to do it again?"

Sonic zipped over the branches and slid on the long branches in order to keep Rainbow Dash in his sights. Sonic was enjoying every bit of the moment. The only other person that could keep up with Sonic's speed was Shadow the Hedgehog and this pony was doing a great job at it. Soon, both Sonic and Rainbow Dash were out of the Everfree Forest and back on the road towards a small town. The town looked so peaceful to Sonic as he sped up closer next to Rainbow Dash. She looked at the hedgehog and felt really impressed by him. The both of them spoke at the same time. "Hey, you're not half bad." The both of them laughed at how they thought the same thing. Sonic spoke up to RD. "Hey Dash, where exactly is this place anyway? It doesn't look like any part of Mobius I've been at." Rainbow looked at Sonic with a bit of confusion. "Mobius? What the heck is that place? This place ahead of us is called Ponyville in the land of Equestria. That is where the start of the race is gonna be at." Rainbow said to Sonic. Sonic smirked at the answer who could hardly wait for the race. It has been a long time since he had a real challenge in a race. The last real speed challenge was from Shadow on top of the Space Colony ARK in a race for the Eclipse Cannon and it was a very close race.

 

Sonic saw the inside of the town much more clearly as he and Rainbow Dash got closer to Ponyville. "So, I'm in Ponyville in the middle of Equestria, huh? Guess that means I'm not on Mobius anymore. Doesn't seem so bad. This world looks perfect for a Hedgehog to run." Sonic thought to himself. Sonic looked ahead at a fountain in the center to see a green figure surrounded by a small purple figure and another pony that was pink. As Sonic got closer to the fountain, he saw that it was his brother, Manic. "Manic? What on Mobius is he doing here? At least I finally found someone!" Sonic thought to himself. Sonic looked over to Rainbow Dash and spoke to her. "Hold up a sec, Dash. That's my kid brother there. I gotta talk to him real quick before we start." Rainbow Dash looked over at the fountain as they sped closer to the center of town and saw the one Sonic was talking about. He looked like Sonic, but was green instead of blue. She also saw that Pinkie Pie was running in circles around the green hedgehog. "Ugghh, what in the hay is she doing? Come on, Sonic." Rainbow said to him before speeding up to the group at the fountain. Sonic followed suit and was once again next to Dash until they skidded to a halt next to the fountain. "Hey, Manic! What's cool, little bro?" Sonic said to Manic holding his fist out for a fist-bump.

Manic: uhg.... Did you not catch the part where I sayd sonic would never attack anyone?...

I can only imagin What eggman is up to...

Manic: I'm going to signal sonic with my medallion and see if he knows what's going on...

A pony looks at the characters by the fountain. Two ponies, some hedgehogs and a dragon. he stands there as if he is waiting for something.

"Oh, hi Rarity! I ran into this nice hedgehog here, and here's his brother. Spike said something about Sonic in Fillydelphia, but I forgot because I was running in circles. You should ask Rainbow Dash, he's just over there." She nodded her head in the direction of where the blue hedgehog came from and where Rainbow Dash still stood with a strange expression on her face. "I know! We should have a party for Manic and his brother! It would be awesome, and we'd have the first non-pony species in Ponyville!"

Sonic said with a smirk at Rainbow. Rainbow answered back. "Yeah right, half pint. You were behind me coming out of the forest." Dash said to Sonic with a grin of her own. "Well, we'll just have to see about that when we start the race... But not right now." Said Sonic. He turned back to Manic as he was saying that the ponies around him were saying that Sonic was going around destroying cities. "What? That is way uncool. I was with Dash in the forest the whole time and I just got here. This definitely sounds like Eggman's tricks again, just like when I was blamed for stealing the Chaos Emerald when Shadow first arrived." Sonic said to Manic. Sonic remembered that day all too well. Shadow stole a Chaos Emerald from the Station Square Museum under the guise of Sonic, effectively making him a criminal throughout Mobius and now it looked like history was repeating itself.

Sonic looked over at the pink pony as she spoke almost as fast as he could run. "Wow, she sure can run a marathon with that mouth." Sonic thought to himself. Even though she was speaking so fast, Sonic could understand every word she spoke. "A party, huh? That definitely sounds cool to me." Sonic said to the pink pony. He also saw a very prim white-coated pony next to her who just seemed to try to just listen in. "Name's Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog." Sonic said to the two ponies as he struck his trademark pose, which he held a finger out in front of him with a smirk on his face. Sonic looked down as the little dragon was having a small fit. "Whoa, relax little buddy. I'm just as confused as you are. Eggman is an evil scientist looks for nothing more than world domination and he does it by roboticizing the animals in our world and forcing them to work for his uncool empire. That's where me and my friends come in. We're the good guys sent to bring him for ruining our world and kicking his metal butt; not necessarily in that order." Sonic explained to the little dragon. "I gotta say, you're pretty cool for a dragon." Sonic said to the purple dragon.

 

Manic seemed to be opposed to having a party when Robotnik is potentially on the loose. "Don't worry about it, bro. Where there's a Hedgehog, there's a way." Sonic said to Manic. "How about you get started on the party? We have to go look for our friends. We'll be back in a Sonic second. Yo, Dash. Wanna come help?" Sonic said to the pink pony before addressing to Rainbow Dash. "Are you kidding? You guys on a mission to bring down a bad guy? I'm always up for that!" Rainbow said to Sonic extending her hoof out for a bump, which Sonic returned in kind. "Oh, I almost forgot. Have either of you seen a shiny jewel around here shaped like this that glows from time to time? There are several like them and they are really important to me and my friends." Sonic asked the ponies around him using his hands to describe the Chaos Emerald.

Pinkie, her usual self, grinned, the corners of her mouth touching her ears. "I saw a shiny-glamoury thingy in the Canterlot Gardens a few days ago! It was in front of that mean, chocolate rain making monster, I think his name was Discord!" She nodded frantically in Sonic's direction, before rapidly standing up and racing to Sugarcube Corner to prepare for the party.

As Shadow and Omega reached the end of Everfree forest they say a small town, obviously Ponyville. "Well at least we know this place is inhabited." he says "I sense a Chaos Emerald near, like it's in that town. Omega what do your sensors say?" Shadows askes.

Discord decided to have some fun. he detected a robot-like device somewhere. He was able to communicate with him. "Omega, is it? Hi! This is just me saying that you would be the perfect evil henchman! I will give you 50% of the land I acquire when I take over!"

Eggman was becoming livid. "What is Sonic's brother doing here?! He was no where near the portal! This.... Complicates things, but I still have this worlds government on my side." Eggman finishes his thought before turning the feed from his glasses off. He then sit's in a chair provided for him from Celestia to contact his new.... Partner.

 

'Hello, hello Discord. We have a problem....' Eggman began. 'Seems the Hedgehog I mentioned earlier has a few more of his friends here then I was expecting...' Eggman readjusts himself as the chair wasn't to his liking. 'I have a plan, but I need your help to do it, if you complete this plan Discord, we will obtain another Chaos Emerald, and then your that one step closer to becoming free... Understood?'

 

Eggman decided it would be best to stage a diversion. He walked to a secluded part of the castle and reopened communications with Metal.

 

"Metal, this is Dr. Robotnik, your creator. The feed you've provided me with is an excellent advantage to this whole situation. But now we need a distraction. I want you to go back to .... 'Fillydelphia' and pose as a survivor, be the first to incite that Sonic was indeed the one to destroy the city, the rest will follow in their accusations. This is important Metal, the entire plan could be compromised and then that blasted Sonic wins again, and I know you don't want to see that happen. Robotnik out."

Knuckles was getting closer and close to Tails' work shop, but for some odd reason, Tails' hanger door was already open. "What...? This is weird... I didn't know Tails took the tornado out when Eggman wasn't causing trouble..." Knuckles then reasoned that he was mearly doing a performance check on the Tornado of some sort, Sonic probably hitched a ride with him too. "Sure sounds like 'em" Knuckles then began snooping around the inside of Tails' house, trying to see if he had anything he could snack on till they came back.

 

"Hmmmm, I wonder where Tails keeps his food..." Knuckles inquired to himself as he started looking through Tails' cup boards and pantries, looking for something he liked.

"AHHHHH, BIG HUGE METAL MOSTER!" Spike yelled as he saw Omega approaching and ran to hide behind Sonic. He heard Omega's question and answered. "I'm Spike, and what is a Metal Sonic and a Robotnik?" He asked Confusedly as poked his head out from behind sonic.

~Errmm. My personal plan will have to wait.~ Metal thinks. Metal flies off to Fillydelphia and then transforms into a pony he scanned while Metal attacked the city. He walks over to the few survivors. "Who did this?" one askes. "I think it was some kind of monster from the Everfree Forest." another said. "No, I can tell you who did this." Metal says. "It was Sonic. I hear he's an evil hedgehog from some other world that came here to take over Equestria." A unicorn askes, "But what do we do?" Metal thinks and says "A scientist named Robotnik escaped from Sonic's world to help us. But he needs this thing called Chaos Emeralds." Metal explains. "They are the only thing that can defeat Sonic. Please go spread the word about Sonic and the emeralds who knows what he'll do next." As the ponies went off to do what Metal siad he walks away and transforms back into himself. "Lord Robotnik, the ponies believed me, should I head back to your location?" he askes over the communicator.

"Hmmmm...." Eggman looked through his transmission files as he received Metal's communication request, he chose not to answer it. "Oh? Ahha... Good play... E- 123 Omega..." Eggman redirected power from the transmission satellite to focus on Omega. "... But it won't be nearly enough." Eggman then fired a pulse of viruses, static and jamming software directly at Omega's position.

 

Eggman leaned back as he made contact with Discord once more. 'Glad to hear you've accepted my generous proposal. First I need you to send a message to Metal for me, provided you can reach that far with your current power... *Eggman mocked, trying to get under Discord's skin to make him work harder* but if you somehow manage this, tell him to execute plan Delta, Charlie, Gamma. (Return to Möbius, rile up the remaining Sonic team members, take the Master Emerald. Allow them to come through the portal, but with a three day delay.)' Eggman yawned for a moment. 'The next step in my plan is to find out where the Elements of Harmony are and how to use them, you were defeated by those correct?' Eggman snickered to himself. 'Surely you know a thing or two about what they are, right?'

 

Eggman got out of his chair and proceeded to walk to the main throne chamber where Princess Celestia was worrying over the fate of her kingdom.

"I know how you must feel, princess. *Eggman put his hand on Celestia's shoulder(? Or is it a honch?) your kingdom, under attack from an unprovoked source..." Eggman continued, not awaiting a reply. " He is out there still, planning his next move for control, he is also very clever, he knows he is outnumbered... For now.once he's confronted with those that outmatch him he'll attempt to act different, act 'nice'. He's tricked me before with the very same ruse. Princess... *Eggman takes a step back and bows* if there are any Ponies with the power to take him on, please let me meet with them, we have precious little time before his generals inevitably arrive..."

 

Celestia gazed out the window, in the direction of 'Fillydelphia' (can we temporarily control characters who arn't picked yet?)

Discord spit out the tea. "Oh my dear doctor, I do know about those accursed elements. They are owned by these 6 ponies. A purple unicorn named Twilight, a rainbow pegasus named Rainbow Dash, a pink pony named Pinkie Pie, an orange one named Applejack, a yellow pegasus named Fluttershy, and a white unicorn named Rarity. I shall contact "Metal Sonic" right now." Discord changed his communication to Metal Sonic. "This is Discord, Metal Sonic. Eggman said to commence Delta, Charlie, Gamma. Good luck."

Sonic was surprised as the pink pony just mentioned about something shiny over at Canterlot Gardens. "That's gotta be a Chaos Emerald! Where is-" Sonic cut off his question as the pink pony raced off, presumably to prepare the party. "Drat, I guess we'll just to have to juice it on our own." Sonic said aloud. Sonic heard a familiar monotone voice speak out from behind him. Sonic got yet another surprise as the little purple dragon raced behind him out of fear of Omega, who just arrived on the scene along with Shadow. "Yo, Omega. Good to see another friendly face. Well, you really don't have a face, but you know what I mean." Sonic said to the towering robot, E-103 Omega. Sonic looked back to his little friend behind him. "It's alright, little buddy. He ain't gonna hurt anyone here. Go ahead, he won't hurt ya." Sonic listened on as the little dragon introduced himself as Spike, who proceeded to ask what a Metal Sonic and Robotnik is. Before Sonic could answer, Omega played a transmission of Robotnik giving instructions to Metal Sonic to head to Fillydelphia and pose as a survivor to discredit Sonic. "I knew it! Ro-butt-nik is here and he is causing trouble in this world too. Darn it, I can't let him do what he did to Mobius the same here!" Sonic said in frustration. Unfortunately, Omega said that the transmission was sent 15 minutes ago and given that he didn't know where Fillydelphia is and how Metal Sonic is almost as fast as him, he would need to juice it with everything he had without a Power Ring or a Chaos Emerald to give him a boost.

 

When Omega explained to Spike about Eggman and Metal Sonic, Sonic jumped in the convo facing the dragon and the white horned pony who he still doesn't know. "Amy would be quick friends with this pony." Sonic thought to himself. "Take a step back and imagine this. A perfect world; a place where you can kick back and enjoy everything around you. Freedom. Then imagine having all that taken away because one bloated Eggman wanted it all. I'll tell you everything how it got this way back at my world, but first, I gotta go to Fillydelphia and make sure that it doesn't go that way." Sonic said to the group around him. He turned to Shadow and Omega. "Hey Shadow, can you go to the Canterlot Gardens and find the Chaos Emerald there? We have to get those Emeralds before he does. That pink pony said that it was last seen in front of a statue of a monster known as "Discord." Sonic said to Shadow who was just standing by Omega and observing the conversation. Sonic looked towards Rainbow Dash. "RD, can you show me where Fillydelphia is? We need to get there in a Sonic second!" Sonic told the rainbow Pegasus. Rainbow nodded to Sonic. "Yeah, I know where it is. Follow me!" Rainbow Dash said to Sonic before flying off in a boom. "Whoa, talk about speed. She is fast, I'll give her that. Manic, I'm gonna need ya on this one, little bro." Sonic said to Manic before speeding off to catch up to Rainbow Dash, bringing his speed to Mach 4.

Spike walked up to Shadow and held out a claw. "Hi there Shadow, my name is Spike. I was wondering if I could tag along for your adventure. I could help lead you around Canterlot. I used to live there after all, just let me tell Celestia we're coming," Spike said as he got out a parchment and wrote "Good news, Sonic friendly, heading to Canterlot with black hedgehog." Before sending it in a plume of flame.
