You're just being humble. That looks fantastic. Really great job on getting Rarity's hair gradients right - I've heard a lot of artists complaining about those.

 

Also, nice work on getting a Rarity-on-her-couch picture together so soon after episode 3. I loved the moments when she pulled up her couch to fall down onto - it reminded me of the Accio spell from Harry Potter.

Thanks, well i still see a few more mistakes that usual, but that's just me i guess. Just not fully happy with her head, and those straight on angles are really hard to get right in the style i feel.

 

And yea, just love that lounge, its a handy and lovely piece of furniture, i mean its just awesome and fitting for any occasion

I want to draw pony versions of some of my main characters from a series idea of mine. Or with my icon here, I'm thinking of doing some pony centric art with a human character of mine petting one of the main cast.

 

And beyond that, do you take commissions in this thread? I'd love to ask you to do pony versions of some of my work at some point since I'm awfully busy with online class.

 

I read that you can do 3D art... You took 3D animation classes? If so, could you tell me if its best that I stay under 3D animation or go with traditional as originally planned, if you don't mind answering?

Well your work still looks nice, and i could give a few tips in drawing ponies if you wants too.

 

As for commissions, I'm kinda open to taking them, altho i haven't done any yet and so on. But i guess I'm open to offers if you want to make any

 

Well i took on3 3D class when i was studying Game design a bit back, but I'm basically 90% self tough with the help of online resources. Digital Tutor has been the greatest help in that regard so i warmly recomend them if you want to learn 3D, and they have more than just 3D too.

As for traditional i don't know really, sorry.

 

And i don't do vectors, i draw all my art digitally with a tablet. Making pixel based art with paint tool sai, witch is a drawing program designed to draw with a tablet. It handles a lot like Photoshop and you can use Photoshop together with it too, altho it has some functions like stroke smoothing that i just love using when i draw line-work, helps making those smooth clean lines i use.

Finished an other drawing, as part of an art trade.

 

Happy with it, its taken a while as iv had a cold and have trouble focusing on drawing when i have headaches
