I want to get into paintball

As you may know according to the title.I want to get into paintball.Like huge events,ECT.There's a few reasons why I want to

1.A lot of people are involved into a activity.I feel like the 1%

2.I enjoy this kind of stuff,but never had the equiptment

3.I need something to do.I have toooooooooooooooo much spare time

If theres only one thing thats resist me from playing is because of this one video I saw on youtube of a gameplay.People punched,and used vulgar language rather than have fun.So I may want to avoid the try-hard idiots.

 

TL;DR Any one have advice for me to get into this kind of stuff.Like whats the best thing to get,ECT?

My advice is to just dive in, don't worry too much about getting the best equipment, it really isn't that necessary to have great stuff unless you're really a pro. I would start with some pretty cheap equipment that you could probably get for $100-$150 and just find a local paintball place and jump in the first chance you get.

The best advice i can give is to

1) Never buy Armor or anything to shield you from getting hit

2) Get shot, the more you get shot, the more likely you are to learn how NOT to.

3) Don't ever have someone on your team who is lible to accidently shoot you in the back right after you start playing.

4) Just do it, the more you play, the better it gets!
