Well I searched and didn't find a thread for MY FAVOURITE MOVIES OF ALL TIME! Therefore I bring upon you the thread where you can post your opinions on the Saw movies.

In this thread you can state your favourite of the six movies, your favourite machine/trap/murder device from the movie, favourite character, or try to convince me they aren't that good. (P.S. It won't work. ;) )

It's impossible that I'm the only one on the forums who loves these movies.

So for my opinion... My favourite of the six movies was number one because that's where I got my first mind blowing of how elaborate Jigsaw's traps were. At the end when Jigsaw got up and was there all along... That was a total jaw drop moment for me. As for my favourite trap I would have to say the one where Strahm pushes Hoffman into that glass case only to find out that it would have saved him. Also Hoffman was my favourite character.

One of my biggest gripes with the Saw franchise is how it turned from an dark and immersive horror to a movie series for people with gore-fetishes. I liked the first movie, but once the traps got to the point where it is not possible to escape, I was not quite as impressed. I will hand it to the writers however, they do make a compelling story.

Even through all the disturbing traps, the one I cringe at the most to this day still has to be the needle pit in Saw 2.

I love the Saw movies. I have to say 2 was my favorite because the traps in that one were so much cooler then the first, plus I love the ending. I must say, my favorite character is Detective Mathews.

I thought the first one was really good but then it basically went to the same plot points in the sequels. When Jigsaw chooses his next "apprentice" (won't spoil it), that's when I thought the movies got a tad ridiculous.

I'll admit that I might of enjoyed the first entries in the series, but than it tried to get all philosophical. C'mon, I've seen people trying to get human nature lessons from these movies. Something that does not exist in the concept of this movie series at a deeper level.

The Saw franchise is interesting. Jigsaw was actually not your average serial killer. He gave everyone a chance at life through psychological means. I loved the little remixes of "Hello Zepp" at the end of every movie while the plot twist is being shown. My favorite ending would probably have to be the last. Hoffman got what he deserved.

    Hoffman did not deserve that! He was a good guy! He was best killer!

I don't think that Hoffman deserved what he got done to him. He was just doing his job. ;)

It's been so long since I last watched Saw so I honestly don't remember much stuff... But I really enjoyed the movies~

Many people think it's just about gore and suffering that makes you throw up, but really, it's one of the smartest movie series I've ever seen. My favorite one has to be Saw VI and my favorite character of all is Amanda Young.
