Hellcat frowned, "it was probibly an accident." she looked over at bluebell then lifted her too her hooves "i doubt a sweet mare like her would intentionally burn down a house, and mabey it wasnt even her fault, granted i dont know the facts, but she has a sweet personallity to me."

hellcat smiled down at bluebell, "come on, you can stay in my room if you like theirs two beds for whatever reason." she smiled in a friendly manner.

When hellcat said she could stay with her Bell stop crying. "Thanks." She then looked at Marathon and said, "I love you but you went to far this time. I hope you're happy." She then head to the stairs thinking about what just happened. The whole thing continueusly replaying in her head.

A stallion with a jesters hat as a cutie mark appread next to the reception desk and asked what could be done within the hotel for fun. Iron Wing looked at him and answered his question. "Hello there. If you need to relax or want to make a party, upstairs is a dance hall, a lounge and a party room. If you want to hear music, dance and have some cake, you may enter the dance hall, it is designed for many ponies. You can hear loud music there. On the same floor some rooms away there is the party room. There you can dance of course too, but this room is more for the fun parts of a party. We build up different games, you can listen to entertaining music, there is a little banquet where you can eat and there are some seats. If you are more into relaxing, you may enter the lounge. There are soft pillows, seats and a fireplace where you can warm up yourself." she told the stallion.

 

She stopped for a short time to let her words take effect. Then she continued. "The balcony isn´t fully fixed yet, so i ask you not to go to the third floor for your own safey. We are also planning a little maze within the garden of the inner courtyard. Also a spooky tour through the castles dungeon will be ready within a short time. Because i am in charge of the build ups within this castle, i can tell you that some attractions take some time to build up. We also have started to rebuild the outer tower." she finished her little speech.

Jester walked up to the party room to find no one there so he went to the dance room which was also empty so he enjoyed the music with a slice of cake while waiting for some one else to join him.

but after waiting a while he went and checked out the lobby since it was getting rather cold so he went down and warmed up to the fire hoping somepony else would come to join him.

He watched as Bell walked up the stairs still hovering off the ground, "To far, yeah right." He said landing on the floor. He over heard somepony say something about a dance room or something. He litsened for a short while and then saw a new pony walking off. He decided to folow the colt. He saw the colt walkinto a room and folowedd him in after waiting a while. The colt was eating a piece of cake so he glided over to him. "Hi there." He said kind of quiet, not completly sure if he was in the lobby when he yelled at bell.

Hellcat frowned, than shrugged and followed bell, noticing the tears again, "hey, you alright?" she tilted her head as she opened her hotel door, "beacuse you can talk about anything too me, i mean," she blushed "if you want too that is, i can keep secrets as safe as celestias jewel closet."

Bell looked at hellcat as she opened the door. After walking through she sat down and sighed. "Thanks, but see...theres something ive needed to talk to somepony about but didnt know how. You...will help me, right?" She asked with pleading eyes. "Its been happening for a while and its getting harder to handle each time." She got up and started pacing after a moment of silence. "Im starting to worry that he might not be able to controll them anymore. But hes been trying to figure it out. He knows he needs to controll them." She said each sentence getting more frantic. She stoped pacing and hung her head low, "He needs help, and im not enough to do it on my own anymore."

Jester looked at the black pegasus in front of him and said while eating his cake "Hello there what's your name and would you like to dance? or are you just here for the cake?" after a small pause he realized that he forgot to introduce himself.

While putting his plate away Jester said "My name is Jester by the way."

Honey Swirl trotted up to the armored pony. She looked framilar, obviously a member of the royal gaurd. Depending on if she was loyal to Princess Luna, Honey could have trained with her. Her armor wasn't much of a clue, as it was made for a specialized patrol unit. It was much different then her own. ''Thanks,'' she replied, ''I could use some help. Could you tell me where room 40 is? I'm having trouble finding it.'' She smiled at the other mare. Her mother always told her to smile, because if you were happy, others were happy too. She looked cheerily around the room, taking in the details of the stonework.

Even though his ears were still ringing, he could notice some of the others had a high level of tension towards each other.

"I guess I'll just go and sleep it off or something... This ringing can't be good..." he said to himself quietly, but just about high enough for anyone nearby to hear him.

"Off to room 40..." he said as he started walking up the stairs.

hellcat nodded and smiled softly, "of course, ill help you with anything," she sat down and patted bells shoulder, "what is it? what does he need to control?" she tilted her head, very curious and wondering if its like supernatural or just a normal problem.

Iron Wing looked again to the mare she recalled as a soldier from the guard. She asked Iron again where to find her room. Lucky for Iron, the mare knew her room number. She looked around if anypony needed some advice or something like that. But everypony was already minding their own business. "Well..." Iron started, "... now i have the time to help you. Room 40 is upstairs within the first floor. I´ll help you with your luggage." she replied and grabbed everything she could carry. "If you want to follow me please, i will guide you to your room." Iron said with a grin on her face. The other mare had a lovely smile on her face unlike most of the other ponies so far. Iron Wing went to the stairs, waiting for the other mare to join her. "By the way, my name is Iron Wing." she introduced herself.

Bell bit her lip thinking if she should continue talking and decided it was probably best. "What you just saw out there, thats the problem but that one was minor. We dont know what trigers them or how to stop them except for Starfly but shes in Ponyville, and it only works if she is there to help." She said in a low voice. "She says they're mental lock downs, nothing goes in and nothing comes out. Nothing but anger. He will come around eventualy, but right now he just needs to cool off. He may not even remember it ever happening." She sighed. Each time Hellcat patted her back she flinched, she didnt like new ponies making contact with her.

He was a bit confused, "Uhh, dancing? Yeah not my thing." He eyed the cake. "Man that looks good, im gana grab some reall quick." He said quickly flying to the table and getting a slice and going back, "What exactly is your special talent?" He asked noticing jesters cutie mark.

The rain drops slid across the dusty window, drawing a synch of straight lines that more and more brightened the forest outside. Taking the last sip of the tea, the dark figure slowly opens the door. The sign nailed on it read '1' - the very first room of the hundred inside that castle.

 

Slowly moving towards the hallway, unnoticed, in order to to meet with the guests and a certain armored mare, Benjamin Von Dusk, the manager of the Platinum Woods Hotel since its foundation, lifts his snout in the air to demonstrate might, as he reaches close to the stairway and eyes no other than the armored worker.

 

"Iron Wing." Benjamin says, with imposition in his voice. "May I have a word with you?" He concludes, looking over the other guests around the main hall.

Jester sat down and said "Well I'm a clown and I'm weary good at being one if I say so myself." Jester paused a for a second to take a bite out of his cake slice and said "What about you what's your special talent mystery colt?, something to do with bombs I assume."

Marathon chuckled, "sorry, my name is Marathon. But yes though i mostly work with fireworks. On a occasion the construction crews need me to blow a hole in a mointain every so often. Say? Why dont you do one of your things, i could use a laugh right now actualy." He said and then took a bite of his cake. He then remembered Bell, "As a matter of fact im not the only one right now, you know what never mind i have to go." He said leaving the rest of his cake on the table.

 

He finaly made his way to Hellcats room and knocked now nervus.

"Really? I only have my sister, but...were not as close as we used to be." She then heard the knock on the door. She looked at Hellcat, "Thats him, dont act mad when you open the door...if you're going to let him in. He just wants to talk to me." She said a little happier.

Honey Swirl picked up her keys, quickly grabbed the last of her things and trotted over to the blue mare. There was a strange grey stallion standing imposingly next to her. He seemed like the authority type. She smiled politely at him before turning to the mare who called herself Iron Wing. ''I'm Honey Swirl,'' She said, holding out a wing. ''I can take more of my bags if you'd like, you shouldn't have to carry so much.'' This mare seemed nice and Honey wanted to help her all she could. Knowing a nice pony might be beneficial, considering the gloomy stallion surveying the room, and the voices she heard shouting in the halls. This vacation might not be as relaxing as I thought. She hoped some grumpy neighbors would be the worst of her problems.

hellcat nodded, shook her body, releasing most of the stress and slight anger, then smiled, her fangs poking out, as she trotted to the door, opening it with a swish of her horn, "oh, hello marathon, come to talk to bell?" she smiled and stepped out of the way, "shes over there, just be gentle."

He entered his room. He partially opened the window to let the wind in, and closed the curtains, darkening the room.

When he was satisfied with the atmosphere, he nodded and hopped up onto the cloud he had brought along and now moved into a corner away from the door, and fell asleep, hoping that his ears - and tired eyes - would get better...

"Honey Swirl huh? I knew i know you from somewhere. But i couldn´t remember the name." Iron replied to the mare. "Oh, don´t worry too much, i can handle this weight. Usually i work on construction sites all the time. I also do much weight training, so it isn´t that much to handle..." she said to Honey. Then she heard a familiar voice from behind her. She turned around.

It was Benjamin Von Dusk the manager of the Platinum Woods hotel that had spoken to Iron Wing. The military pony turned around to see the manager. As always he had an emotionless and serious look on his face. Iron was never sure if the stallion was even able to smile. He asked her if he could have a word with her. "Of course Sir." she answered with a strict voice. It was the only way to get enough respect from him she thought. "What can i do for you? Do you have another special task for me?" she asked him directly. Of course Iron Wing was working with this pony for a huge amount of time already. She guessed that he was more satisfied if she was talking more precise. He was a bit spooky so Iron Wing always keeped her distance between them. She didn´t know what was running within his mind, but she was sure she didn´t want to know that.

 

Iron Wing had taken this job to have something to do within her free time. She nearly got no payment for this job. Perhaps one of the reasons why Benjamin had chosen her. Or perhaps he was aware of Irons capabilities, but one thing he couldn´t know but only guess... Iron Wing had something in mind that nopony should know. Perhaps Benjamin had a feeling about Iron Wings intentions and that could be the reason why he keeped inspecting her work that much...

When the door opened he expected an angry looking pony but got the oposite. "Uhh, yeah..i did." He said lowering his ears with regret. He entered the room to find Bell sitting away from him. He walked up quietly and sat away from her to give her space and to give him time to gather his thoughts. After a long silence he spoke, "Bell...im sorry for what i did, it was uncalled for." He began. She looked at him and replied. "Its ok, you were not expecting it. I under.."

"No its not ok. They're getting out of hand and im just afraid i might hurt somepony. I know i wont, but what if i do?"

She smiled at him and walked over to him. "You're not. You just need to tell everypony about them. Im sure they'll understand."

He looked at her for a while. "Bell, you cant be with me anymore. Atleast not until i figure out how to controll them." He said with regret. She looked at him with worry, "So youre saying you're breaking up with me."

"Kind of. Yeah." He said looking away. There was a long silence between the two. Bell finaly broke it after a while. "I think you should go."

He looked at her but she had her back to him. He decide to get up and leave. When he got out of the room he closed the door and said under his breath, "what the buck is wrong with me?"

As soon as the door close she began to quietly cry hopeing Hellcat wouldnt see her. After a few minuets she began to hold in her tears until she stoped crying. She was strong, and nopony will break her down like this again.

'' Oh, sorry. It just looked like you needed some help.'' Honey pulled her wing back, slightly embaressed. It was obvious that Iron Wing was stronger than most pegasi. Honey Swirl remembered seeing her weight training back in Canterlot.. Ah well, she probobly won't remember anyways. Still, she hoped she hadn't hurt the other mare's feelings by implying that she looked weak.

 

She turned to look towards the pony that had been adressed as 'Sir'. So he was someone important, maybe another member of the gaurd? She studied him, looking for any resemblance to anyone she knew of. There was none. Not that it surprised her, meeting two gaurds in the same hotel would have been creepy. Not that this place was cheerful.. but the stonework was beautiful, and there was a charming statue placed in the lobby. A little more light and this place would be this years top getaway. The massive chandeliers hanging from the vaulted ceiling gave off a nice yellow glow, but it felt slightly... dark? Haunted? It felt off, but Honey couldn't quite pin point it. The hotel was definitly big and spacious, with lots of windows, pictures and furniture. At least in the lobby, she hadn't seen the rest yet. Hopefuly her room had a nice bed, she felt a little tired after her flight from Old Canterlot, where she was positioned at the time.

Jester stood up thinking no one else was going to come by anyway.

He walked towards the hallway to get to his room he opened the door and went to his bed.

Jester turned on the radio for some music when he just had turned on the radio he saw it, it was a bee.

Terrified Jester screamed and ran out of the room.

Benjamin kept scanning the hall. Apparently, Iron Wing was helping a pegasus mare with her luggage. In fact, for the whole time Benjamin was absent, the iron worker has been helping each of the guests. That must have been exhausting. Perhaps Iron Wing was doing a more than descent job, but that wasn't exactly what he wanted to talk about. After all, he wouldn't show satisfaction so easily.

 

Benjamin moved a step closer to Iron Wing. staring at her with the same blank, yet serious expression as always. "It's getting dark outside. Make sure each of these ponies stay quiet inside their respective rooms. Or else, they might get bothered." Benjamin gave Iron Wing a last menacing look. Then, he glanced towards the stairway, raising his ears to a sound coming from upstairs.

 

Terrified Jester screamed and ran out of the room.

 

"Hear that? This is what I'm talking about."

Iron Wing knew what the manager wanted. Some strange things were happening in the evening and Benjamin probably did want to everypony within a safe zone. But both, Iron and Benjamin knew that it would be difficult to keep the ponies within their rooms. Especialy because there was no rule against walking through the castle at night. "Um... Sir? I doubt that we can keep the guests in their room, but i think we can be sure that in the evening nopony will leave the castle." she said to Benjamin with a damped voice. Then she heared a scream. "Well, i guess i´ll have a look at that..." she replied to Benjamins last comment.

Iron Wing turned to Honey Swirl. "Well Miss Swirl, let´s bring your luggage upstairs." she said while lifting the big bags. She went upstairs without losing any speed. She stepped up the stairs like a amored knight, her metallic hoove steps were heard within the hall. Iron Wing loved her hoove protectors. With proud and strength she arrived the first floor. Somepony was running out of his room. It was the pony named Jester. Honey Swirls room wasn´t to far away so Iron Wing would have the change to investigate a bit. She turned around looking to Honey with a little smile on her face. "If you would follow me please, we´ll arrive soon at your room."
