I'm not familiar with what exactly a "desktop pony" is.. Although I know I've heard that a number of times before.. Do you mean like a desktop background? Like a MLP/Jeff wallpaper kind of thing??

A desktop pony is something that's an animated sprite with interactions. It's like a Shimeji.
