writing A holloween moon Part one

It seemed as if any other night, for it was like any other. A moon gracefully arced round about the sky. Shadows danced about, covering half the earth. Leaves were blowing and shking maddeningly alongside the wind. Yes, this was the set condition of this night, and it was uniform throught the lands.

The moon bathed an eerie light upon everything in it's gaze. This moon, a whole, perfectly round, illuminated the night sky. The full moon was at it's peak. The light it created shown brightly, and all could see the orb in the sky. And upon one street, much like many other streets, the moon shined also. Victor street.

It was the eve of holloween night, and all of the children in the village were waiting in awe for their favorite of candy gatherings. Yes, tomorrow they would reap the benefit of sweets or indulge themselves in a trick or two. It was truly a more festive time, decorations upon all the houses and oh so many people awaiting eagerly for just one more night. Little Edward Bennet, or "Eddie" as he prefered to be called, was among the children who imaptiently awaited Holoween. He was oh so very excited, for this year he would finally be able to Trick or treat all on his own. He was proud of this, after all, he was certain that ten year olds were able to take care of themselves. Of course, his parents had thought otherwise. They weren't so easily swayed on the matter. In fact, it had taken little Eddie quite some time to "assure" to his parents that he was up to it. They had reluctantly agreed after listening to his constant complaining on the subject.

Yes, Little Eddie was awaiting very patiently, and tomorrow he would finally get to wear the scary ghost costume that he had gotten. He was sure that with ithe could get enough candy to last him months. He bit his lip from anticipation. The thought of all the candy was a welcoming thought, and it got him wondering just what kind of candy he would get. While he pondered this, he ghazed up at the full moon from inside his bedroom by his window.

Also looking up at the full moon on this dreary night, was a being in the shadows. His features were barely visible amongst the darkness. This being stood almost motionless for what seemed like a few hours. Then, with no warning, he suddenly turned sharply on his heels and walked off into the pitch black.
