gaming Does anyone think the wii u will live up to the hype?

I just think with major releases, most things don't live up to the hype and demand of said thing. COUGH* DUKE NUKEM, MASS EFFECT 3* *COUGH* I'm not bagging on the wii u or anything, but I just don't think that it will be as good as people say.

I think it will do well, of course people tend to over hype things, Wii U seems to have been delivering for reviewers so i guess we will see how things turn out.

I personally don't think it'll do very well. It just seems unnecessary. I feel like they're just trying to make money by combining 2 things that already exist--the DS and the wii. It just seems pointless. But it is Nintendo, so I'll give it a chance.

No the wii u is the biggest mistake that nintendo has ever made. The core gamers that wanted to play assasins creed or batman bought an xbox long ago and the older people that the wii reached have long forgot about the system and would be completly off put by the complex touch controls lack of family freindly games and EXPENSIVE price tag
