    I just think with major releases, most things don't live up to the hype and demand of said thing. COUGH* DUKE NUKEM, MASS EFFECT 3* *COUGH* I'm not bagging on the wii u or anything, but I just don't think that it will be as good as people say.

    Torterra was insanely useful in pearl/diamond/platinum because he could also learn ground moves and be a walking tank. But the others (piplup, chimchar) were not as useful, but i still kept them in my party because it felt right. Just like venasaur and sceptile.

    I've always used my starter throughout the whole game because I thought it was necessary. To not use your starter seems odd and weird to me. I know that my charizard can be replaced with a dragonite because i have an arcanine, but for some reason i can't bring myself to put charizard in the box.

    Nidoking is a pokemon i get all the time. He is basically a hoss on everything, he can learn ground moves (fuck poison types), and basically just looks awesome. Arcanine is badass too though. I always evolve my growlithe at level 31 because he knows fire spin

    my favorite pkm has gotta be... . this muhfucka right here...people underestimate him, but hyper fang (learned at level 15) is badfuckingass and it can basically learn any type of move out there...I remember one-hit ko'ing brocks, misty's and surge's pkm with this badass

    Oh I thought you meant that they made a G/S/C 2 or something other than soul silver and heart gold lskdjflskjdflsdjf torchic, mudkip, treeko > snivy, oshuwatt, and the other and those games were NOT overrated. Those pokemon were better than any pokemon today x3. They have just run out of ideas. Black 2 and White 2 will probably be the most overrated and unoriginal pokemon games. I remember the good old days when my friend would buy one version and I would get the other just so we could complete our pokedexes...now he doesn't buy pokemon anymore and neither do I...Life was simpler then...

    There are tutorials on how to move and navigate menus when you are starting a new game. And pretty much every pokemon design is bad from diamond and Pearl->Black and White I don't see how he took it out of context...The comic made me lol and you just come onto the pokemon topics to nerdrage.

    You guys know I don't include Gen V because I don't know them, not because I don't like them. Gotta Be: Swampert lvl 70 Swellow lvl 67 Flygon lvl 70 Salamence lvl 72 Pikachu lvl 66 Poochyena lvl 67 I know these because I was reading them off from my old emerald game.

    While these games do look epic, I am just not looking forward to the release. Simply put, pokemon was a huge staple in my childhood, and my first Pokemon game was Crystal, even though I was born in 1997. Over the years, I have just seen pokemon decline, and the latest version I own is Pearl. So, a new pokemon game that uses the same region with nothing new is not really a big whoop for me. Now, if GameFreak ever decides to make Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire again, I would happily buy both...I just hope they don't add any other words to the title..SoulSilver, FireRed.... wait, G/S/C didn't have a DIRECT sequel...

    Pokemon was pretty much the staple of my childhood. I played and beat at least one game from every generation up to Gen V. I even beat crystal with a level 90 Typhlosion and used the other six in my party just to use revives on it. Kingdom hearts was also a huge staple in my childhood and I really and truly cannot wait for KH3...KH: Dream Drop Distance is going to suck though

    I'm not saying here that they should make a remake only of Emerald. They did kinda the same thing with GSC, Crystal was sorta a joint thing combining silver and gold, and Emerald was pretty much joining Sapphire and Ruby. I see them making a remake of Sapphire and Ruby before they do anything with emerald. Pokemon was a huge part of my childhood, and I asked a kid in WalMart playing pokemon if he liked Charmander, Squirtle, or Bulbasaur better...he had no idea what i was talking about...GameFreak needs to stop making new pokemon and go back to the original 150.

    it being for the 3ds would be the stupidest thing GameFreak has ever done. Make it for the DS, and hell, maybe even the Gameboy SP, but NOT for the 3ds! I like that you brought up the point of the gap though! Nopony has talked about the things they liked in the Hoenn region...

    meh, i kinda liked the cartoony style of the game, and making it into an all 3d game just wouldn't feel like the same game i played and finished 5 times when i was 9.
