Somehow, Esme and Draco flew at an amazing speed and passed up Cloid just before she crossed the line. " NO!" Cloud yelled as she realized she placed third. "Good race, you two. It was pretty amazing how fast you went just to catch up and pass" she said to Esme and Draco.

"Well, it's about time somepony showed up." Star Keeper trotted up to meet the exhausted pegasi. He was amazed a how many familiar faces there were, but he decided it was best to leave them be. "Nice work guys. Little technical development needed, but other than that a decent effort." Did I just sound smug? Oh well.

Esme slid past the finish line. A close second. "Yeah, yeah, good race." she replied to Cloud Puff. "But now NEITHER of us are going to get those bits. Thanks a lot... Uh... What's your name again?" Esme cocked her head at the pony in front of her, the one who one the race.

Cloud heard a familiar voice. "Star Keeper.." Cloud mumbled to herself as she shot a menacing glare in his direction. She decided she would not talk to him unless he asked her a question, and the answer would be short.

Yavolin decided to leave Rainbow dash alone for a second he went up to Esme to talk to her for a second he knew it had been awhile scents the dance but everything changed scents then he knew how he felt towards her but he couldn't think about that right now.

Draco handed Esme the bag of diamonds but kept the bits for himself "It's Draco and second place should get something for her hard work so here is your reward" Draco said as he looked at Esme then looked to Ranbow Dash "Ah I know you I once delivered a package to you. It was front row seats to a Wonderbolts show wasn't it. And it was from a secret admirer" Draco laughed aloud then winced when his wings throbbed slightly "ow ow"

Esme's eyes twinkled. "Tha-tha- thank you so much, Draco..." She hugged the bag slightly, then looked back at the giver. "Oh, are you ok? I-if you want, I could take you to my friend, Eldrich. She's pretty good with medicines, and things like that. In fact, when I first met Yavolin over there, she fixed up his wing, temporarily."

Star Keeper trotted up to Cloud noticing she was still tired from the race. "Impressive. I haven't seen you fly like that before." He gave an awkward smile, attempting to avoid eye contact. "How have you been? Are you still with Sky?" That was probably a bad way to start off, but what was he going to do?

"I'm tougher than I look I go through walls all the time when I make my deliveries ask anyone of my customers just give me a day and I'll be fine. Word of advice never use a tornado to suppliment your speed" Draco said as he laughed. He stuck his wings into the clouds and let the water vapors cool the throbbing muscules in his wings. "that feels good," Draco said as he laid onto the soft clouds. He yawned slightly "oh sorry didn't get much sleep lately ever since that Changeling invasion last month I've been sent from Ponyville where I live to Canterlot helpping out repairing the damages"

"well that was a good race without me" Electro said, clearly talking to herself. "Well, i guess it's time to make friends." She looked at the ponies around her. Everypony was talking to everypony, so she interupted the nearest one. who were trading bits.

"Hey," she said, "not meaning to interupt but I'm Electro Dash."

"Oh, ok." Esme said, turning around. "Guess I'll be seeing you in trai-" she cut off, before she bumped into Electro Dash, and jumped up literally 2 feet. "Eep! Oh, my Celestia, Electro-I can call you Electro right? You startled me. Thank Cloudsdale it's not Slendermane!"

Draco looked at Electro and said "Hello miss Electro I am Draco O'mally of O'mally delivery services nice to meet you and you know that was alittle rude of you interupt me when I'm speaking the last pony who did that got a rabbid squirrel on his face. I think his name was prince Blue bell, blue blood oh yes prince blue blood. I also do pranks so watch out" Draco smiled slightly.

"hehe, Yeah it was a little rude wasn't it? Well i will need somepony to talk to here. And Cloud chasers conversation seemed arkward." Electro was embarresed for walking in on there conversation, but what else was she to do? there was nopony else to talk to.

Yavolin walked right to Esme."Hi, Esme how have you've been doing"? Yavolin was thrilled to see her but he kept all to a minimum because he actually liked Rainbow Dash but he decided to keep quiet about that the only one who knows that is Draco , but a lot has happen scents then.

"Thanks. When you Storm chase a quarter of the year, you gotta know how to fly fast and careful. I've been good, keeping up with local weather. I haven't seen Sky in a while.... Thanks for asking." Cloud replied, surprised at how much she said to him. " How have you been? Seen Celestia lately?"

"Heh, not really. I never really saw her often even when I was in Canterlot." Things went better than expected. Cloud seemed to be very welcoming. Star hadn't really expected that, let alone the fact she asked a question in return.

 

"I-I, um. Well... so what happens now? Do we wait for the trainers, or do we just go?."

"Oh, hi, Yavolin. I've been doing fine. What about you? How's your wing feeling?" Esme shifted uncomfortably. "Well, this is a bit awkward..." she thought. "Soooo... You have a girlfriend? The dance was a long time ago, you know?"

Yavolin replied."I didn't have time for one Esme i mean really who wants to go out with a Pegasus with a bum wing"? Yavolin said that real low so Rainbow dash couldn't hear or at less any pony for that matter, but still the thought of him not being able to be an normal Pegasus troubled him.

Esme's left ear perked up at the sound of her name. She turned around and started walking towards Cloud. "Sorry, Yavolin. I gotta go." the blue pony said over her shoulder. "What about me? You said something about me. Or, at least, I THINK you did. You said my name. What do you want?"

"I'm sorry. Um, do you think we could start over?" That works. Star Keeper raised a hoof as to properly greet her. "Hi, I'm Star Keeper." This is getting a bit awkward for my tastes. Abandon Ship?

If that's okay with you, which I'm sure it is." Cloud said back. "Hyper, much? You sound like Pinkie Pie when Twilight first came to town."

'Well, damn. That's okay, you knew that was going to happen. Keep calm and trot on.' Star Keeper regained his composure and looked around to see what was happening. 'Well, I could talk to- no, no. Can't talk to them, they hate me. Oh, I could talk to- nope, they still don't like me. Ugh, this is going to be harder than I thought'
