Descant sighed, and touched Star Song's hoof, attempting to comfort her. "It's just a party game, there's no real harm done. Don't let it upset you like this. Alright? You don't have to play if you don't want to." Then he added, in a lower voice so nopony else could hear, "I'm not sure I want to play either, to be honest."

Joining the circle before the game began, he sat next to Cloud Puff, only half-voluntary, and looked around the circle. "Hola, everypony, it is finally nice to get a chance to learn your names! Me llamo El músico," he said, before translating in case nopony understood what he had said. It was first nature to always say his name in Spanish, including the beginning, but he said, "My name is El músico, which also means The Musician."

String Strung heard about something they were playing, she decided to suck up her problem and went down to the lounge, she saw that Star Keeper was hosting it, "I'm sorry about what I did back there... also, what's this game were playing? I'm curious... you know that?" she said to Star Keeper

"El músico, gusto en conocerlo." Star spun the bottle on the edge of his hoof.

 

As soon as Star heard String come down the steps he steeped back into reality. Was he really abut to start an intimate party game with a bunch of ponies, most of which he didn't know, defying every element of his own personality?

 

'I told you you would regret it. No turning back now.'

 

"Strung, yes, well I was just starting up a small party game. It involves spinning and bottles; care to join." He prayed to Celestia she would say no. "Krystal, Sky, care to join?"

"So you're saying you forgive me? I'll think about playing the bottle game..." she said to him "Screw it, I'll just play to punish myself for what I done..." she said to herself as she was thinking whenever to play or not. "Okay, I'll play..." she said, and went into the circle.

[Krystal 1,468]

"What is it? Spin the bottle? Umm, sure. Come on Sky." she held his hoof as they sat down next to each other in the circle that was forming on the floor around the bottle. She scooted up close to Sky and wrapped a hoof around his back. She wanted be closer but she was trying to be as nonchalant as possible. She looked around at the other ponies and wondered what they thought of them or what they might have thought had happened back up on the roof...

Star Smiled at Descant. "I just had a rather bad experience with this game as a filly... I don't plan on having it happening again." She said, Staring at the bottle on the ground. "But you can still play, I bought my music catalog with me, so I can just flip through that."

(Okey Dokey, this is kinda how I worked it out. I have a lovely name randomizer on standby which I shall enter each of your names into. Anypony who wants to can spin and I'll post the results on the OCC. I'll spin once to select the first person and then again to select the second. Once I've done that feel free to write the rest yourselves. Let's get started. Oh, and if you don't want to be involved, please let me know so I don't impute your names, except for Flame Dancer, I already know about you.)

 

"Okay, let's get started then." Star Keeper placed the empty glace bottle in the middle of the circle, toying with it for bit. "Everypony ready?"

"Oh. Okay." Descant chooses not to pursue the subject, and instead pulls his notebook out of his pack. "Here, would you care to take a look at this? I've been working on this composition for a while. I don't think it would compare to Octavia, but..." He trails off slightly, clearly doubting himself again.

 

He jumps and glances over at Star Keeper. "Hold on, I'm coming," he said. Descant thrust the notebook into Star Song's startled grip and rejoins the circle.

"So,.. Are we going to start? We have plants playing now!" Cloud said eagerly. She couldn't wait for Star to spin the bottle. *I wonder what Sky and Krystal would think if I ended up kissing Sky.. Or what Star Keeper and Sky would think if I ended up kissing Star...*

Star let the bottle spin across the floor. The smooth surface seemed to give it extra speed. But slowly it came to a sure halt, aimed in the direction of one certain colt.

 

"Decent, looks like you got luck, or unlucky. Depends on who's next." Star gave a wicked grin, one he had not attempted till now. "Let's go again."

"Sí, amigo." It was good to see somepony with a good Spanish vocabulary, so he replied smoothly his native language. "Listo cuando estás." Not sure if he understood, he silently coughed and replied once more, "Ready when you are, my friend." He leaned in toward the bottle, ready to see it spin.

 

It landed on Descant, a colt, which left him safe, unless they played with rather vicious rules, where, no matter what gender, they would have to kiss... He silently prayed to The Almighty Dios and waited for it to be spun.

The bottle stopped once again, this time pointing at the pony who had just finished speaking. "I don't know how to say this, but parece que hay que darle un beso."

 

Star Keeper slumped back after speaking, deciding it was best to keep out of whatever happened next.

"Al infierno con Dios," he mumbled, before he looked uncomfortably at Descant and Star Keeper. "¿Debo hacerlo?" He huffed, before continuing, "tendrá que pagar por esto, mi amigo." He looked back at Descant and decided not to move to see how he would react, in case he completely and utterly refused.

She felt herself shaking, "Okay, calm yourself I'm only one of 1 of 6 people who are playing, chances are that I may or may not be having the bottle point at me... Just hope it picks me and somepony good and not... well I know my tastes..." she thought as ​she waited for the bottle to spin again after the bottle pointed at the Spanish pony...

Descant similarly hesitated, looking at the spanish pony, who also had a look of disdain on his face. Directing his words so Star Keeper could not hear, Descant said, "Parece que somos de la misma opinión, mi amigo. Prefiero no besar a otro semental si podía evitarlo. ¿Usted no sólo quiere jugar esta ronda?"

El músico was relieved that Descant was of the same thoughts. He whispered back, so nopony, like he had spoken, heard. "No quiero jugar esta ronda bien. Creo que debemos decir lo que no queremos. ¿Quieres decirle o debo?" He stayed in the same position to hear the reply.

Descant could tell that El Músico was surprised that Descant shared his native tongue, albiet secondhand, but he didn't let it show. Descant responded, "No te preocupes, nadie nos puede escuchar en estos momentos. Es mi magia. Pero estoy de acuerdo, vamos a decirle lo que es, ¿de acuerdo?"

"I think I can understand what you're hinting, same gender and all. Let's just move on then." Star Keeper passed the bottle to Krystal. "I think it would only be fair if you started off this round. Being the host and all that."

Star flicked her magazine and said. "Puedo aquí." She flipped a page and continued reading. "Exactly why I do not want to play... I dont plan on kissing Krystal, She is my friend and that is it." She thought, Reading about the prices for electric hammered dulcimer's

El músico looked startled at Star Keeper. "You couldn't have possibly listened to what we said! His magic made our conversation incomprensible to everypony around us!" Turning back to Descant, he said, "No sabe lo que está hablando. A su última pregunta, estoy de acuerdo."

"Let's just assume that I don't need to hear you say it, just how you look. I think it would be best to move on." Star Keeper took a moment to thank the fact he could at least read pony body language. Good fun.

 

"Let's just hand this over to Krystal." He rolled the bottle over to the white mare. "Your turn."

Descant looked at el Músico, just as baffled. "¿Algunos ponis saben leer los labios?" He suggested weakly. "The spell worked. It definitely did. Ah well. At least don't have to do it. Oh, and I suppose you're curious... I had to go to Esponia once to fill in for a horribly sick national choir member there. I was visiting for several months. The language is kinda rusty by now, but..."

"Todavía puedo oír." She said again, Smiling at Descant and El Musico. "My father taught me several different languages... He spent allot of his younger year's traveling outside of Equestria... anyway, Sorry for interrupting." She said, Looking back at her magazine.

Krystal took the bottle and spun it. It landed on String Strung. Krystal looked at her and smiled "Now let's see who the lucky stallion is..." she winked and spun again "or mare..." the bottle slowed until it landed on Descant. Krystal leaned back onto Sky like the back of a chair "This should be interesting..."
