How different might results be if I ask the same question, but count the votes differently.Just for fun, please rank your options for these questions from best to worst and I'll tally the results. Please list every option or I won't count the vote. Have fun, and may the best win!If you're curious how I'm tallying the results, see the spoiler below: The three methods of counting will be First Past the Post, Borda Count, and Instant Runoff. First Past the Post is simple. The option with the most votes wins. This is what you would typically see in modern-day elections Borda Count is a rankings-based vote, where the option with the most total points wins. Basically, the #1 option will get more points than the #2, #3, et cœtera...Instant Runoff declares the winner based on a general consensus. Everyone's first options are counted to see who has the most votes. At this point, the option with the smallest number of votes is eliminated and its voters' second favorite choices are added. The process continues until there is only one option remaining. (There are methods that would make it so you don't have to do that, but it gets very complicated for the vote-counter!). Maybe you could imagine it's some kind of election and make tactical votes, depending on who you would least want to win. Or you could just leave it blank. That's fine too. I'll count your other votes! On #4, you listed Las Pegasus twice! Second time this has happened... To everpony else, thanks for voting! It's getting interesting to see how the results come in. If you'll notice, the results DO differ based on the counting method, but only in a few close races. Keep 'em coming, please!
