New OC vector

Well I made a new OC, I decided to do a vector and whatnot.  So here is my new OC, making a mark related to art.  He will be a pegasus.  Any name Ideas?

What kind of personality will have? From his looks I'm guessing he will be a driven, fast-flying pegasus? If that's the case, my recommended name would be "Jet Streak."

Yeah that's what it's going for, and sweet I like that name so I'll name him Jet Streak then Thanks for that idea on his name.

Now I just have to make a full body.

I was thinking more in the lines of "Jet Stream" mostly because he looks like he can blow away the competition and continuously do so :3

 

Also, I love the color of his mane, it looks really awesome :3

Thanks! Actually that's pretty good too... hmmm decisions.  Yeah, now I'm just trying to get a full body going on him.  That might take another few hours

 

Ended up finishing the OC tonight, I will go with Jet Stream as his name.  I may or may not redo him, I wasn't quite pleased with proportions and some lines that went out of wack, but here is what I have for the final product.

Hai there!

 

The initial design looked awesome, in the kind of way that non-artists like me just look at it and go, "Welp, that's undescribably incredible. Now i'm going to have to describe it. How?"

 

I really do like the full body design; most of it is epic! However, a few specific things that I feel like would make it even moar epicer:

-The lines on the front-right leg could be rounded more and a teensy bit darker.

-The front-right leg itself could be a bit thicker, closer to the body.

 

Negatives aside, looking at that last picture I just wanted to say how awesome and unique the mane style is, and I really like the subtle addition of the pencil behind the ear.
