Would you find the show more interesting with an actual storyline?

I don't care either way, but that's something difficult to do when the main target audience lacks an attention span. If they ever come to that, to the very least they should follow the example of Adventure Time. Keeping the overarching storylines to a minimal in-between episodes, and than capitalizing.

While I like the idea of a story line in the series I can't deny this nagging feeling I have.

I think a story line that connects each episode to episode might go out of place of what made freindship is magic great.

I like the two part season beginnings and ends, but if we were to change the format of the show into a story, it may stray away from its natural element.

Some thing I would like to see however and may work in as a storyline like some people want is to have a two-part story episodes in between the season's beginning and end. Some cartoons had a way to begin and end the series, but they also sometimes had specials in the season itself.

This is just my opinion and my opinion alone.

I Think it would be cool if they did something like Teen Titans, where each episode is it's own story, yet also contains a piece of a larger story that is payed off in the finale of each season.

The current formula seems to be working out fine.  The regular single stand alone episodes are good. They allow a new viewer to jump in and start watching at any time without needing to know what happened in prior episodes.  The more earth shaking and life changing stuff goes into the multi-parters at either end of the season and long time viewers still get a very good sense of progression and an overall storyline.
