Descant made to extend his own hoof to shake with Short Fuse when Short Fuse ran off, leaving him hanging. He couldn't help chuckling.

Rag and Tag had finished stretching, were now wearing their outlandish clown outfits, and were simply awaiting their turn to go on.

Electro Dash was a little puzzled when Short Fuse went off as she turned her head "guess he had something to do. Well it appeares they've started the main event. Wanna tag along Rockie? Or am I tagging with you two?" she shrugged at her own question "they're both the same option really."

"Uh... I'm... Fine with it... D-Descant? You're fine with it?", she nervously asked, beginning to enter her panicked mood again.

 

Fuse stood inside, looking at the other performers. He was starting to get scared...

Flame finished his act with the usual flip off the wheel. He bowed and trotted of stage. He was taking the straps off his wings when he noticed Short Fuse in the corner of the room, Looking rather nervous.

"Hey Fuse." He smiled and trotted over. "You nervous ?" He asked.

"Uh... I'm... Fine with it... D-Descant? You're fine with it?", she nervously asked, beginning to enter her panicked mood again.

Descant shrugged. "Sure. Lets all go together. Why not?" 

 

It didn't seem either mare seemed too pleased about the arrangements, but... He didn't want to offend either of them, which was strange... Considering that Rockshire hadn't spoken with him for months, until today...

 

He led them into the main circus tent, and started towards the same seats he and Dash had occupied yesterday...

 

Flame finished his act with the usual flip off the wheel. He bowed and trotted of stage. He was taking the straps off his wings when he noticed Short Fuse in the corner of the room, Looking rather nervous.

"Hey Fuse." He smiled and trotted over. "You nervous ?" He asked.

As Flame Dancer walked offstage, Rag and Tag went on, as they had yesterday. This time, the order was somewhat different; Instead of balancing on the ball, Tag was balancing Rag on his shoulders, as Rag attempted to balance the ball on her nose. As always, another clown tripped them, and the three engaged in a comical Three Stooges-esque fight.

Descant shrugged. "Sure. Lets all go together. Why not?"

Chamois couldn't stop herself from blushing.  "S-sure.  Maybe," she said.  She watched him walk off.  She pulled her berette down lower.  Stop blushing, Chamois.  Chamois didn't really know if she still was or not, so she rose her head and looked towards the stage.  Hope it's not a long wait.

Dash didn't seem to be fully appreciating the show... Descant knew it was Rag and Tag on, and he'd inquire why once their act was over. As soon as that thought formed coherently in his mind, Rag and Tag departed the stage. He sighed, and nudged the disgruntled pegasus with his hoof. "Hey, Dash... Is everything alright?" His voice reached her ears, and her ears alone...

(Only Dash can hear Descant talking. But his horn is glowing faintly, and his lips are moving. Same will go for Dashie.)

 

 

Rag and Tag rolled off of the stage in a tumble, third clown with them, and the three landed in a pile just out of sight of the audience. The three picked themselves off the floor, dusted themselves off, and the third nodded at them and set off as they made their own way to their changing room.

Rockshire was mainly looking down at the ground when she sat next to Descant, becoming a bit nervous. Seeing that Electro Dash was still here made her feel even more uncomfortable than what she needed to be at this point. She tried to calm herself by watching the clowns do their act.

 

((OOC: When will this be over? I want to know before Fuse gets on stage for his act.))

Fuse looked over to Flame, a bit scared. "Yeah... Kinda. They have me doing this weird act... Kind of gross..."

Electro Dash was caught by suprise when Descant interupted her thoughts about the mares jealousy. He seemed to know when something was up with her, then again it was always so obvious.

"uuh, yeah. Yeah everything is ok. Why'd you ask?" She said nervously.

"Well... I'm doing pull-ups with my horn bone. Don't ask me how, but it's a bit weird... I saw your performance earlier, and I gotta say. That was amazing. I had no idea someone could survive that much going through fire.", Fuse replied in his same old, emotionless tone.

"Its not weird, I think you'll do fine." He said, Smiling.

"And fire has never really scared me...The trick is to relax, If you're scared of it than you will probably burn yourself. But if you relax and know that you can control it, than its like playing with a beach ball." He chuckled. "Alright, I am meeting Rag at my friends music performance. When you finish your act feel free to stop by. I'll catch ya later." And with that, He trotted in the direction of his change room.

Descant gazed at Dash, concern flashing behind his eyes. "You just seem... preoccupied. You've not been enjoying the circus as much as before." His horn still glowed faintly, keeping their conversation private.

 

Rag and Tag had finished with their business in their dressing room, and had taken to lounging about in the room with the entrance to the performance area.

"No, no really. Its- its fine." Electro Dash sighed. "it's Rockie. She seems like the jealous type. Now obviously you knew her because you talked to her earlier on as if you knew her. But she seems like the kind who would do anything to get what they want. She doesn't, like you know, care for you does she?"

When Flame finished changing he trotted down the hall to look for Rag.

"There you are." He exclaimed, Smiling at Rag and walking over. "You ready to see the show ?" He asked.

 

 

Diamond was still sitting in the audience. She clapped happily when Rag and Tag finished their act.

Descant nodded slowly, a puzzled look on his face. He was thinking.

 

"She... Might like me. I'm not sure. But I don't think you really need worry about competition." He smiled at Dash, winked, and returned his attention, for the moment, to the show.

Rag grinned, and nodded enthusiastically, but Tag, who was sitting next to her, asked, "There's a show tonight? What?"

Flame nodded. "Yea, My friend Dusk is one of the musicians and he and a few others are playing some music...Afterwords there's a firework show as well." He smiled. "You should take your marefriend." He said.

 

 

When the show finished Diamond stood up and flew towards the backstage entrance to see Tag.

Electro Dash faintly smiled "i know." as she put her hoof onto his. When she turned her attention to the stage, she realised the Freak Show had started. She lay her forehead on the seat in front.

"i'm not watching the freak show it is a way to insult others and i despise that."

Tag nodded, grinning, and got up to follow Flame and Rag out of the tent. When he got outside, he looked around. "Maybe she stayed to watch the next few acts..." he muttered to himself. "When's the performance?" He asked Flame Dancer, who was still nearby, as Rag had hung back with her twin, for the moment.

Descant smiled as he held her hoof. "Do you want to leave early?" He wouldn't really mind, and she hadn't really been paying attention the whole time anyways...

Electro Dash sighed from the chair. "No no. I'm just going to pass this one over. It's only the second or third event out of them all anyway." she pulled her head up a bit lazily. "ill just pay attention after the mocking has stopped and they bring the next act on."

When Diamond got to the backstage entrance a pony stopped her, saying only performers are allowed backstage. Diamond nodded and made her way out of the mane entrance of the tent.

Chamois watched the other's performances.  She recognized a few.  She didn't enjoy the show very much.  Chamois pursed her lips together and took out her sketch book again.  She breathed a sigh and flipped to an empty page.  She took out a pencil and began to sketch.

Short Fuse only sighed as he walked into a darkened part of the ring. Setting up on the small podium he was provided, he tied a rope around the bone, steadying himself on a stool. Once the spotlight had started shining on him, he kicked the stool off, and hung from the rope. Slowly, he maneuvered up and down on the rope thanks to the power of his bone. Throughout the next 5 minutes, he had done so many amazing tricks, the crowd was literally left speechless ass he walked off.

Dusk saw Flame Dancer and Rag leaving the largest tent where they both performed. "Just in time," he thought, and then all of the band members took their positions on stage. They played a little fanfare as the couple walked toward the stage. As the performance began, Dusk gave a little nod towards Chamois. He was cheerful, playing for his friend, but with his mind focused on Chamois.

Rag smiled when she heard the music start, and looked over her shoulder at her brother, who was just standing there, looking lost. "Good luck finding her!" she called, laughing under her breath as she intertwined her tail with Flame's and started walking over to the nearby stage.

 

Tag just looked around, standing there stupidly. He had no idea where to look for Diamond. Maybe she was looking for him. Hmm...

The act had finished, so Descant prodded Dash gently. "The freak show is over," he told her. Then his ears twitched. He heard music. ANd not cheesy carnival music. Real music. "Somepony's having a concert, really close," he said, distractedly.
