Short Fuse looked back at Dash, pawing the ground a little. "Yes, I could go for some food... Been a good number of days when I ate..."

 

Rockshire looked back at Descant, blushing a little. "No, no, I really prefer that you take the driver's seat... I'm not well with driving..."

Descant nodded. "You don't have be good at the bumper cars, but whatever you say..." He moved around the car, and sat in the driver's seat. The cars turned on.

Flame smiled. "Not as sweet as you." He said giving her a tight hug.

 

Diamond nodded. "I am so excited...I have never really done a whole bunch of traveling...I mean, I did travel to Manehattan once...But that's not as exciting as this." She smiled and kissed him again. "I should probably pick up my stuff before the show...I can't wait to see you perform."

Rag blushed slightly, and hugged him back, simply reveling in his presence. Although she couldn't help but deny, "I'm not that sweet."

 

Tag smiled, returning her kiss. "I'd go with you, but I'd hold you back, and I'll need to start getting ready soon."

"Its alright my sweet, I don't have allot of stuff and I can just use my magic to carry it." She kissed him on the cheek one last time then stood up. "I better get going if I am going to make it back for your show."

"Er, yes.  Thanks.  I've enjoyed the circus.  Certainly its an interesting life.  I actually think my tent is cool," she said slowly.  No need for details, Chamois.  Simple answers to simple questions.  One sentence.  Chamois stared at him, refusing to remove her eyes from him.

Rag shrugged, still blushing faintly, although now she added a faint smile to it. "True..." she said, mind wandering, a little closer to home now. She thought of the very pony next to her...

 

Tag smiled, and got up as well. "Okay, love. I'll see you tonight." He hugged her, and walked with her outside, his short tail attempting to interlock with hers.

Diamond smiled and interlocked her tail with Tags. When the got to the door she kissed him. "I will see you in a few minutes. Love you Tag." She said, trotting out the door.

She smiled at Tag and her friend sitting outside then took off and flew towards her house just outside of Ponyville

 

Flame put his arm around her and scooted a little closer to her.

When Diamond exited the trailer, Flame smiled back at her. "Um...Who was that ?" He asked, As she flew off.

Tag kissed her back, and followed her to the door, watching her soar off into the distance...

 

Rag snuggled in to Flame, still looking up into the sky. She looked , and saw that Flame was looking after Diamond, who was flying away. "That's Tag's marefriend," she said.

"Ooh lala, Tag has an alicorn marefriend huh." He smiled. "I'm just kidding, But I should probably go prepare for the show." He kissed her on the forehead and stood up. "I will find you later though ok ?"

 

Diamond flew past clouds and a group of pegasai who seemed to be heading towards the circus. *I gotta make this quick.* She thought, Landing outside her door and running up the stairs to her room.

Dusk looked around the tent, duly noting the intense, fixed gaze Chamois had on him. "It is pretty nice here. I like the way you set everything up. You have a flare for beauty, it seems," he said noting her art and the tent's setup, while also subtly suggesting that she was beautiful as well. He chuckled a little. "So, Chamois, by any chance would you like to do something with me later? I could introduce you to some of the other performers here at the circus, and it would definitely be a fun time."

Chamois felt her face flush pink in a blush.  Don't blush, Vine!  "It depends," Chamois said carefully.  She didn't want to, but even she could get lonely.  "What time of day," she began.  Not night time.  Don't even think about it.  "How many ponies are going to be about at that time," she continued.  "And why?" she finished.

She looked back at Tag, who was still gazing off into the distance where the alicorn had disappeared almost a full minute ago. "Yeah... I'd better try and get him ready too... He's not going to budge from that spot without me forcing him to..."

"Well, there' s going to be lots of cool events this evening, but I can understand if you don't want to be out late. There' s going to be fireworks and everything! If you' d prefer, I could just take you walking around here and show you everything there is to see, and I can introduce you to some performers who I am friends with. I'm free for the rest of the day, except for a concert at 6:30. If you want you can come see that too," he said excited that Chamois answered in a positive, if terse, kind of way. Maybe if she went to the concert his love song would reach her, as well as Rag and Flame. "When do you get off of work?"

Chamois took her eyes off of him and looked down at her table to think.  I want to go, I want to go, I want to go.  -To what?-  To everything!  -But I thought----  No!  I want to go anyway!  -Bad stuff could happen...-  Oh, please.  You're not stupid, Chamois.  There will probably be plenty of ponies around.during the evening.  Its a circus.  You won't let yourself be led to some weird, empty place...  Chamois looked up towards the clock she had hung in her tent.  "I guess I could go to those...things.  I get off in half an hour," she said slowly.  She looked at him.

Flame chuckled at Tag's dreamy expression. He gave Rag a hug then trotted off to his change room. He placed Rags bracelet onto the top of his desk, Then he did some stretches and a quick warm up before he got into his costume.

 

 

Diamond finished packing then trotted over to a small desk next to her bed. She sat down and started writing a letter to Star and Somber.

After using her magic to send the letter she bought her suitcase down the stairs and loaded it into the back of a cart, Then she packed all her tea making supplies into a few boxes and placed them all into the cart.

After locking the door to her house, She started walking back to the carnival.

"Awesome! In the meantime, I'm going to run back to my trailer and get some things in order,and then I'll meet you back here, okay?"

 

Then he dashed back home to grab some money, tidy himself up a bit,and fix his mane. He was unusually nervous, but he was also very, very happy and excited. He made it back to Chamois' tent in 28 minutes. "I' m back!" he announced cheerfully.

Rag grinned, and similarly to her brother, watched Flame Dancer trot away. However, unlike her brother, she pulled herself out of the love-induced reverie, and made her way over to the still swooning twin of hers. Grabbing him by the ear and grinning maliciously, she started to drag him towards the Main Attraction Tent. "Come on, lover-boy. We need to get ready for tonight."

 

"OWOWOWOWOW! I can walk, thanks." Tag looked annoyed momentarily, but shot a gag device full of streamers that he had pulled out of his mane into his sister's face, and she let go, sputtering. "Race you there!" Tag took off, leaving Rag, spluttering, but now grinning, to chase him. "You're on!" She cried, immediately sprinting after her twin.

Chamois was closing her kit up and looked up.  She had done a drawing of...a blade of grass.  Chamois gave him a nod of acknowledgement and closed her notebook, setting it onto her kit and pushing them under a table.  She glanced in the mirror.  She was wearing her barrette and jacket.  As usual.

She turned back to Dawn.  "I'm...ready?" she said.  Am I?  Whatever.

After getting into his costume and putting on his makeup, Flame left the tent to search for something to do before the show.

 

 

Diamond pulled her cart into the carnival grounds and then bought it over to Rag and Tags trailer. She parked the trailer right behind the trailer then flew to the mane tent so she could get a good seat.

"Great! Let' s go!" he exclaimed as they walked off into the circus. Suddenly, he saw something rushing towards them so he stepped aside and pulled Chamois out of the way. The RagTag twins raced by in their usual way. Dusk laughed and explained, "Those are the RagTag twins. They're clowns. Rag is the mare and Tag is the stallion. They can be pretty crazy, but they're both nice enough."

In their hasty race to get to the tent in time, Rag and Tag nearly bowled somepony over. Tag looked back enough to see who it had been, and nearly tripped as a result; Rag caught up with him and overtook him. He sped up, determined to not lose to his sister, and they ended up arriving at their destination neck-at-neck. Both panting slightly, they grinned at each other as they began to stretch themselves out for their performance later that evening.

 

 

 

Descant hopped behind the wheel of the car, and with a little jump, all the cars in the dodgem arena jumped to life. He wasn't a fantastic driver, but you didn't have to be to drive in the dodgem. He bumped and jolted, grinning the whole time, enjoying himself, yet entirely oblivious to the subtle looks Rockshire was throwing his way...

Flame was just trotting out of the mane circus tent when he noticed Dusk talking to some other pony he had never seen before. 

He waved at them and flew above the crowed, Then landed on the ground next to them. 

"Hey Dusk, Who's your friend ?" He asked, Smiling at Chamois.

"Oh, hey, Flame. This is Chamois Vine. She' s an amazing artist who has recently started working here, drawing caricatures. I've been showing her around a bit. Chamois, this is my good friend, Flame Dancer," Dusk said, mentioning to Flame Dancer, but keeping his eyes fixed on Chamois.

Flame smiled. "Its quite nice to meet you." He said with a nod. "So, Have you seen the show yet ? It wouldn't be anywhere near as awesome as it is without Dusk playing the wonderful music." He winked at Dusk. "Well, I am going to grab some water from my trailer...I seem to have run out. You two have a wonderful day." He then trotted off in the direction of his trailer.

Even though Rockshire was being slammed like crazy in the dodg'em cars, she still couldn't help but laugh at each hit. Once the session was over, her mane looked like a tattered mess.

(OCC:He can be backstage in a box.) Bob soon  woke up in some kind of box , he remembered that the stallions beat him up, but he had no idea why he was in a box. Bob began to make some noise from inside the box hoping that some pony could hear him, Bob didn't want this all he wanted to do was have some fun while he was here.

Dusk noticed that Flame Dancer was doing him a favor by making him look good in front of Chamois, and he was thankful. "I have to pay him back later," he thought. He waved to Flame as he walked away, and then he turned to Chamois, his eyes fixed upon her, awaiting her reaction to all of this with a smile.
