30 Rock Ponies - Kenneth Parcell's Ponysona

Wanted to do some vector practice tonight, and nothing came to mind about what to draw. Then 30 Rock came on, and the lightbulb went off! I'm also working on a pony for Jack Donaghy (he was actually the first one I started, mainly because he reminded me of Filthy Rich, which started the whole "30 Rock Ponies" idea in the first place).



This is my first vector not based on a trace from the show, so I'm particularly proud of it. Sketched it on paper then worked it in Inkscape.

Took about 2 hours to complete, from beginning of sketching to end of vectoring.

As always, please critique.

EDIT: Revised the vectoring a bit more. I redid the hair and fur coloring a bit, as well as added gradient coloring to the eyes.

Very nice for an original vector. As for critique, the ears seem a little off. I don't know why, but they don't look right. The eyes are also vertical. Pony eyes are a little slanted backwards in a diagonal direction. His back half also seems a little long and a tiny bit high up. That's about it for my critiques. Even if you don't fix anything it looks completely fine! Keep doing what you do and have fun with it!
