I liked this episode, and "Derpy Hooves" now named Muffins on the official wiki was a humourous character to put into the show, she is so lovable and cute

I also liked how respectful Rainbow Dash was around her, not just dismissing her.

I am torn on the censorship though, I understand they did it because people did not like "derpy" in her name, but stifling creative expression comes with some negative connotations of its own. I'm thinking where do we draw the line on this? people are so quick to take things out of context, and in the end, however well intentioned their motives are, they end up advocating for things that make things worse. I'm of the opinion that some leeway for humor and creative expression, should be allowable, and we need an intellectual discussion on where this stops, not arbitrarily continue to pile on more restrictions on creative works just because people don't like something, it creates more work for everyone, not to mention overreach on civil liberties.

I don't know that AJ would just run off like that? Or that Rainbow Dash would really just ditch Rarity and Pinkie Pie in the middle of the desert like that, they knew the risks? Again, this is one of those episodes where the Mane 6 are somehow not themselves. Not everything the writers made them do was entirely in keeping with their character all the time and these instances are kind of jarring.
