otarolgam 22 December 31, 2012 Share December 31, 2012 I love the Pony Creator on DeviantArt (Thanks General Zoi!), and I think I've cobbled together the body of the pony I want. The bigger issue, as with all little Fillies and Colts, is finding ones Cutie Mark. I know what I want my OC's specialty to be. I would love my OC to be able to deal and live with Dragons, sort of as an unofficial ambassador between the ponies and his "brethren". Since he's been raised and living with Dragons his whole life, I'd also like to give him the ability to control the different elements. Seeing as how he's a Unicorn and such, his magical talents make it very easy for him to do so. One of his favorite spells is to create himself some wings so that he can fly along with his Dragon friends. And since he can control the elements, using the wind to his advantage, he can fly higher and faster than even the most daring Dragon. If I were to vaguely describe the Cutie Mark, I'd say it would have to be a silhouetted Dragon Head (maybe in a Tribal-ish design) that incorporates the "4 basic elements of magic": Earth, Water, Wind and Fire. Leafeon 2,702 December 31, 2012 Share December 31, 2012 Maybe you should try half tribal dragon and half tribal unicorn? All black should work seeing as the base coat is a gray. I can draw it up if you want, shouldn't be too hard. Colt 555 December 31, 2012 Share December 31, 2012 Wow your OC and mine are like heads and tails of a same coin XD, as for a dragon related cutie mark I would try to do something with the Dragon's Warrior mark from Dragon Quest. Is one of the best's dragon symbols I have ever found and even is more than 15 years old keeps as my fav Icon EVUR!!!! As for the elements I dont know witch ones are those you are considering but incorporating too many "concepts in one cutie mark can be very dificult. Good luck =D OC's - Colt the Strahl | Earth Miracle | Tales of a Milennium - FanFic Proyect | Excuse my english

Good luck =D -Gasps- That fits almost too perfectly. Firebolt, if it's not too much, could you use that emblem up there as a sort of reference as to the shape that I would like...? If you want to go ahead and add your own flare (probably incorporate the elements as I mentioned), I'd be even more grateful!

otarolgam 22 January 1, 2013 Author Share January 1, 2013 -Scratches his chin with his hoof- Interesting take... Actually, the more I look at it, the more I like it....But what I was hoping for was to take that original design and like... The face part would be Tribal Flames and each horned part would represent an element. Like the long ones would be wisps of wind, the shorter ones jagged rocks and the shortest would be like a waterdrop or somethin'... I 'unno... I think I insulted my cutie mark creator... -Drags hoof through dirt- I guess it's my turn to take a crack at making it... -Gets out his pen and paper and starts to sketch-

A cutey mark should represent what your pony's place in the world is, but it doesn't need to be her life story. I would try something as simple as a curled scroll with a hoofprint on it; or something similar. I think that the cutey mark should be less specific "Ambassador" makes more sense than "Ambassador between ponies and dragons" for a cutey mark, not that I don't like the idea of the dragon ambassador... I do :
