Do you think the Flim Flam brothers will return?

I was just thinking about this after watching Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000.

 

Flim and Flam were a great couple of characters. Even though they were antagonists, you had to love their musical number and how they finished off each other's sentences, a bit like Fred and George Weasley. (Or Team Rocket).

I was thinking - you know how Trixie was defeated by Twilight and came back to challenge her again? Well, what if the Flim Flam brothers come back again to challenge the Apple family again? Or, what if they challenged another member, like Rarity with their own automated dress production, or Pinkie with automated confectionery production?

 

Would you enjoy seeing those brothers back on your screens for an episode?

 

P.S. - They could have a "Flim Flam Brothers' Ten-Times Faster Cupcake Master 9000". Had to say it.

I could easily see them returning somehow I think the Super Cider Squeezy 6000 wasn't their first gig. I have this fanfic idea though it will probably never be made into an episode where the flim flam brothers sell this product similar to Gak except when you eat it has effects on ponies similar to mind altering drugs and which ones depends on the pony in question. It affects Pinkie Pie like cocaine or extremely high doses of caffeine would effect her, it gets Rarity drunk, it makes Fluttershy have disturbing hallucinations and severe paranoia for example.

I would love that but the chances it could happen are pretty slim.Still, i dont hink theyll ever move away from apple related products given that their cutie mark is an apple divided between the two of them.

I couldn't stand the Flim Flam brothers. 

 

That is the only episode I miss out when I watch them back...I dont mind singing, infact I quite enjoy it but seriously? 

 

It really feels like they ran out of dialogue for the characters so they just made them sing the entire episode.

Man, I hope they come back. There was nothing about them that I didn't like. XD I think they would make good background characters, like they could be at a party or a fair trying to sell stuff. I <3 hucksters. XD

I like their musical number, but beyond that I don't really care for them. And even if they come back they proably won't be sing another music number anyways so I don't see any big reasons myself for having them come back.

Me too. I was completely oblivious of the Brony phenomenon, but I was reading something completely unrelated to ponies, about the Music Man. When I saw that there was a song in MLP that was entirely a reference to the song 'Trouble in River City', I thought I'd check it out, and I watched the show, intending to stop watching once I found the Music Man episode. Turns out I got hooked.

I highly doubt that the Flim Flam Brothers would return. The Super Cider Squeezy 6000, showed that even though the machine they made was good but they gave it bad apples. Plus, they were to never return to Ponyville ever again.

I would like to see them return (such a cute duo!) but I don't think they will. Flim and Flam were entrepreneurs, and once ponies realized that F&F were inferior to Apple Acres, I doubt that they'd return for round two. Ponyville knows that the best thing about the brothers was their luster and that they are willing to sacrifice quality for selfish reasons. The ponies wouldn't purchase any new product they come up with because the Flim Flam Brother name is known to be less than satisfactory. If the brothers returned, they would see no profits. I don't expect to see them in Ponyville again.

 

But you know, they could make a reappearance if the brothers moved on to another town (say, Manehattan) and brainwashed the folks into thinking their product was absolutely necessary and "to die for". Then Twilight and her pals would need to somehow fix the issue... That is the only way I can see it happening.

Never really cared about the Flim Flam bros or their song honestly. While it could be interesting to see them back it's not really something I would be excited to see

I don't think they'll return at any point, I don't think the ending of their episode really gave much cause to do so (after all, they basically got their own rear ends handed to them on a silver platter).

 

Plus, what would they actually do if they came back? Get taken down by AJ again? They'd have to have some sort of invention or con or something.

I don't see it happening, but stranger things have (or will happen, with the next episode). They could have an episode in the style of Magic Duel, but that would mean another Applejack episode, which I also think isn't going to be happening very much.

Maybe in the background.  Maybe a line or two.  But either then that, maybe not.  Trixie was very popular.  As well as Discord.  Thats why they returned/are returning.  Flim and Flam aren't as popular.

(and I don't really care for them either)
