Hullo! Christian brony here!

Follower of the God since, well, I was born.

Awesome. Were you raised in a Christian household or did you just latch on to the faith at an early age? Actually, is that too personal a question?

Hell there are plenty of Christians can't stand. Just because we share faith doesn't mean they can't be jerks.  >_>

Well, either which way, you are way nicer than the ones I live with. Cheers mate!

So recently I've been reading Acts, and while reading something came to mind. Are people still able to perform miracles like they did in those times? I don't know if this is a good question or not, it's just something that's been on my mind for a while.

Its up to interpretation but I'd say yes.

It's just that there are so many fakes that it's next to impossible to tell what's real

Don't be afraid to ask questions dude. That's how one learns in all other aspects of life, why not religion?

Well that depends on how one defines a miracle. I like the way Morgan Freeman, playing the Big Guy, summed it up in Bruce Almighty.

"Parting your soup [like Moses did the Red Sea] isn't a miracle Bruce, it's a magic trick. Now a single mother that works two jobs and can still make it to her daughters soccer game . . . that's a miracle."

Well, where they helpful? I don't want you to just take our words at face value they aren't actually providing any meaningful insight.

Yes, the posts were helpful. Your post was kind of confusing, but i think I got the general idea.

Actually looking back at the message, I think I get what it means now.

Good. Again, sorry that I wasn't clear, initially.

No need to apologize, I just didn't get the meaning of it the first few times reading it.

Sterling my old friend! :D

Man this is like an Odyssey reunion! Lincolnshire has posted here as well! How are you doing?

Things have been going great thanks! I'm busy in graduate school, having just finished half of the water processing. I'll be finishing it off tomorrow and Saturday. Nevertheless, I suffered a 2nd degree burn a month ago, and I'm still recovering from it :(

Oh no! Shouldn't you not be working then?

It's much better now, and I have to get working to get my studies done! I'll be fully recovered soon.

Well God speed and God blessed Sterling, I'm sorry that happened to you. If it's any consultation, my foot was almost taken off by a lawn mower. It was years ago, and hasn't had any long term effects, but just so you know I know how you feel.
