Night Hawk quickly moved to a different section of cover he looked around for rufus, he checked his shot gun, it was a beanbag round **shit** he looked and saw the one who had the fire ball still standing there, he shot the bean bag at a light fixture over him, causing it to fall on top of Damon, he checked his shot gun, tear gas, could come in handy he thought

Fenyw couldn't help it; she giggled a little. He was so blissfully unaware of his daughter's activities that it was a mixture of painful and funny to watch.

(OoC: Phew! Thank goodness I didn't use Thalia; she's a necromancer and can basically do that plus a bunch of other stuff.)

 

Eos nodded. "Well, if you want to join, then I would recommend you do a little side job for me. Show us that you're capable of actually getting the job done." She beckoned him to follow her and led him through a dark maze of tunnels until they were in a small dimly lit office, the walls covered in paintings of a beautiful green land. 

Eos gave him a stern look. "Keep in mind that this is not a group that takes sides. We're in this for self preservation and to make sure that the city stays under our thumb, see? You join the family, you help the family. No questions. If you can be trusted then we can help you."

Damon barely moved out of the way, now having to come out of where he was hiding. Rufus jumped over the cover he was behind, quickly grabbing the shot gun and using his strength to crumple the barrel. "I've have enough of your toys metal man." He said. Damon got up from the ground and started towards Night Hawk.

Track continued sipping his wine and just shook his head "you never answered why im not allowed to be released"

Night Hawk was taken by suprise he was able to fire the tear gas round, it exploded in the barrel effecting both of them, this gave night hawk time to roll away and reorganize, he hit a button and the blades on his arms extended, electricity covered his body

Rufus fell back, coughing, he quickly picked himself up and grabbed his mace. He looked around for Night hawk and finally spotted him.  Damon watched from the back of the office unseen. He knew how he could win, but the electricity posed a problem. He simply fired an explosive fireball while Night hawk wasn't looking to see what would happen.

Fenyw stared at him. "Your own daughter tried to kill you, backed by an enourmous rebel faction, and yet you want to go outside? Your guards are useless, the rebels go through them like Paula Deen goes through butter. They're of no help. No, Boss still needs you for the time being."

 

Gwen continued to rummage about harvesting bodies when the guards raised their guns. She didn't even look, just pointed at a fire hydrant that was spewing water. It suddenly aimed at the guards and a strong smelling yet clear substance suddenly came flying out. By the time it stopped, there was nothing left of the guards but a puddle of liquid eating at the ground.

Night Hawk flew across the room, the electric field still on, he  pulled him self up "oww, the hell was that?" he looked over and saw rufus had his mace again, the tear gas was still effecting rufus, night hawk used his grapple to pull his mace out of his hands and tossed it to the other side of the room

Fire started walking towards Night Hawk, using his hands like flamethrowers and spewing out fire at him. Hoping to short-circuit his armor and slightly burn him while weakening the structure. Things around him also started to set on fire. Rufus took this time to ready himself, getting out of the tear gas and locating Night Hawk.

Night Hawk tried to keep out of range of the fire, he noticed that the whole building was starting to catch fire, he kept back tracking, he shot the grapple at fires face, rapidly pulling him to Night Hawk, night hawk then delivered a powerful electrified punch to the face, he then hoped back and faced rufus looking for an opertunity to strike

"As long as I get what I want, you don't need to worry about my cooperation." Butajiri said, "The super powered humans that are useful to you can live for now, but as soon as they aren't needed, I expect you to help me find them. I can do the rest. And in return, you have my oath that I will abide by your terms until such a time as this ordeal is finished. Now, what was that task you wanted done?"

Damon fell to the ground, slightly laughing again. He grabbed Night hawk by the legs and started to heat up his hands, slowly melting his leg armor and burning him. Rufus was already by Night Hawk, quickly using his paws to swing at his face with his incredible strength.

Night Hawk is knocked to the ground "AAHH thats getting hot!" he starts kicking damon in the face with his other leg, he is still electrified "get the hell off me you bastard!" he tries to get his leg free, he uses his arm blades to cut and shock rufus's legs

Rufus yelped, quickly puling Damon away from Night Hawk as he helped Damon up. He was now slightly bleeding from his nose, chuckling the entire time. Rufus walked over and picked up his mace, resting it on his shoulder as they both waited for Night Hawk to get up. Damon spawned a katana looking sword and readied his magic.

Night Hawk stumbled up  "hmm, you guys are good,"  claws shoot out of his fingers, he sees them ready them selves "lets go then" he charges clawing and punching both of them rapidly, he cuts them with his arm blades, he kicks and knee strikes them, all attacks are electified

Damon took a cut to his leg, then side stepped back while Rufus simply took his mace and swung it towards Night Hawk's chest surprisingly being rather resilient to the pain. He hoped to finish the fight on one last swing, putting all he in the point blank swing at him.

Night Hawk was taken aback from the hit, he saw rufus readying a second blow and at the last minute he doged and rufus's mace hit damon, Night Hawk was able to take the moment and kick them both down, he picked up the mace and tossed it across the room

 

"if i dont get my weapon, you dont get yours" he walked back a bit to protect him self from a counter attack

Damon was already behind Rufus, so the mace missed. Damon fell over, rolling away and at a range, while Night Hawk's kick stopped right at Rufus, not really effecting him, he grabbed his leg and then used his magic to levitate his mace back towards Night Hawk at a fast speed with a grin. It hit him in the face, easily enough to damage and somewhat break his helmet. He then threw him at a wall by his leg.

Night Hawk slowly got up "ahhhh....shit...." his interface was messing up and there was a small crack in it, he took out a morphine styerette  and injected him self, he then got back up "you  got me pretty good" he saw that the whole building was now on fire, he picked up a computer monitor and  threw it at a burning support, some of the burning roof feel on rufus and damon

 

Night Hawk slowly walked back, checking for movement

Damon was immune to the burning fire, but took some scrapes from the wood landing on him, Rufus then quickly threw it off them and snarled at Nigh Hawk. Damon then noticed the structures were breaking. He grinned as he threw a fireball at the ground, blowing up and causing the police station to begin to collapse. He then ran with with Rufus, going for the door and out it as it began to cave in.

Night Hawk was knocked over by the explosion and some boards fell on him, he crawled his way out of the burning rubble and got up out side of it, he lost sight of the two **damnit!** he slowly walked away, he had a slight limp and was a little injured, he headed to his safe house

(I keep forgetting were ALL humans, so confusing on a ponies forum) @@Pripyat Pony, Shell gave a confused look, why would someone leave something behind if it resulted in crippling them? He never truly understood humans and their thought process. "If i don't have money, and i'm really hungry, i resort to finding fake money and leaving it on the table when im finished, and then once i'm gone, they don't know where i am, so they can't chase me for not paying." he suggested to the human.

 

"You can call me Shell, and it looks like you need a wall of chitin to help you out when times get tough. Were both similar, aside from looks. Together, it would be so much easier to survive. I'm slow, and i don't hurt them as much. but your weak, and hurt them a lot more. You up for it?" he offered.

Diego winced and sat up. He held out a shaking hand. "Yeah, I'm up for it," he said. "I was a lot less crazy before, back when I used to go around with my friend Reptile, but I don't know what happened to him. I need someone to calm me down and stop me doing stupid stuff for attention. Like thinking I could use my power on the whole city; seriously? I probably only affected a couple of people who were already so drunk they were hallucinating already. Need to avoid people like those two guys earlier; they probably don't think much of me, but at least they didn't kill me. I need a calming influence around to make sure I don't pick fights I can't win."

Tartaros had left Eos's home, deciding to check out another place of town which had recently been bombed. As he traveled there though, he caught sight of Night Hawk and approached him.

"What happened to you?"

Tartaros looked around and saw the burning building from afar. He could hear sirens in the distance, and told NH to take refuge quickly before they were blamed for the event.

@@Pripyat Pony, Shell smiled and shook the mans hand, he felt it was the only human gesture he truly knew how to do. "Its not so much as you couldn't win that fight, i'm pretty sure you would at least have a fighting chance, but it was more of a stupid action that cost the battle."

 

He looked down at his hands, both of them had some chitin chipped off and a few burn marks from blocking that fireball. It looked the chipped part of the chitin was slowly repairing, and the burn marks would be overgrown, not that burning hurt anyway.

 

"One question. Do you have a home? Cause currently, i'm staying in an abandon building with this weird spider lady."

Gwen finally finished her dirty work-if Wesley came back, these could come in handy, and if not, she had loads to work with. She carefully started re-searching the rubble for anything of value.

 

Carullo was headed towards the bomb site, Olivia stumbling behind him.

 

Eos put her hands on the desk. "We can get rid of the rebel and government supers, but you are not to touch a single one of the ones here. Clear?" Her voice was grim and serious and she stared at him, waiting for an answer before she would give him a job.

"Not as such," Diego replied. "I just find odd places to bunk down for the night. I never really stay in one place for long, mainly cuz I attract too much attention by doing stupid stuff." He laughed ruefully then winced, wiping his face with a tissue he found in his pocket. "Sorry about this. Normally I only end up covered in blood and vomit after too much vodka."
