Damon and Rufus slipped into an alley, he created a fire portal and used it to transport them back to Lenny's base. They were dropped off at the back room of the place. Fire used his magic to clean and fix his clothes, and then used a first aid kit to heal himself. Rufus simply started to heal by himself, not really caring if his already rugged jacket had any more holes in it. "Alright, now that that's over, we can start phase two." He said

"I'm not human as such; a mutant, actually," Diego remarked as he followed Shell. He was still suffering from a pounding headache, tho the visual disturbances and nausea had receeded. He was relieved; it wasn't going to be a long one this time. "And my name's Diego. I did away with a surname a while ago."

"Ouch, that does sound like a real problem when facing it alone," Tartaros said as he checked the area for guards. There were some there alright, and actively searching for someone who could've caused the accident.

"Think you're able to climb and jump around rooftops? Only a matter of time before those guards come over here," Tartaros said.

Night Hawk nodded "yeah, i think my grapple still works" he grapples up to one of the buildings and rests "damn look at at this, this kind of armor is very hard to come by and theres only one place you can get it" he examined himself, his one leg had a hand print melted into it, and his visor was cracked

"This really is too easy now." Damon said with a grin. "She tried assassinating her own father, I knew these police badges would come in handy!" He said chuckling. "We're gonna go to her apartment, and pose as police officers investigating the shooting Rufus, got it?" He asked. Rufus nodded, turning into human form, with the cane form on his mace.

 

Lenny walked into the back room. "Damon, and...friend... took you long enough you mook." He said. "You kill em yet?" He asked.

 

"Almost, but we found out where they live." He said.

 

"We'll i'm not paying you to chat, get to it." He said angrily

 

"You don't pay me at all." Fire retorted

 

"Exactly, your chattin' right now!" Lenny said before slamming the door shut.

Damon sighed. "Alright, lets get going." He said going for the door, he walked outside, stepping inside of his blood red Cadillac with Rufus following. He started up the engine and began to drive to the address while listening to "Waka Flocka Flame - Hard in da paint bass boosted version." on full volume. Rufus looked irritated at the volume of the noise assaulting his ears as they drove.

 

After a few minutes they reached the apartment. Damon finally turned off the stereo and stepped out of the car. "The moment of truth..." He said. "Hopefully, we don't run into any problems." He added as they get to the door of the apartment. They walked in and took the stairs up, reaching the room Sasha apparently lived in. He knocked on the door with Rufus standing behind him at the side and waited.

*There was a shout that came from inside the apartment. A few more seconds passed before the door opened and a fairly intoxicated and halfway dressed Anna stepped out and walked right into Damon. She looked up and giggled.*

"Howdy officer. Is something the matter?"

 

"Anna! Who is it?"

*A female voice shouted from inside the apartment.*

 

"Its a couple a' coppies! They seem nice. One a' them is pretty, but the other kinda smells like wet dog!"

*Anna shouted back.*

Gwen finally finished her dirty work-if Wesley came back, these could come in handy, and if not, she had loads to work with. She carefully started re-searching the rubble for anything of value.

 

Carullo was headed towards the bomb site, Olivia stumbling behind him.

 

Eos put her hands on the desk. "We can get rid of the rebel and government supers, but you are not to touch a single one of the ones here. Clear?" Her voice was grim and serious and she stared at him, waiting for an answer before she would give him a job.

"I already made it clear that I don't understand the way that humans do war." Butajiri said. "I won't do anything like that unless you tell me to. I'm not out to get the officials, I want the high class humans, but I promise to wait unitil you're ready for them to die."

"It followed me home, can i keep it?" Shell joked, he heard that from... well, he couldn't quite remember. Poison laughed and nodded, "As long as he doesn't mess with the spiders, or me, he is fine to stay. But he better be house broken" she joked back.

Rufus nudged Damon, with smirk, "Heh, she said you smell like wet dog" He joked. Damon was on the brink of laughing, but held it in. "Hello Ma'am, my name is Detective Damon and this is Officer Rufus." He started. "We're here to investigate the shooting of Hunter Track, take some questions and such." He explained.

"I don't know how this alliance will work as we have...different views. Until, well, unless Wesley and Illium come back, you'll be fine."

She rummaged about in a drawer and pulled out a scroll of paper-an actual scroll. She handed it to him. "First mission. Steal the cube from this government officials house, but don't kill him. There's a map of the grounds in there, but be careful; security's doubled in recent days and the guard walks we mapped may not be accurate." She smiled. "Get on it as soon as possible. The cube is very valuable." As an afterthought she gave him a picture of it, a beautiful pearly white thing swirled with gold and lapis lazuli, with an odd character carved into the side.

"It's on the last basement floor, the fourth, with several passcodes and laser alarm systems. Kill the guards if you have to, they'll be in droves down there, but don't make too much of a ruckus. We pride ourselves on stealth."

"Shame huh? I'm sure you can get it repaired though, I believe that you had related materials lying around someplace at the main base if I'm mistaken."

Tartaros spun out a tendril from the palm of his clawed hands and easily made it to the top of the building. Unfortunately for the two of them however, it seemed the city patrol had dispatched a couple of copters to better scout the area, while dropping down several of their soldiers on rooftops.

"Wonderful," he growled as he shoved Night against a ledge to hide. "We won't be able to hide for long now. I hope you either have camo or some heavy artillery left, might be in for another tangle..."

Tartaros then told Night about the bombing he had heard from a distance, but suggested that they get to it some time later if Night needed those repairs drastically.

 

(Skull: trying to create some events for the both of us to deal with if that's ok with you, and of course Pinkie.)

"Honestly," Butajiri said as he took the items. "What makes you think I can't handle stealth? It's the blue hair, isn't it?" He eyed the photograph. "That looks expensive." He held out the banshee shriek, still sheathed, and placed it on Eos, table. "Now you have no reason to think I won't return. I won't be needing that for this mission at any rate."

"No problem," said Fenyw confidently. "Only members of our little ragtag band can get in, after all. That's a very special door, see, you gotta be special to get it open." She winked at him. "Army just ain't special enough."

 

Eos cocked her head. "Never said you couldn't. Just made sure you could. I'll put this in a vault for safekeeping. Happy hunting!" she said with a little wave, as though telling him to leave her office.

 

Carullo's anthro components kicked in even while he was in human form, and he thought he heard movement. He growled lightly, trying to scare off anyone who may be lurking nearby, and kept a careful grip on Olivia. He didn't move, only breathing, and Olivia felt panic well up inside her. The temperature abruptly dropped to freezing and a light slushy rain started.

 

"What in the world?..." muttered Carullo, surprised. No one had those kinds of powers around this town.

*Anna said. She turned around and led the two 'cops' into the apartment. Just to see Lester tied to a chair with a floral print skirt on over his jeans. Sasha was standing in front of him with a camera.*

 

"Yeah, work it baby."

*She said with a bit of laughter. she was a bit drumk as well. Lester was entirely sober, (he doesnt drink) and he turned to Damon and Rufus and silently mouthed,*

 

'Help Me!'

Hunter chuckled "the army isnt even the best thing we got, a squad of heavy spec ops could walk in and take you all out, just a squad could  clear out the entire rebel force, im willing to bet a squad of them are on their way right now, a team of highly trained extreamly efficient warriors, just you wait" he smugly takes a drink of wine "ill be out of here in no time"

Fire was once again on the brink of laughing. "Three people, the first one seems normal, but these two feel off... At least one of them is tied up, probably making this whole ordeal easier." Fire thought to himself as he looked at Weiss. "Sasha Track I presume?" He asked with his best 'kind police officer voice' that was actually quite believable.

Butajiri nodded and ran out of the office. He was able to remember his way out of the catacombs and back into the city streets. He had to look at his map for a while to find out wich direction he needed to go. The building seemed to be on the outskirts of the city.

*Sasha set the camera down on the counter, took a sip of the beer she had sitting there, then took a look at the 'cops'. There was something strange about them. They had quite a lot of darkness in them, but she could see scattered traces of light as well. Not enough, but something that could grow if the right care was tended to it. Not only that, but they were wearing street clothes with police badges pinned to their shirts, and police hats. That didnt seem normal.*

"How can I help you officers? Is something the matter?"

*Sasha was wary of the 'cops' so she began to manipulate the shadows on the floor into a ready position around them.*

 

(Hypno, have Damon shoot Sasha in the face now. It'll trigger Lester's demonic awakening.)

"We're here to return the favor." He said as he abruptly fired a flame blast at Weiss with a grin. Rufus instantly transformed, propping his mace on his shoulder and grabbing Anna from behind as a hostage with his free arm. He wondered if he should run now, or stay and see if there was anything else he could do.

Unfortunately as Tartaros and Night Hawk began to move, a chopper dropped off a small squad of soldiers on their rooftop. The seeming leader barked orders for the rest of his crew to apprehend them both.

"Take care with thesee two," he said as they pointed their guns at them. They were energy weapons, able to release stunning bursts of electricity.

Tartaros looked at Night Hawk and shrugged, whispering to him to take out the left side consisting of about 5 guards, while he took out the right side of the remaining soldiers.

"Excuse our gluttony," laughed Tartaros as he lunged towards his side of soldiers, instantly snapping up the first one who made the mistake of trying to fire at the charging symbiote. More soldiers dropped down from the chopper, increasing the number of enemies the two had to take out....

Some soldiers fired their weapons at Night Hawk and at Tartaros, which he responded to by lashing a tendril out to knock a troop into the line of fire.
