Fear suddenly froze, his appearance shifted to what he looked like 13 years ago, boots, black cargo pants, a dark grey hoodie, leather gloves and a gas mask with red tented lenses, his scalpel morphed into a machete 

 

"so, your the one who locked me in that hospital FOR OVER 10 YEARS! DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO FEEL YOUR POWERS SLOWLY DRAIN AWAY!?!"  the street and sky reddened to a hellish shade

Frey put his pinkie finger to his chin and thought for a moment. "She's not at home, and she ain't with you. She wouldn't run off and stay there if she didn't have someone with her. Supposing she has her will about her. You know someone else she's been associating herself with? Someone outa side the rebels?"

 

 

 

Maven gave a brief grin at the girl. "You make this too simple. A sort of charm does reside in that, but I'm done dealing with unruly figures!" He pulled a pair of metal hand cuffs out of his coat pocket and stretched out both arms toward th girl, attempting to grab her with his right hand and cuff her with his left.

"I won't bloody calm down," said Olivia, and she kicked Carullo, who grunted in surprise.

"You filled his head with this stupid rebel bullshit, and now look what you've done!" she continued, her voice getting louder and more angry, and the pressure and temperature in the room began to rise until everyone was sweating.

She attempted to attack one of the nurses.

The girl backed up away from the handcuffs, slinging her bag off her shoulder. Inside were stacks of dolls.

The nurse pulled out a taser and hit olivia, shocking her until she fell unconscious, she breathed heavy in shock, another nurse helped carullo back up "are you alright?" she asked, another nurse picked up olivia and set her on a bed

"Besides the fact that you just tasered my girlfriend and the fact that she may have broken my nose, I'm fine," chuckled Carullo, but he cast a worried look at Olivia, who didn't seem to be breathing.

"Not sure how I feel about the fact that care providers lug tasers around, too."

Ignoring the dolls, Mavens arms continued to stretch out at the girl like warm putty. His fingers on his left hand began to spread out two, moving around to her side to wrap around her.

 

 

 

"Well..." Frey said. "That can't mean shes a place she wants to stay at. Will should be out of the question. If the Governments got her, then Maven must too. Unless... Have you run into any other enemy groups? Not government or rebel?"

The nurse sighed, "its just her, she had...some bad experiences in the past, she carries it where ever she goes,  and dont worry about your friend, she should be fine" the nurse who shocked olivia put her taser away, she walked up to carullo "um...i.im sorry i did that to your friend...she was going to hurt me and i...just reacted..." she said in a shy timid voice

 

The Rocketeer thought for a moment, "i have heard reports of some group that claimed neutrality...but ive never confirmed their existence" @,

The girl rolled her eyes. "Really, now? Are you actually going to do that?"

She pulled a doll out of her bag, one with eerie yellow coloured button eyes.

"It's fine," said Carullo. "She's just been in some bad places with the rebels, and she's not exactly trusting of you, especially now that I'm...well, I'm interested in signing up, like I said."

"We may have had a part in it," Tartaros laughingly told Fear as he dropped from the building's wall a few yards in front of Fear.

"Your little dressup games didn't scare me then, and certainly not now, so I don't really know what power loss you're complaining about," he mocked.

"I've had my killing sprees, so I don't claim to be a virtuously good super like they are envisioned, but you... you really opened my eyes to what the government really was like; ruthless, cruel... murderers. All they wanted you for was a killing machine, a way to have more torturous ways of 'dealing' with the uprisings. You probably would've been free all those ten years past, but through some 'modifcations' in the orders about you, we made sure to keep you imprisoned for life, to slip into a lifetime of your own insanity."

Maven's fingers made a full circle around the girl and started to close around her on all sides. Meanwhile, Maven began to walk closer to her. With both arms still extended. He moved his free hand, holding the cuffs, to her wrists.

 

 

 

Frey put both hands over his eyes and walked back. "Gah! I got nothin, you got nothin, Lester's got nothin! We won't ever find the girl at this rate!"

"well umm, i hope you dont mind" the shy nurse continued "but um, we are going to move your friend while shes asleep, not in a box dont worry....its for security reasons...that she doesnt know where this base is..." another nurse piped up "we are just going to move her to a near by cafe/diner place where its safe, we will make sure you know where she is, she will wake up in a booth with a hot meal infornt of her"

Fear got mad quickly the world around them started to distort, Fear shreiked and charged tartarous, the man who was swatting at fake bugs started repeatedly slamming his head into the street

 The Rocketeer sighed "i do have units out on  constant patrol looking for her"

 

Hunter entered the presidents office "mr. president" the president turned around holding a glass of red wine "ahh hunter! so glad you made it!" he poured a glass of red wine and handed it to him "drink, its a personal favorite of mine" the wine was oddly thick, hunter drank it but stopped "hmm, its not disgusting....but somethings...off about it" the president laughed, "it has a special ingredient, that only comes from country of sashill" hunter nodded "must be exotic" the president laughed "oh you have no idea"

"I get all of my materials imported from Sashiil. If my apartment was ever searched, who knows how long I would be thrown into prison for."

*She took another long sip from the mountain dew.*

*King followed Illium out of the hospital room. He looked down at the mark carved into his chest. He cringed as it slowly healed up.*

"Damn, healing doesn't usually hurt that much."

*Even once the wound was finished healing, it still left a scar, something that only usially happened with wounds that would have killed. King greatdully accepted his shirt back from Illium.*

*A portal appeared in the president's office. Jonah stepped out of it in his clean formal attire. he bowed in respect to the president.*

"Mr. President, I apologise for interrupting but I have news. There is strong runic activity occuring at the hospital and it is preventing my entry to reclaim Kelly King."

The president contiued drinking his glass while jonah spoke, he finished drinking and said "hmm, how troubling, do we have any agents who can deal with runes? or should we dispatch another team of spec ops soldiers?" he poured himself another glass "do you at least know the source of the activity?"

Frey glanced at Lester. "Well, been quiet enough for the three of us, you have. You're the one that knows the girl best, right? If we can't get anyplace here, I'm gonna start looking random about." He said frustrated.

 

(It's times like these that I wonder why Sasha doesn't seem to care that we don't know where she is...)

Zeddie chuckled. "Maybe sometime I can." He commented as he switched his composure on the couch again. "Anyways..." He started "What's a Shashiley?" He said screwing up the word severely.

 

Damon waited in the other room, tapping his foot down on the floor as he grew impatient of Gwen and Leon's return.

 

Leon decided to go with it. "Yeah, I suppose she did tell me to do that, like I said."

Tartaros let his right arm stretch forth and morph into a blunt, hammer like object to slam Fear in the chest and prevent him from landing hits.

"Like last time, symbiote versus deranged psycho with a knife," Tartaros hissed as he stared down Fear. "We've been here before, what new tricks do you have to offer other than a bloody scalpel and cheap tricks?"

 

(Symbiotes do have one thing they "fear", but I'll leave it to you to look them up.)

Illium looked a little sad, and she crossed her arms and leaned uncomfortably against the wall.

"I'm sorry for your loss," she said simply, and there was an odd screeching noise from the room.

Gwen looked at Leon, her eyes deranged.

"I told them about her," she said loopily. "I told them she would do it. But no one listens to poor dear Gwenwyn, no, it's always Blue."

They were nearing the apartment.

"Your carnival tricks aren't funny anymore," complained the girl, still clutching the doll.

"I hope you don't mind if she strangles a few people, then. Olivia's not the most fun when she's upset," said Carullo wryly. "Especially if she wakes up in a new place."

Fear stumbled back from the hit and recovered, he then burst into flames, he growled as he walked forward, tartaros could feel heat radiating from Fear

"oh my!" the shy nurse exclaimed, the other nurse asked "is there any paticular place you would like us to bring her to?

Tartaros stood in place for a moment before he began to flank around his opponent. Those flames looked and felt quite real, but knowing his enemy, confusing reality with fantasy was easy. He prepared a plan, planning several different methods of attacks and counters should Fear rush in violently.

"Capitalizing on a thing we hate, so you have grown at least a little bit."

Maven tightened his grip around the girl so that she wouldnt get away. He continued to tighten his grip while he used his earpiece to call the chief again. "I let Gwen and her partner go." He said. "I didn't see a good reason for them to die. Theres a little girl here, I've restrained her. I'm ready for the recovery team..."

Carullo stood up again. "I'm leaving," he said decisively. "I'll take her back to her apartment, she'll be better there. She won't know where the base is, then, and you guys won't have to deal with her crazed rage." He looked at her fondly and then gently picked her up, looking at the rebels again. "I will be returning, though...I want to help your cause. I love the people I work with, but this is time to act. I've sat about long enough; I want to end this."

"I'm not a little girl," said the young woman tiredly. She looked exactly like Torri, but she was taller and her speech less childish. "First I was a boy, and now I'm a kid...you're a right idiot." She pushed out of his grasp with difficulty and opened the door again, slamming it in Maven's face.

Eos was slowly coming to. Sasha appeared to be resting and Fenyw was sitting, brooding.

"Hey," whispered Eos, and Fenyw just glared at her.

Maven turned around and went back to the police station.

 

(Maven can easily get inside. The only reason he's giving up is because it was requested. I'm not happy about this as this is making Maven look like he cant get inside an unguarded base. I now have no way to use Maven or Walsh until someone interacts with them.)

(@Koenma: I'll see what I can do to make Tartaros meet up with your new characters, if I remember I think they were looking for him too?)

Tartaros continued to study Fear, constantly flicking his snakelike tongue. Deciding to take the offensive, Tartaros smashed all six of his giratendrils into the concrete and ripped out chunks of concrete, one for each tendril. He hurled one at Fear.

"We think... we think we'll just rip you to shreds. See how you like it 'Fear'," Tartaros mocked.
