Mane 6 screen time

So a lot of people are debating whether or not certain characters in the mane 6 should have more screen time or less screen time in the show.

 

I think that each character in the mane 6 should have about an equal amount of screen time in each episode, instead of some characters having absolutely no screen time at all in multiple episodes. I think this would be more fair and it would make it so everyone's favorite character in the mane 6 gets an equal amount of screen time, more or less.

I agree that they should all get similar screen times--overall...

But I think when it comes to certain episodes that focus on specific characters and or events, then I don't think that it can be helped to show one more than the others.

Yes, but just because an episode focuses on one character doesn't mean the others can't play a role in the story somehow. A lot of episodes in season 1 were like that (The Ticket Master, for example)

I disagree. Sometimes the fans of one character like seeing an episode devoted to them entirely and dislike it when another pony is part of it. I would like equal screentime for each pony but an episode or 2 devoted to one pony entirely is a nice change in pace

As long as it balances out overall, I don't really mind if different characters appear more in certain episodes than others. Although their are times when it seems like one or more of them is being almost blatantly ignored, and it bothers me, but they only have so much time per episode, I guess.

Of course they all need equal screen time. If I were to talk about Season 3,  I say it's been pretty fair so far, and a good balance has been achieved. Well... Not so much for Rarity and Fluttershy. They're gonna need some more time, then I can call it equal.

Dash has had plenty of screentime. We need another Rarity episode! Although I am not averse to more Scootadash loving, the whole Wonderbolts thing is really out of the question while RD is needed to be in the Mane 6. IF she does succeed, she will start spending time away from Ponyville and the heart of the entire show. (The Mane 6 and their relationships as the Wielders of the Elements of Harmony.)

Yeah I guess that's true, It's just her biggest dream and I would love to see her accomplish it And you know what I really want to see?... I want Scootaloo to fly, or Sweetie Bell use magic.
