Starlight gave Shade a confused look "You really never had a friend before?" Starlight wasn't sure what to say she'd never met another pony that didn't have any friends. Starlight just giggled she didn't want to press the subject and she found it funny that Shade was so surprised that she knew Celestia and Luna. "Of course I know the Princesses they are my teachers after all. Don't worry about a thing as long as you're with me it'll be ok, besides we're friends now and any friends of mine are welcome to tag along.." Starlight put her wing on Shade's shoulder and smiled as the train started to slow to a stop before coming to a complete hault. The doors opened and the staition ponies announced that all that were getting off needed to do so.

Sunlit awakes with a start. Well, really, she had never been asleep, just listening in to the conversation. What an odd pony, A pegasus who attends magic school who has never had a friend AND never tried to get his cutiemark. Maybe this pony was a spy. Sunlit flew to the seat behind the grey and green pegasus. "So, what's your name? Hmm?"

Jeterspry had remained quiet the who time just watching the others. It wasn't like him normally, but they all seemed excited about one thing or another so he didn't want to be the downer pony. It was just good to be back amongst friends. Once they got to Canterlot maybe he would see if Sunlit wanted to race. After all racing was one of his favorite hobbies. Until then he was content to listen.

Apple Doom was getting anxious. He walked to were Starlight was and asked "If we are going into the castle is there anything i should know? I hope i dont have to act all fancy and what not." Apple Doom was oblivious to other ponies customs and he wanted to make sure he didnt offend anyone.

Starlight felt the train come to a stop and the doors opened up allowing ponies off the train as she watched her parents and their friends start to leave the train. Starlight giggled at Apple's question "Heh don't worry AD none of us are wearing anything fancy this is just lunch with the Princesses nothing special so don't worry." Starlight passed up the lime green pony and made it out of the train stretching her wings out. She was excited to be back in Canterlot but even better to see the Princesses again after being on break from school it was a nice change of pace from everything.

Apple Doom soon followed and excitedly jumped out. Trying to be funny and flexed his muscles. "Alright every pony, time to get off it seems. Oh, don't mind my muscles they wont bite." Apple Doom then saw his mother giving him the stink eye and quickly relaxed his muscles. He then continued walking hoping he wouldn't get a hoof across the backside of his head.

"Shade hmmm..? Wow. That's two ponies with creepy supposedly evil names." Sunlit realized the train had stopped, and rushed outside. "Mum, remind me why we had to take the train and couldn't just fly?"

"Because I wanted to catch up with the other ponies. Come on, it wasn't that bad."

"I guess not." Sunlit spread her wings and started flying. She hated this sort of thing. Trains, carriages, they were always so cramped.

He saw Sunlit exit the train and start to fly off. Well no time like the present to try to race her. Galloping out of the train he ran past all the other ponies leaping up and taking off. It wasn't long tell he was next to her. "Yeah taking the train was horrible. I hate not being able to fly. Race ya." Before she could answer he tried to get a head of her.

Sunlit smirked at the challenge. "Your forgetting my mum is Rainbow Dash." She burst off after Jeterspy, and soon they were right next to each other, racing at high speeds. "Ha. Your pretty good. Almost as good as me, actually." Sunlit sped up more and was soon almost hitting the rate of a Sonic Boom of sorts. Impressed with herself, she sped up even more, until she hit the speed and sent a ring of sun light bursting out, also leaving a trail of it. "A Sonic Sunboom. Ha. I'm even better then I thought." She turned so Jeterspy could catch up.

Emerald laughed as he watched the two pegasus showing off. It was just like his mother had described Rainbow Dash. Some apples don't fall too far from the tree, I guess. He sighed and got off the train, stretching his legs before following the others into Canterlot.

Starlight giggled at Apple's attempt to look cool as she watched her two friends take off in a heated race resulting in a sonic sunboomusing her wings to shield her eyes from the light. Hearing Shade scream she was quick to go to her side making sure she was all right. "Yeah Canterlot is pretty nice but if you think this is cool just wait till you meet my teachers the Princesses." Starlight smiled as they continued down the road passing different houses getting bigger and bigger the closer they got to the castle. Starlight was getting more excited as they walked. "Oh I can't wait to see Princess Luna and Celestia again and the possability to see my aunt and uncle is even better. Oh you've not met them either they're King Shining Armor and Queen Cadence from the Crystal Empire." Starlight announced loud enough for everypony to hear.

"Actually, thats my first time doing that. Pretty cool, huh." Sunlit grinned. "I wonder what your Sonic boom would look like. I doubt it would be as good as mine, obviously, but it couldn't be bad. I guess we should wait for the others.

"More royalty,eh?" The possibility of meeting more royalty started to worry Apple Doom. Oh no, i will surely do something to offend them i just know it. What if i say something to get my mom in trouble? They would kick us off the farm and i would be to blame. Stupid adults always judging me. Apple Doom was worrying so much the matter that he tripped on his own hooves and falling flat on his face. At the same time he yelled out "BWAA!" as loud as he could.

Shade was walking with starlight, she seemed to be impressed with who she was friends with... "so were meeting the princesses?!? I... I... What will they think of me? I'm just a pony from manehatten... And I look like, this" she looks at all the scratch marking that were on her coat. The pain was gone but she still had marks all over her. "I look like somepony from off the street, oh wait... I am a pony from off the street... How should I clean myself up? How will I get all the scratches off my coat?... Maybe I should go to a spa, what do they do at a spa? Iv never been..."

 

Shade started to get a little panicy.

"Yeah it would be a lot of fun to figure out what mine would look like," he paused, "But you know how my Mom is. She is supper protective and careful. Jetersrpy started to dive bomb the ponies walking below. Pulling up at the last minute to mess up their manes. He let out a whoop as he flew overhead.

She hit it as hard as she could, causing a flood of rain to fall down on them. Sunlit fell onto a cloud laughing at the soaking wet ponies. "BWAhahahaha"

"Not only did i fall but i am now wet" Apple Doom exclaimed. "Now i have to redo my mane, and thats gonna be tough." Apple Doom ringed out his mane trying to get all the water out. "well if we are done with this how much longer is the walk?" Apple Doom tried to get himself as clean as he could after getting up.

Shade was being soaked by a rain cloud... She looks up at the two ponies and flew strate up.

 

She got a black cloud and positioned it right ontop of the two Pegasi. She bucked the cloud causeing it to shoot out 2 lightning bolts and striking the two pegasi. "um, hey, your mane is looking a bit... Shocked. Hahaha! And thanks for that shower! Now I'm all clean to go to the castle!"

Starlight chuckled at Shades fear "Don't worry Shade they wont care what happened to you before you came to Ponyville or what you're wearing." Starlight smiled until she felt the gust of wind followed by the rain growling that she had just gotten wet using her magic she fixed her mane and tail. When she saw Shade fly up and shock them with a storm cloud she busted out in laughter "Don't worry Apple it isn't much longer till we are there.." Starlight was right after about 10 minutes of walking they were inside the grounds of the castle. Starlight had never really seen the castle from this viewpoint, the castle was huge multiple levels of the castle towers and beautiful architecture. Standing outside on the walkway heading to the main enterance were Princess Luna and Celestia both with a smile on their faces. Starlight took flight as her mom started running up the stairs to greet the Princesses "Princess Luna, Princess Celestia!" Starlight and her mother both looked at each other and started laughing.

Apple Doom looked at the castle."Holy hayseeds thats big. I wonder how many ponies live in there." He exclaimed. Apple Doom then tried to sneak away from the group and explore the castle grounds. He looked to see if any ponies attention was on him. He slowly creeped away.
