Dusk watched from his dark spot as two more ponies entered the banquet. 'Two more ponies in love' he thought to himself, then he sighed heavily, before slumping his head down. 'If only I wasn't such a coward...the feelings I have for her...I can see she feels for me too, but...who's going to make the first move?' He covered his head with his right foreleg and a tear ran down his face. 

 

A few moments of silent reflection later, and after composing himself, he stood up and stepped forwards. His coat shimmered like a mirror and returned to its normal colour, he double checked his emotions, before trotting back into the banquet. He saw the other ponies having their own conversations, and immediately rejoined Star.

"Welcome," Star Rain replied. Then she looked off in the direction that Dusk had walked off to. She wanted to mention that he's shy around other ponies, but then figured that it would injure his pride. She then noticed that familiar dark blue(kind of looks purple) coat appear beside her. "Oh, hi again, Dusk!" she greeted him.

Goldseek laughed along. He felt as though he could be himself around Diamond. "Where is your tea shop? I'd love to drop by some time. Sounds like a wonderful place." He looked around to find that a lot of other ponies were at the banquet table. 'Of course this would be the more popular area'

Dusk couldn't help but smile at her those few minutes apart felt like hell had come for him, and because of that he stood closer than ever to Star. "I wont be doing that again anytime soon" he whispered to her.

He then chuckled, at what he had overheard - "You didn't do anything ma'am, don't worry. Sometimes I just need to be alone for a minute"

Dusk couldn't help but smile at her those few minutes apart felt like hell had come for him, and because of that he stood closer than ever to Star. "I wont be doing that again anytime soon" he whispered to her.

Silver smiled at his comment and nodded her head. " I understand, I need to be alone sometimes too. Especially when I get around too many ponies or I'm the center of attention, then I usually take off and hide with my books. I was really nervous when Leaf first came up to me, I thought I was going to pass out" Silver quieted then realizing she was talking a bit too much.

"It's...In Ponyville...Of course. Its just on the outskirt's where no pony would really notice it...Yet for some reason I still get a whole bunch of customer's." She chuckled and finished her water. "You're welcome to stop by any time, I am constantly making tea so I have no shortage."

Silver smiled at his comment and nodded her head. " I understand, I need to be alone sometimes too. Especially when I get around too many ponies or I'm the center of attention, then I usually take off and hide with my books. I was really nervous when Leaf first came up to me, I thought I was going to pass out" Silver quieted then realizing she was talking a bit too much.

"But I would never harm anyone unless anyone was harming anypony else." Leaf added in.​ "Everypony's gotta be alone sometime in their life." he advised.

He couldn't help but let out a laugh at this. "I'm sorry, i'm not laughing at what you think" he stopped himself from laughing so much, so he could talk normally, somewhat pink faced now. "I'm laughing because I was a whole different kind of nervous when we met. I had only just arrived and I was ready to leave again" he looked somewhat contently at Star "but...someone showed me the benefits of sticking around" caught up in what he was saying, he nuzzled Star on the neck for a second, before he realized just quite what he was doing and stopped himself, going bright red and looking back at Silver and Leaf shyly.

Silver smiled at Dusk, she knew exactly how he felt, ever since she kissed Leaf at the pond she was afraid to touch him much again. She took a small step away from Leaf and said " Rain, Dusk, have you tried the peaches yet? They are the most amazing fruit I've ever tasted"

"Oh? No I haven't" Dusk replied as he trotted over to the peaches. He saw one of the peach bowls only had one left, so being himself he decided to flick the bowl and catch the peach with his mouth. To his surprise, it actually worked. Taking a bite of the fruit, he was surprised by the juice that exploded into his mouth, his eyes shot wide open, and he almost dropped the peach as he took it in his hoof. "Woah! You're not kidding, they're great!" he coughed. "Want one Star?" he offered as he finished his own.

"I'll be sure to visit some time." He grabbed a random fruit, not knowing what any of the fruits were. He bit into it as the juices flooded his mouth. "This is pretty good. You should try some." He said, gesturing to the fruit which he couldn't name.

 

(OOC: Just a heads up, If I dissapear within the next week, I'm hopefully still alive. There is a fire nearby so I will be evacuating soon. Hopefully my house is fine.)

Leaf stared at the peaches for a while. At least it is better than staring into oblivion. He then took another peach from the basket and took a bite out of it. "Very sweet like the first time... like Silver..." he thought, while being off-guard at the same time.

He looked over, and saw Star beginning to converse with Silver, not wanting to interrupt he looked over to see Leaf staring off into nothingness. He walked up slowly, "S-so...you um...enjoying the party?" he said nervously, he wasn't with Star now, and his nerves where starting to show again.

Leaf Orange was alerted by Dusk who asked him something. He then turned to him and try to answer him. "Yea, it's fine; I guess..." he answered. Leaf then went up to Dusk. "I want to show Silver how I love her, But I just don't..." expressed Leaf while whispering to Dusk at the same time.

He sighed heavily, and then replied with "I hear you...i'm um, kinda in the same position myself" he looked a little unsure "I...I dont know what to do, or what you're comfy with, but I often see ponies just...come out with it, and that works. But...I dunno" He looked a little disappointed at this, seeing as he couldn't help. "I know Star likes me too, or at least...I think I know she does. Being as shy as I am though, even around her I just..." he cut off, seeming to be thinking about something.

"Heh heh...That's a star fruit." She said, taking one from the table. She bit into it and smiled. "I make sweet tea with these...Its one of my favorite kind's of tea." She finished her water, Placed it onto the table and bit the star fruit.

"Well... I'm not very social to begin with. I haven't really done anything to express my love to Dusk or anything... so, I don't really know..." Star Rain said awkwardly. In truth, she HAS expressed her love by comforting Dusk when he freaked out in reaction to the plants being aware of everything around them. She has no idea she was expressing her love by doing so, though.

"Well, that's more reason for me to go and visit your tea shop." Goldseek was unsure of how to confess his love. Before this party, just friendship was rare for him. And now here he was, in love. The feeling was so... different to him.

"Um, excuse me a second" Dusk rather nervously said to Leaf, as if fearing his response. 

He trotted across to Star, whom he had seen had been left alone. 

"Hey, feel better now we have food?" he joked. "You better be, took us long enough to get here" he said with a wink and a nudge.

Star Rain felt pretty helpless, watching Silver Sun go off to the table all alone like that. Her ears twitched when she heard the sound of hoof steps and that familiar, joking voice. In response, she humorously said,"I don't like these fruits! They're way too juicy!" Dropping the VERY fake angry tone, she said,"Just kidding!" with a smile.

Diamond nodded. "Definitely." She said, Smiling at Goldseek and looking down the path at the pond where a couple fish jumped out of the water. *How pretty.* She thought, Taking another bite of the Star Fruit and looking at the moon's reflection off the water.

Star Rain pondered on her answer for a short time before answering. "Oh, we were just talking about stuff, nothing big, nothing significant," she lied, figuring Silver Sun would not want her confession spilled out and overheard. "What's up with you?" she asked, hoping to change the subject.
