How to draw OCs

Hey everypony, I really want to draw my own OC and i've looked everywhere and cant find useful tutorials, i was wondering if you guys could give me some links to tutorials and some tips too

It's fairly easy, all an FiM-styled pony is composed of is essentially 3 circles and some more simple shapes.

The only hard parts are drawing the legs and getting the overall product to look good.

 

Assuming you're using a software such as photoshop, which gives you multiple layers, it would be a good idea to use a reference for the position/stance/shape/whatnot of your pony. Another thing is to always start out with guidelines so you know what goes where.

 

 

I probably just summed up every MLP drawing tutorial, ever.

These are the ones I always link to people who want to start drawing. I probably have over half of these downloaded from when I first started drawing. A quick Google search will turn up a few that aren't on there. I personally use one for stallion face perspectives that isn't on there. Hope this helps!
