Cascade smiled. "I've got some friends who are pretty skilled in magic. Maybe you should look them up sometime, if you ever visit Ponyville. But, I'm pretty sure not all unicorns are able to do many kinds of magic. Usually it's fairly specific to your talent. I think." She scratched her head puzzledly, and looked at Rambler. "It's alright." She said simply.

"Well... I guess I should get going now. It was nice meeting you two, we should definitely meet up sometime soon. I'd love to be able to play for you again."

 

On that note, Rambler nodded to them and walked out, heading back to his room.

She said excitedly, hopping that the potion worked. If it didnt she would have to figure something else out for Cascade.

Emerging from the back of the jacket she wore were her wings... Same as ever. She glanced at them disappointedly, and asked Lila hopefully, "Will it just take a while to take effect?"

"Im... Not sure. Maybe i didnt make it correctly." Lila started doubting herself. "Sorry, i tried. I guess some things just aren't fixable." The flame on her horn turned a cyan color and so did the little floating balls of fire she was still messing with. (Im not sure what i should do with the little fire balls. Any sugestions? Or should we continue on to the next day?)

"Well done Sky, you get into one of the most prestigious universities ever and you are late. What is wrong with you?" Sky thought to himself as he entered the campus. He had no idea what he was doing on where his dorm was. So he decided to sit on the closest bench and wait for someone to come along. "Damn this is a bad idea." He mumbled.

shade said uncomfortably, " you need to promise not to freak out, or we may have some problems" 

 

she really didnt want to do it but it was the rules that she had to follow in order to stay at the school

"Whatever it is, I promise I won't freak out or go crazy or anything of the sort!" Night Song reassured Shade. She looked steadily and calmly into Shade's eyes. "I promise I won't. I'll stay calm and collected no matter what," she pressed on to make the grey pegasus comfortable.

Diamond trotted down past the row's of seat's. She opened her wings and flew onto the stage. She turned around and smiled. *I've missed you.* She thought, Looking at the massive theatre around her. She turned around and trotted backstage where she was pleased to see everything was the way she left it. She smiled and adjusted her hat, Then she trotted out the door's and back towards her room.

Lite Shade laid back on her bed, just staring at the ceiling. She saw the night was growing stronger, already signaling the end of the first day. She heard somepony coming inside, turning out to be Diamond.

"Hi Diamond... Ow, how was meeting the new-- ow... People?", she asked, wincing through her burns that still lingered.

Nightfall didn't know much about this new school, except that it was hard to get in to. He didn't even know his roommate. Oh well, hopefully his roommate would be a good roommate. He sighed and walked into the main office, asking if there were any rooms left. He showed them confirmation he was a student...

"It was good...What happened to you ?" She asked, Trotting over to her bag and pulling out a bottle of champagne.

She reached into a box next to her bag and took out two champagne glasses. "Its our first night...You want some champagne ? DON'T...Tell Anypony." She said, Using her magic to pull the cork out.

"It was good...What happened to you ?" She asked, Trotting over to her bag and pulling out a bottle of champagne.

She reached into a box next to her bag and took out two champagne glasses. "Its our first night...You want some champagne ? DON'T...Tell Anypony." She said, Using her magic to pull the cork out.

 

"I've had a bit of a duel with a student here... I can tell she's into necromancy...", Lite said, pulling up a chair and sitting next to Diamond. "And don't worry, I'm old enough to drink."

 

She rubbed her back, still feeling the charred remains of her coat from where she got shot out of the void...

Lila gave Cascade a fake smile. "Yeah i guess it was. And all that chemistry stuff i taught myself along with a few necromancy spells like these." She said making the little orange and red balls of light fly around Cascades head. "Well its late so im going to rest up. Night." Lila hopped back onto her bed and found it cold, which she liked and almost instantly fell asleep.

Night Song's eyes widened and her wings almost flared out. She had to force her to remain calm and collected just like she promised. She took a deep breath and replied,"A halfling? What's a halfling?" Despite the fact that her roommate is sort-of a changeling, Night Song still intended to befriend the shy halfling.

"Alright man, see you in the morning, I'm starting off with Biology." He waited until Ty left and a few minutes extra before he sat up, reaching again into his bag, this time pulling out a modern looking device called a hooftop, which he set on his bedside table, still in it's case. He stretched his back and lay flat on his bed, under his covers. He eventually drifted off to sleep.

He had been informed he had a dorm room all to himself.

He walked into the hall and opened his room.

"Yaaay. At least it's all to myself for now..."

He unpacked his small bundle of things and relaxed a bit. He wondered who the mares were across the hall. By reading a sign, he knew  their first names were Light and Lite. Maybe it was only a coincidence they were roomies...

He realized he was a day late. He moaned. He also remembered that to fulfill an elective, he was scheduled to take a culinary class. He picked that one because it sounded better than the other options. Only thing was, the teacher had the same name as one of the mares across the hall. He peeped out of his room, then trotted across the hall and knocked on the door shyly.

"I bet I could take you both on." She chuckled and took a big gulp of her champagne. "I'm joking." She said, Pouring a little more champagne into her glass to fill it up. "I do this every year...Open a bottle of champagne...Er. I did last year and I am going to do it again this year...And the next year and the next year and the next year and so on." She smiled and took another sip.
