Diamond smiled. "I come here all the time...But over the summer I was visiting my friend Star so I have been away for a while, Sweet and I have a tea party every so often." She chuckled and wondered over to a grey and yellow shirt. "This may look good on you." She, Picking up the shirt and holding it for Lite to take.

Lila stopped them and looked at Arrow with sad eyes. She searched for the words she wanted say, but couldn't think of a way to say it without hurting him or her. "Arrow.... I..." *dammit why does this have to be so hard?* "I like you, but I don't think this is going to work out. Im just not feeling what I was feeling before. Im sorry." with that Lila backed away slowly and then turned and walked away with her head down in shame, wishing Arrow would stop her and try to convince her to not leave.

Cascade trotted out of the gym, tail drooping tiredly. Those tryouts had taken far longer than she had wanted. For some reason, Red Tide, the coach, had wanted them to all go one at a time, and Cascade had to admit, Tide's regimen had been an exhausting one, even for her. Trotting along, eyes bleary, she nearly trotted into somepony, barely avoiding a collision. She blinked a few times to clear up her vision so it didn't happen again, and saw Lila talking with that colt from earlier. She seemed rather upset, but Cascade hesitated to approach and ask her what was wrong. She didn't want to interfere, and it looked like they didn't want to be interrupted, so... Cascade stood around awkwardly, trying not to eavesdrop, and trying to decide what to do.

I just..." she didn't finish her sentence but instead walked back up to him, tears threating to escape. She realized it was probably hurting her more than him as his expression seemed unmoved, which hurt her even more.

"Then why is it?" he sits on his rump waiting for a reply keeping the same unfazed look as before, he wanted to know, he could change for her, he just needed to know what was the problem. He sees the tears and yet his expression still didn't change. "there's no reason to cry." He said. "If you don't think this is going to work out, then don't cry over it." He continued.

"I..." Lila tried to speak but she was completely at loss for words. She didn't know why. Maybe she was just over reacting and stressed out. Was that the problem? She stared into his unmoving gaze for a few more seconds before putting a hoof in front of her. And then another, and another until she was just inches from him his eyes still unmoving. Lila then slowly placed a hoof on his chest experimentally and she felt her heart rate rise slightly. She waited to see what he would do next, almost afraid of what the outcome might be.

Lila watched as Arrow walked away completely heart broken. She turned her head and spotted Cascade in the distance and looked at her as if pleading for her to do something. Lila then rushed towards the dorm room, leaving Cascade and Arrow behind.

Arrow was heading to his engineering class. It was finally sinking in what he just did. He stop for a seconed to see if Lila was still there. *Meh, I'll just apologize to her after class* But, will she accept? After what he did will she still go back to him? He'll find out after his class.

Ty was done with classes for the day. After the smoke incident it seemed the university students had gone on about their day without trouble. Wow, didn't imagine I'd have this time to kill. What should I do? After he thought that, he decided to just fly around the university until he found something to do.

((Sorry about that. I was extremely tired last night, and I fell asleep during the post. ))

 

Lite held the shirt up to her, seeing it matched part of her mane and her eyes. Immediately, she grabbed a small shopping basket, and folded up the shirt neatly, putting it inside the basket. She looked back over to Diamond.

 

"It does... Just like the dresses... And I hope you didn't mind me using another one of them.", she said, twirling a bit in her cobalt dress, matching her coat.

Now...I need to take a look at...RIBBONS." Diamond squeaked, Hugging a blue mare sitting behind a desk, Sewing a ribbon onto a hat. the mare smiled and hugged Diamond back. "Hello Di." She looked over at Lite and smiled. "Hello, my name is Blue Ribbon." She said, Holding out her hoof to shake Lite's.

Lila reached her and Cascades dorm room and entered, locking the door behind her. She hopped on her bed looking up at the plain celling. *what ever, you dont need him. You've fended for yourself for this many years and you came out fine. You can keep going with or without him* she thought to herself almost calm.

Cascade watched the scene with quite some apprehension; it couldn't have gone any worse for her roommate, could it? She watched as Lila trotted away, back towards Prancer, looking kind of empty. She decided that Lila would probably want some time alone - she wouldn't want Cascade, who was still almost a total stranger - there to comfort her. Instead, she wandered blankly around campus, not sure what to do with herself if she wasn't going to go back and take a nap.

Rambler sighed and got up from where he had been sitting on his bed.

 

"I'm getting tired of sitting here doing nothing. Cascade must be out of tryouts by now, I'm going to go see if I can find her", He said to Star.

 

He left Prancer and began searching the campus. As he walked he sang an old song.

Star Rain was let out of the clinic with only some medicine to clear some more of the remaining smoke out of her lungs. Medicine bottle in a very safe place in her saddlebags, she went over to psycology, happy to finally get away from the nurse who kept fussing over her like she had just been impaled with a spike.

Lila sat in the room bored out of her mind. She paced around a bit but that didn't help much and she still had time before drama class (don't forget about that flame dancer), not looking forward to seeing Arrow there. Ultimately she decided to get a new saddlebag since the other one was old and waterlogged now. Lila exited the dorm leaving Prancer Hall behind her and the university as well.

After half an hour of searching for the town that was supposed to be "near by" Lila went around looking at the shops for a place that sold saddlebags and what not, but had little luck.

Arrow exited his engineering class, never payed attention to the complex machine theories. He walks around the university trying to think of how to approach Lila, with his depressed mood, he thought of a few ways but didn't like them. Arrow thought of just staying alone for now on. *I'll be fine, I don't need a mare to be happy.* He thinks to himself. *All though... She did take care of me when I needed it.* He was having second thoughts about what he did. *Maybe she'll have drama with me for the next class?* He was wishing. Hooves crossed it was.

Bored, Cascade sat on a bench, humming a quiet victory tune to herself, and wondered where Rambler could be. She managed to occupy herself by watching some pegasus stranger flying around in the sky. He didn't look like he had anywhere he needed to be, either; in fact, he seemed kind of lost. She wished she could fly like that, too.

Having nothing better to do she walked around the campus for a while trying to find anything entertaining to do. While walking around she spotted Cascade and gave her a friendly wave, then continued on her way to where ever it was she was going. Lila decided to pick up a map since the dorms where a bit of a walk. Looking at the map she found an area where she could try her hoof at table tennis. *Hmm, that actually sounds like fun. I think ill go try it out* she thought to herself, putting the map back where she got it.

He stuttered in a faint voice as he walked from behind her. *Don't act quickly, do a slow pace* He said to himself hopping that Lila would accept him back... Hopefully.

*Ugh... why?* she thought desperately to herself as she turned to meet him with a smile that could only be described as 'real'. "Oh, uhh, hey there Arrow." she began, "What's up?" she asked hiding the anger in her voice. But even with the smile and sweet tone her body language gave away her true feelings.

He had gotten over his frustration with stabilizing their relationship, whatever they were considered, but he had been obligated to ask her about that date that she said he owed her. Great, what should we do? *mental facehoof* Um, we could... go shopping! Yea. Flying straight down to the mare and the now seen colt that seemed to be making conversation with Lila, Typhoon approached a potentially dangerous situation. I'm not much with words at all, I will admit, I didn't care at first if you left me, but I see now that..." He paused, finding words to say but there were only three. "I... Love you." He whinces thinking that it was too fast and that it would just out right make her laugh.

Lila listened to what Arrow had to say for himself, slightly entertained at his petty attempts to win her over again. When he said those three words two thoughts came to mind. 1. He had to be kidding 2. Chances of getting back with him were slim. And she liked it that way. But she decided if he was stubborn and wanted her back as much as he said he did, then she might consider it.

Lila then heard a familiar voice come from behind her, and she turned to meet Ty. "Perfect timing, Ty. I was looking for you." she lied with a smile. She then went and stood by his side, "I was wondering if you wanted to go do something? Or do you have something in mind already?" Lila glared at Arrow out of the corner of her eye.
