Lila had the clinic insight and saw no signs of Arrow there. That both worried her and made her glad, but she stopped to look around. After a minutes of doing so she spoted a large brow lump by the trash can. Lila cautiously went up to it seeing it was Arrow, and he wasnt breathing. At least she didnt think he was. It supprised her that the nurse didnt hunt him down, or that no pony saw him there. Just to be on the safe side she began a resurrection spell, hopping it didnt become incomplete...

(Im assuming arrow is 'dead' right now)

Arrow laid there faint breathing and smoke coming out s;ow;y through his mouth like he smoked a cigar. His eyes were still open, his body language calm not stiff, eyes darting around his area trying to find something to help him up. "That h-hurt..." he whimpered slowly lifting himself up. (Now why would I make MY character die?)

Diamond chuckled. "Don't worry, We have a while before I need to go." Then her stomach gave a large growl. She blushed. "I haven't noticed how hungry I am." She said, looking around Nightfall's room and seeing a set table (I think...)

His eyes were still open, his body language calm not stiff, eyes darting around his area trying to find something to help him up. "That h-hurt..." he whimpered slowly lifting himself up. Lila had a faint smile grow across her muzzle when she saw Arrow breathing and ended the spell. She helped Arrow up, giving him something to balance on. "Come on, you're going back to the clinic, I don't care what you say. You're just going to have to deal with it." Lila said her voice flat and emotionless.

Nightfall held the chair still, smiling at the good news that they would have a little while.

"Yeah... There- there's a place for you here, if you want."

He blushed a bit.

Diamond put her hoof on Nightfall's mouth. "Its ok. I want too." She smiled and sat down at the neatly set table. "You know...If you wanted to save that soup for a cold day or something...I will eat whatever." She said. "I'm easy." She chuckled and glanced out the window of Nightfall's room.

After hanging out for most of the day, Lite was smiling like crazy, as she split apart from him to wait on Diamond to accompany her in clothes shopping. She sat on her bed, sighing.

"Dammit."  Arrow replied voice kind of weak and shaky. He was feeling awkward about this. "I-it's just smoke. I'm fine, really." He never liked getting help from anypony, he'd rather deal with problems himself.

Cascade put her doodles away, and trotted out of her room. It was getting close to time for the tryouts. In fact, she didn't know anypony who was trying out. For the first time, she felt a spasm of nervous energy. It was time.

 

She decided to trot out of the building through the door in the Lounge area, so she could stop and hopefully get good luck wishes from Rambler before she went. Peeking in the door of the room, she saw him, still just sitting there. Deciding on the spot not to sneak up on him as he had earlier, she sat on the couch next to him. "Well... Tryouts are soon... I thought I'd say hi before I went..."

Rambler smiled when he saw Cascade sit down next to him.

 

"I'm glad you did; i'm always happy to see you. Good luck at the tryouts, not that you need it. I'm sure you'll do great. If you can do even half as well as you did last night, they'd be crazy not to put you on the team. I'd come cheer you on, but I don't think they'll let me. You know, wouldn't want to make everyone else feel bad or whatever. Will you come see me again when you're done so I congratulate you?"

I wonder where they went? the unicorn, oh forget it  Star Rain thought as she laid there on the stretcher. Ok, now this has gone from embarrassing to boring... She still couldn't move or talk much or but she could move her head a little. I guess I know what's going in my letter this evening...

"Of course," Cascade responded happily. "Don't get ahead of yourself, though. We don't know what other kinds of ponies will be there." It really was sweet of him, though, to already boldly pronounce that he would be congratulating her when she returned. She kissed him sweetly on the cheek, then said, "I'll see you later." 

 

Cascade trotted across campus to Paradise Gym, head held high, feeling like she was on top of the world.

In Rambler's mind he was still focused on the kiss. It was like everything was back to normal, and he couldn't be happier. After a few minutes he finally snapped out of it, and decided he might as well do something to pass the time until she got back. He got his guitar and headed back outside to play some music.

Lila let out a frustrated sigh, "NO. You're. Not." she said looking at him in the eyes. "Its not just smoke if its making you cough up blood. You're going to deal with having the nurse double check you, and you need to stop your arrogance. Its not like your going to be deemed a heretic for being checked up on. Arrows ears flopped down and looks down. *Tough love?* Did she really care that much about him? It made him feel guilty for some reason. Was it what she said? His 'arrogance'? So many question were running around in his mind, he didn't know what to do but say disobey that one command. "thank you." He said softly, softer than he intended.

Lila could feel her anger rise when Arrow spoke. She was about to burst out again but didn't. It wasn't easy but she kept herself from doing so. When they arrived back at the clinic Lila again turned to Arrow, and if looks could kill he would be six feet under right about now. "Sit." she said her tone clearly showing her anger. She then lowered her voice to a whisper still holding the venomous tone, "I don't care if you don't want to sit. You're going to sit there and let the nurse check on you and you're not leaving until she gives you the 'OK', got it?"

She fell on her bed and picked up a magic book, she begun to read what spell were in it that she would probably never preforme... But enjoyed reading and learning them...

Lila sat on the other side of the room, unsure of what Arrow had just said. 'Ik libe dischk?', some language she didn't know nor understand. She then saw him silently crying to himself and felt slightly bad for him and got up and sat next to him. *ugh, why did I have to do that stupid spell?* she thought to herself. She then hesitated with leaning her head on his shoulder. It was more for him than it was her, and she started feeling less agitated by doing the gesture.

He looks away and out a near by window. "I'm sorry for not being mature about the smoke." he said in a calm voice. "When I was a filly I used to play around with smoke bombs and created my own smoke with my father, and when you did the spell for the smoke and set off the fire alarm, heh..." He smirked at the flash back he was having. "Good time dad, good times."

"I, um- I don't have much else to eat... yet, at least... I haven't really gone out and tried to find a shop yet."

He blushed, looking down, obviously embarrassed. He shuffled his hooves a bit.

"Maybe- maybe later, you can help me find a good shop where I can get some... things."

Her face was starting to turn a little red while she scootted closer and closer to Arrow, seeing just how close she could get to him.

Arrow feels the warmth of Lilas body and fur touching against his. After the kiss on the cheek he smirks and wraps a hoof around her pulling her as close as possible towards him. Arrow gives Lila a kiss on the fore head then turning his head away to look back outside.

Rambler finished playing and sighed. Cascade's tryouts were going on longer than he had expected, and he was tired of singing. He wandered around the campus aimlessly for the second time that day and eventually returned to his dorm. Sitting on his bed with nothing to do, he wondered what Star Keeper was doing right now.

He almost replied aloud, blushing a bit more.

"I'm not sure... If I was, I'd give a full answer. Until I am sure, we can wait, right..?"
