[Miss Light Diamond 2,802]

shade followed diamond outside, but she felt like she was walking into a slingshot as she got close to the exit.

 

"you need to help me get away from this place, i should leave but i cant... i cant leave but i need to. this whole place just makes me hungery" shade said with a panic tone and with a bad hunger to her eyes

 

Diamond brushed the snow off a bunch just outside the door and sat down. "Shade...Let me tell you a story. Once...quite a while ago, there was a mare who fell in love with a colt. She loved him very much and...well she thought he loved her back. After a while she discovered he was a changeling who was just using her to feed. But...the mare did something stupid...she thought she could make him love her, so she did everything she could do to make him love her. after a while she was tired...pretty much every day all day, so she had to tell him. His reaction was to laugh at her and leave without a second glance...I...I felt crushed, and that's when I knew Changelings were...evil. But, that's why I have so much hope for you Shade, You are connected to your pony side, and that means...you will always be able to overcome any urges you may get...like me. I gave up once and learned that no one should ever have to do that. Everyone has a chance...and you need to learn that you are stronger than your...urges, You have control over yourself."

Lila shook her head lightly. "No its not. You saw the way he yelled at me, the way he looked at me it just..." She finally broke into tears and leaned into Arrow. Now she truely felt like everything that happened was her fault. She just hoped that she could at least talk to Arcane one more time.

When Lila burst into tears Arrow warped both his hooves around her now trying to comfort her. He felt mad. Not just mad, enraged,  . Plus, seeing Lila cry made him feel sorrow for her. When Lila burst into tears Arrow warped both his hooves around her now trying to comfort her. He felt mad. Not just mad, enraged, . Plus, seeing Lila cry made him feel sorrow for her. *thats it, last straw* Lila thought as she glared at him for a moment. She then spoke in a clear, low voice. "We are over." With that she jumped off the bed and walked out the room, slamming the door behind her. She then went back to her own room now with the feeling of being lonely accompanied her. She got into her own bed again and pulled the covers over her and quickly feel to sleep.

"........ Buck" Arrow said softly when Lila left. He throws his hooves up in the air and falls back on his bed tearing up now heart broken. "Such a morbid way of me. Now single again, what am I going to do now?" He thought aloud as if someone just tore up his heart. Lila. He regreted it, he regreted to let Lila in his room, he regreted ever speaking to the mare, he regreted... Kissing her. He never thought breaking up would be so tough. It probably wasn't a good night right? They'll apologize in the morning and everything will be back to normal no? He hoped so.

Diamond sighed. "You're really missing the point here...If you knew how to control it you wouldn't be getting these cravings. And yes, I did." She said, keeping her annoyance hidden.

She looked out at the many buildings around the university grounds and sighed again.

"Well then why do you trust me? If you've had experience with changeling before, why do you.... Never mind... I am trying, I'm just so tired and I feel drained in the winter. But thanks.... Now I just need help finding something to do to keep me occupied. You have any idea what I could do?" She asked.

"I trust you...Because You Are Part Pony." She said, letting her annoyance get out just slightly. She had explained this several times now and Shade still didn't get it. "I've said several times, that you are part pony, which means you can have control over your changeling side. And dancing is a good distraction."

The music had changed, but Coco's dancing didn't change much. She was still jumping and switching her hooves, stepping on the ground and turning around, moving around. She didn't know that DIamond disappeared - she could hardy percieve and in this crowded room, it was ever worse.

She watched Slimy for a while. He looked like a goat on the ice while dancing. "How cute." she giggled.

The music had changed, but Coco's dancing didn't change much. She was still jumping and switching her hooves, stepping on the ground and turning around, moving around. She didn't know that DIamond disappeared - she could hardy percieve and in this crowded room, it was ever worse.

But then she saw that somene stopped to dance. She looked up and saw it was Nightfall.

"What's up?"

She watched Slimy for a while. He looked like a goat on the ice while dancing. "How cute." she giggled.

 

Nightfall was glad that Coco hadn't thought, or at least tried, something awkward.

"Not much. I was just looking for Diamond when I just about bumped into you."

He looked over at Slimy and tried hard to stifle a chuckled.

He looked back down at the pegasus, blushing a little.

"I feel like I've danced enough, so, um... if you don't mind..."

He started slowly backing away.

"I... Um... Ok then... Well... This was interesting..." Shade said starting to walk inside seeing that diamond was starting to get annoyed.

 

"Yah... I think il dance... Except that I don't know how to... And Iv never, done it before"

Diamond stood up. "Dancing is easy...all you gotta do is jump around and let the music flow through you." She smiled and walked back inside but held the door open for Shade. She noticed Nightfall slowly backing off the dance floor and she couldn't help but chuckle slightly.

Arcane was about to knock on Lila's door, but he still had no idea what to say to her. 'I'm sorry' wouldn't cut it. He just needed answers to his questions. Arcane knocked on Lila's door and waited for an answer, hoping she wasn't mad at him...

Nightfall blushed, and barely avoided being hit by Coco. He looked at the ground, because if he looked up, he would have been looking at her flank. To avoid this, he tried trotting up so he was beside her, then kept walking at her own pace, slowing his big stride.

"You did well, too, Coco..."

He made sure he was far enough away from Coco that Sapphire wouldn't suspect anything.

(Which Sapphire, darling? BUSTED. HES CHEATING ON YOU DIAMOND)

His ears drooped slightly, and he blushed.

"She just got on the dance floor.. but she's with somepony else... Who- who's with her..?"

He tried standing a little taller, but didn't move towards the dance floor.

"I think it's some mare... It might be a student of hers, but... I don't know..."

He started feeling a little sick on the inside.
