((OOC: Sorry for slow responses. For some reason, I'm not getting any notifications from when I'm quoted...))

 

Lite Shade nervously laughed a little at her joke, sipping a bit more of her champagne. "You know... Even though it's just been a few years, it's been weird being on my own... I wonder how my master is going along... He said he wanted to go to the Crystal Kingdom to try and make it so I may enter..."

"Your master ? And what do you mean by all alone ? I'm confused" Diamond said, Sipping her drink. Then she heard a knock on the door.

 

He realized he was a day late. He moaned. He also remembered that to fulfill an elective, he was scheduled to take a culinary class. He picked that one because it sounded better than the other options. Only thing was, the teacher had the same name as one of the mares across the hall. He peeped out of his room, then trotted across the hall and knocked on the door shyly.

She put her drink down, stood up and trotted over to the door, Using her magic to open it up. "Hello." She said to the handsome blue Alicorn standing in the hallway.

"Oh... Um, sorry if I'm interrupting something... But I was looking for a Miss Light Diamond..? I just arrived on campus and want to apologize for missing my first culinary class... that is, if this room is the room she stays in..."

He flushed, making his cheeks look a bit purple.

"Yes... Master Sombra, king of shadows. I'm his pupil. He took me under his hoof to learn about shadow magic...", Lite said, looking over to who was at the door, hiding her glass of champagne to where this pony might not see it. "Hi...", she simply said, wondering who he was...

Ty awoke in the middle of the night at the pool room. He hadn't  noticed the time and somehow managed to drift off. Perhaps he'd been tired. He took a look at the clock in the room. He should be in bed right now. In fact, he was surprised somepony hadn't come around and closed the pool room. He packed his stuff up and headed back to the dorm. Slowly creeping in, he hoped he hadn't awakened Air Opal.

This startled him a bit more. Not the Sombra part, but the part that Light Diamond was in the student dorms and that she was an alicorn.

"Um, Lite, Sweetie...Sombra...Well, he's kinda evil. He was king of the Crystal Empire...And he did some pretty bad stuff. You didn't hear about this ?" She asked. Using her magic to pull another chair from the kitchen so Nightfall could sit down.

 

Lite gave Diamond another confused. "Master Sombra... Bad? That's preposterous. He's the ruler of the Void, and a kind one at that. I'm his best student... And he would tell me everything... What are you saying? He... No... Tell me what you have heard. It can't be true... None of it..."

Lila gave Cascade a fake smile. "Yeah i guess it was. And all that chemistry stuff i taught myself along with a few necromancy spells like these." She said making the little orange and red balls of light fly around Cascades head. "Well its late so im going to rest up. Night." Lila hopped back onto her bed and found it cold, which she liked and almost instantly fell asleep.

Cascade blinked a few times, curious about Lila's response. Then, shooing the floating fiery orbs away kindly, she pulled on a pair of pajamas and climbed into her own bed. She lay there, shifting back and forth, uncomfortable in the new bed. It irritated her wings. Finally, she just rolled over and lay on her stomach, and eventually fell into her dreams...

She was starting to softly cry onto the empty mattress. She was lucky there were no sheets on the bed. She hated staining things...

Diamond used her magic to levitate the blanket's off of her bed and onto Lite. She then trotted over and climbed into her bed, She pulled the sheet's over herself and closed her eye's. *I really hope Lite is going to be alright.* She thought, Rolling over and slowly drifting off to sleep.

 

 

 

Early the next morning, Diamond awoke and trotted into the kitchen to start making breakfast.

Typhoon awoke once more. This time, it wasn't to the cold surface of the swimming room floor. He was back in the confined space that was his dorm bed. He looked over his shoulder to check the time on the alarm clock. It was time for class. Ironically, Ty had forgotten to set it the night before.

"*yawn*," Ty went as he went to the dorm bathroom to check his face. His mane was messy, and his eyes, puffy and red as they were, made it look as if he were high. He washed his face with cold water and combed his mane, got his stuff for the day together and went out. He didn't have the mind to get a proper breakfast, so he just got a snack from the nearby vending machine and ate it on the way to chemistry class.

Air Opal's hooftop, as programmed, let out a soft ring, barely reaching Air Opal's ears. Without even opening his eyes or looking at a clock, he knew it was seven o'clock in the morning. He opened his eyes and squinted at the window, still closed by the blinds. He stood up as quietly as he could, leaving the binds blocking the sunlight to not disturb Ty. Class would start in an hour, at 8, so he headed into the small area that was qualified as a kitchen, though he preferred to refer to it as a simple meal making area. It was hardly big enough to fit three ponies. Now, what to eat...

He walked into his own room and got into his bed. He closed his eyes, but couldn't fall asleep. There was something about his teacher, Light Diamond... Something about her being an alicorn, and him not knowing...

 

He woke up the next morning well rested. He shook himself and found a kitchen in his room, but nothing really to make. So he got up and went to the cafeteria.

Cascade woke, and had a mini-panic attack. There was some.... strange weight on her back. Something fluffy. She tried to wriggle around, to see if it would fall off, but it didn't, whatever it was. She extended her wings, and saw nothing on her back, and the weight from it had lifted with the wings... Now that she thought of it, her wings felt oddly heavy... She looked at them, and gave a shriek.  They weren't her wings. They looked just like the wings of any other pegasus! The feathers had actually grown! She almost started crying in relief...

Rambler woke up at the crack of dawn, having something he wanted to do before class. He ate his usual breakfast of whiskey and bananas (well, mostly whiskey), showered, dressed, grabbed his bag and headed downstairs.

 

He headed out to the middle of campus and got out his guitar. He then put his hat upside down on the ground at his hooves, in case anyone was feeling charitable this morning. Then he began to play one of his favorite songs.
