Esme raced back and forth, rushing to get everything ready. She assembled about half of the refreshments platter, before remembering the music. The blue pony dashed to the living room, and almost forgot entirely about the food. Facehoofing, she ran back to the kitchen, only to realize that she never did put on any music. She trotted back, and turned on the stereo to her favorite Dubstep channel, and relaxed a little when Skrillex's "Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites" came on- her favorite song. Esme snapped back to attention, and finished the rest of the platter, everything ranging from sushi to carrots and dip. She picked up a salmon roll, popped it in her mouth, and was pleased with the result. "Decorations!" the weather team captain exclaimed, and dashed to the living room, only to find Eldrich putting up the last balloon. "Done and done." The dragon said, pulling the knot on the end to a chair. "Now we just have to wait for the guests."

Parso Incendiare was standing in the elevator on the way up to a party he was invited to, he looked into the mirror and saw he was wearing his best tie and fedora

"oh, I hope I'm not overdressed"

the elevator stopped and Parso trotted out, he remembered the number and soon after found the door. he knocked on the door and waited for the hostess to greet him

It was already nighttime whenever the party started. A small was opened up right near the house, as a cobalt mare stepped out, wearing nothing but a yellow-beaded necklace. Lite Shade could see that there was another pony waiting to go inside, so she stood next to him, also waiting.

"Oh, that must be them!" Esme rushed to the door of apartment 509, and swung it open, welcoming her guests inside. "Hello, my name is Esme, this is Eldrich, you probably know me as CosplayMare227 from MLH Forums. This is my apartment, don't sit on that chair unless you're a pegasus. It's made of cloud." She sped through the introduction, while Eldrich walked out the door. "I'm going to the Sapphire Shoppe in Clawsington, I'll get home around ten."

Encore trotted into the lobby of the apartment complex, head held high. He had with him his saddlebag, oddly shaped as it was, as it contained several musical instruments and parchment and quill, as he had decided, in case the party's a dud, he'd better have a backup plan. The elevator arrived, and he stepped into it, and examined the mirror. A lavender unicorn looked haughtily back at him, with its bright, intelligent green eyes and untidy maroon mane, tinged with purple. Like him, the unicorn in the mirror wore an expensive leather jacket, a matching fedora and scarf, and a lumpy saddlebag. 

 

There was already a small gathering of ponies outside of apartment 509, but they were trickling inside. Encore followed, bumping into somepony leaving. He didn't spare the departing fellow a second glance as she brushed himself off, and hung his jacket on a hook inside the door. He chose to keep the scarf, hat, and lumpy saddlebag on for the moment, though. Both scarf and fedora were similarly designed, black pinstripe. Encore glanced around, taking in the house.

Aurora Flare walked into the lobby with an elegant air. Heading into the elevator, she tried to remember the floor she needed to go to. I think it was... 509? Yeah, that sounds right. She clicked the button for floor five, and made sure her mane looked okay while it went up. She flared her wings for a moment, making sure there weren't any feathers out of place.

 

Once the elevator arrived at the fifth floor, Aurora carefully found her way to apartment number 509. Her taller figure meant she had to be careful not to stand up too straight, as her horn would brush up against the ceiling. Arriving in front of the apartment, she realized the door had just closed. She knocked and waited.

"Oh, you must be... Encore? Nice clothes. I'm Esme, and this is my apartment. Welcome!" Esme smiled and greeted her guest, leading him inside with the others. "So, refreshments are over there, Minecraft over there, and the apple bobbing is over there." She said, pointing her hoof around the room.

After Lite had walked in, she took sight of the apartment, smiling a little. This was a quaint little place... And then, she took sight of the apple bobbing area, to where she walked towards, her smiling growing a little. 

 

Let's see... Should I? Why not.

 

She dove her head inside the barrel, hoping for an apple.

Minecraft? Apple bobbing? Well, this party already wasn't living up to Encore's hopes, but he smiled nonetheless. "Thank you, Esme," he said, his accent rather pronounced as that of the Canterlot Upper Class. ((Think Queen's English)) The apartment seemed rather small at first glance. He wondered whether it was larger than it appeared. He sat near the refreshments, humming something to himself.

he held her hoof and gave it a small kiss as it was the proper Canterlot greeting. he trotted inside the appartment and sat on a chair, hoping that other guests may arrive soon

shade was looking like her regular pegasus self. she was somewhat not exited to go to this party, but she goes anyways...

 

she looks at the room number and knocked on the door. she sighed afterwards and debated weather to leave or not. but if she could find a special somepony, then she could gain love from them and unlock more of her powers that she would probably never use. but acting like a changeling was the last thing on her mind.

Sky entered the apartment complex and his immediate thought was *Screw taking the elevator.* So he teleported his way up until he found himself standing next to a dark female Pegasus. "Hello, my name is Sky." He said to her. He could feel something was different about this mare but he shrugged it off.

Aurora Flare took in what all was in the small apartment, and, after seeing that Minecraft hadn't been occupied yet, grabbed a California sushi roll and sat on the couch, levitating a controller with her magic. A new world had been made just before the party, she could tell- there were no structures, just the "natural" landforms.

 

((Party told my afk that she let me in, so.... Yeah. Also, is the Minecraft world creative or survival, and on peaceful, easy, normal, or hard?))

"Hey, you want a death match? Five days and five nights on creative to build your house and bulk up your inventory before we turn it to survival hard mode, last pony standing is the winner?" Esme said, noticing Aurora and sitting down on the cloud chair, taking up a controller with her wings.

 

((Currently creative/easy, daytime, full of dungeons and the occasional creeper, mountains and beaches everywhere. Plus, you got the nickname wrong! ))

"Oh, Esme, you. Are. ON!" Flare smiled, looking in to Esme's eyes with a challenging glare. Still smiling, she focused her attention back to Minecraft. Going into the item library, she pulled out wooden planks, a door, stone, and glass, and began her house. She mined out a large area one block deep, and filled it with stone, and started putting walls up with the wooden planks.

"Ok, suit yourself. You obviously have no experience with this kind of seed." Esme dug down a few blocks, until she hit a dungeon with a lavafall, diamond, coal, redstone, and a small pond. She blocked up the lava to a small area with a one-block barrier around it, and flew back up to the surface. There, the pegasus dug a pit next to the dungeon, taking care not to dig into it. She lured some animals and various mods into the pit, and covered the top with glass. "Viola, instant, unlimited food source."

By the time Flare had finished her walls, it was getting dark, so she put some torches up, and quickly put a flat stone roof on her house. I'll just put some food in this chest... She thought as she pulled a chest, a 64 stack of bread, melon, and cooked checked and beef, and placed the chest and put the food in. She then made a staircase down until she hit a dungeon, and put some torches up. Seeing iron and redstone, she knew she'd be fine. "Wrong, girlie. I got this."

 

She then went back up, pulled out fence, a gate, wheat, a bow, and some arrows, and went outside. Fencing in a 10 x 10 area up against her house and leaving the gate open, she lured two pigs, two sheep, two mooshrooms, and two cows into it, and closed the gate after she left.

"Screw this." Sky mumbled as he teleported to the other side of the door and opened it for the dark pegasus. "Waiting really isn't my style." He said to her with a smile. "I assume Esme will be okay with me letting myself and you in anyway." He then levitated a drink that he assumed was alcoholic towards him and downed about half of it.

Lite was a bit startled by the stallion dipping in and grabbing an apple, as she conjured another towel for him. "That's what I was trying to do... Guess I just need more practice with it.", she said, levitating the towel to him. "And I'm Lite Shade. But you can call me Lite."

"I better not have stuffed things up with her, oh please hope I didnt stuff anything up. I really want to get to know her, maybe even become more than a friend, but i guess in due time"
