Parso poured a cup of punch and handed it to Lite

he then proceeded to lead her to a couch, they both sat up on it. Parso managed to catch a glimpse of her eyes

"sweet Luna on a pogo-stick! her eyes a beautiful"

he then proceeded to lead her to a couch, they both sat up on it. Parso managed to catch a glimpse of her eyes

Lite looked a little flustered when he asked about her eyes. "Uh... I really don't know what to say about myself..."

"Eh, screw this. Esme threw her controller to the ground, and flew over to the apple bobbing barrel. "It's not a party without some action, is it?" She dunked her head in with a loud, noticeable splash, and emerged a few seconds later, with a shiny Figi apple in her mouth and a triumphant look on her face. She tossed it up into the air, caught it with her left wing, rolled it across her back, only to flip it up again with her right wing, and let it fall in her mouth, spitting out the core. "Now that's what I call action!"

"Oh, thanks..." Flare mumbled in disagreement as she saved the game and got up, putting down the controller. Walking over to the refreshment table, she got herself a glass of water and ate a Tempura Shrimp roll. Realizing she had her wings tight up against her body, she relaxed them a bit. Flare glanced around the room. Lots of ponies bobbing for apples, a few scattered in other places.

There was nothing to do and shade was living up to her name... Staying as a shadow in the background.

Encore looked up from where he had been scribbling music notes on a sheet of paper. A dark pegasus had taken a seat not far from him, and she... She was holding green fire? Huh. Encore decided not to bother himself much with it, and pulled an intricately carved wooden flute out of his saddlebag. It had patterns of green embossed upon the dark wood in which it was carved. He played a few notes on it, looking at his music, then, seeming dissatisfied, scribbled something out on the sheet of paper. This dubstep was too loud, he couldn't hear himself think.

Her horn glowed black for a second, as she silenced Night Shimmer for the rest of the night. Then, without knowing it, she took a sip of her drink, now speaking a bit softer.

Encore looked up from his music again, still irritated at the loud music that was playing. He barely considered this newfangled noise to be real music. It was a bunch of computer noises. Music came from the soul, not a machine. Scowling, he stuffed his notebook and flute back into his saddlebag, and looked around for something to do. The first thing his eyes caught were a couple acting... Well, affectionate might be a good word to describe it. Encore averted his eyes just as the mare began to lean in, presumably for a kiss. What else was there? Well, there's MineCraft, but he preferred to play solely on creative mode... There was the apple bobbing, but something that infantile was far beneath him... And there was that pegasus mare from earlier, the one with the fire. There was another mare sitting by the refreshments. With nothing better to do, Encore sighed, and trotted over to the darker one, who was still playing with a flame, taking the seat beside her.

 

With nothing better to say, Encore vocalised his thoughts. "I must admit, it's rather..." he searched for a word to use, "...rare to see a pegasus manipulating fire. Name's Encore," he said, with a slight tip of his hat and nod of his head.

Esme looked around her apartment, dismayed to see pretty much everypony with somepony else. 'I only wish Blaine was here' she thought, munching on the apple. "Oh, um, hey there, Yavolin. Been a while, hasn't it? I mean, last time we met was the Wonderbolts' Training Camp, or whatever..." she said, spotting the stallion. "So, uh, hi."

((OOC: It always seems that Yavolin and Esme end up in the same romance Roleplay. It started with Cloud Chaser's Young Love, the first RP I ever used Esme in, in which the two danced together. I'm talking about Darklord[insertseriesofnumbershere]'s The Wonderbolts' Training Ground For Elite Flyers.))

Encore watched Shade reignite the fire on her hoof most interestedly. But, after a brief moment, he looked away from it, a dignified look on his face. He didn't want her to think he was staring or anything. Yet he couldn't help a smile at her comment. "Well, it's good to hear I'm not the only one who's not a fan of the music here..." His ears had been twitching slightly with every loud crack or unnecessary wub the speakers insisted on shouting to the heavens.
