"i will take second and allow you to catch up on some reading, oh and by the way i would look up about a three headed snake just incase, the zebra was having a dream or a nightmare i'm not sure, but he mentioned a snake and thats the only snake in the book" he said smiling back at Slicer. Aqua then shouted over to north "hey its getting late, if we are staying here then we need to set up camp, i will fetch fire wood for the night". Aqua then wondered not to far from the group collecting fire wood. He collected a large quantity of wood and tied it together with the rope he had in his satchel, when all the twigs where tied together they were the size of a hay bale, Aqua easily picked up the sticks and branches being used to hurling and lifting hay on the farm all hours of the day, then returned to the group and got a small fire started.

"Fire...Is a bad idea. It will tell any monster's nearby that we are here. It will suck but that's the way it has to go." He said to Aqua. "Everypony need's to get lots of sleep...We cant be up all night fighting back three headed snakes." He grabbed the book from his bag and started flip through, He sat down by the rest of the group.

Frostbites ears perked up at hearing this "That's not a bad idea, but unless everypony here wants to catch a cold before morning, North needs to put up a tent before I make it snow." Why didn't I think to bring my own? She thought as she stood up, walking to the edge of the group. "Better steer clear unless you want covering" she began charging her magic. "And North!" she shouted, "It would be best to hurry up with that tent, otherwise things are going to get cold in a hurry!"

"i thought about that and i dont really want to be fighting or trying to keep watch in pitch black circumstances" he then looked up and could barely see out the top of the jungle to see the sky, "we will get hardly any light from the moon if its out" he stopped what he was doing so that he could put the small fire out if needed "it is up to you, if you dont want a fire, fair enough i will put it out but we have no tents set up yet, so if the temperature drops then it wil be cold and if anyone needs food cooking they will have to go with out" Aqua said but not in a argumentative way just trying to sort out the situation with slicer, because he has respect for other trained fighters.

Hearing the somewhat raising tone coming from across the way, Frostbite stopped channeling to listen in. 

"What's going on over there now?" she asked herself. Of course she hoped nothing would come of the situation, but after this first encounter she still wasn't entirely sure how everyone felt - not to mention clash of interests.

"No problem at all," Star Rain replied, feeling oddly happy at that single word. To her, it was like magic she never attempted. She then took some ointment and applied to her own wounds after using some of the moss Leaf brought back to soak up the blood spilling out her wounds.

"If that's the case, then no shields from me," she said in response. "My shields emit a cyan light," she explained. She took out a hood from her saddlebags and used it as an undersized blanket. It was big, but it would only fit an 8 year-old version of herself. She held on to every shard of warmth she could and took out her jungle guide to read.

North had been fumbling with a pair of tentpoles, hooves shivering slightly, and finally had the thing set up. "Hey, Frostbite, it's up," he called. "Alright, who had offered to keep watch? Right. Aqua, Slicer? Could you two take first watch? Wake the others at moonhigh."

Frostbite breathed a cold sigh of relief, then began limping over to the tent. "You uh, might want to wait outside for a few minutes" she warned, before ducking inside. "There's nothing in here you don't mind getting...cold. Is there?" She began channeling once more and after several moments she managed to kick up a small blizzard inside the tent. Not as powerful as the explosion on the boat...she didn't want to demolish the tent after all. 

 

She looked around, seemingly pleased with her work, before vaporizing a spot for North to sleep on without lying directly on the ice. 

 

She then headed back outside "I'll be back shortly."

"I've offered to keep watch, and I think we agreed that I would take the first watch." Leaf corrected. "How old is this thing, does the sword have a mind where it chooses anyone it pleases to be taken with...?" he continued to wonder. He then heard something, but to only find out it was a branch and some wind.

"ok then slicer as you wish" Aqua put out the fire and stood up, he heard that he asked to go on guard with slicer, he then shouted over to leaf "me and slicer will take over now". Then looked back at slicer and said "it would be a privilege to be on guard with you tonight" Aqua walked over to where leaf was and sat down there.

Frostbite shouted over to the two ponies on their way to guard "Hey! You two never answered me earlier. You will wake me if something goes wrong wont you?"  She tilted her head as she awaited a response "I hope they don't think i'm weak..." she mumbled to herself.

Slicer nodded at Frostbite, Then he sat down next to Aqua. "I'm nothing special...In fact...Allot of the time I get called a monster...Or evil...Or insane...Its all true of course...But still...It hurts." He said, Grabbing his knife and drawing lines in the dirt, Just like before.

"Everyone has a side to them that is hidden, no one is perfect trust me" Aqua said "I never let anything get to me it just makes you weaker if you let it get to you, the stronger pony listens and does something about it, you dont have to change just improve your defences" spoken from experience "And i think you're cool dont worry".

Aqua said a little loud just so Frostbite could hear "Dont worry i will shout you, but dont strain yourself unicorn i dont want to have to carry you" he said with a smile on his face.

Frostbite seemed content with this acknowledgement. She let out a small smile, before turning round and heading into the tent.

Curling up awkwardly on one side of the tent, tucking herself against the corner as best she could, she closed her eyes and tried to get to sleep. The pain in her legs was returning, but that probably only meant the cold was starting to work - that, or they where going septic. After a few minutes of tossing and turning uncomfortably, she rolled over and took off her leg braces. "much better" she sighed as she curled up once more.

North examined Dashie's sword closely. "I think I've seen its design before, but... I can't remember where, exactly... Huh." That was wierd. North had an photographic memory. It wasn't typical for him to forget things. His attention turned to Frostbite, and the tent she had just disappeared into. which was frigid and rigid and stiff. He smiled softly at the chilled wind coming from inside it. "Well... I need rest," he said, still wobbling slightly.

Frostbites ears perked up when she heard somepony enter the tent - immediately she charged her horn and pointed at the entrance, before noticing it was North and stopping. "Oh...sorry" she blushed a little "not the best manners for a house guest are they?" she looked around the frozen tent, and then at the unfrozen half of the floor on the other side "I...guess I overdid it a little, sorry. If you need me to get rid of any..."

Even though he had just started talking to slicer properly, he felt as if he had something in common with him. "That's okay, it's typical for anyone to forget things..." he said. "Thanks anyways, let me know if you remember." Leaf then headed over to a tree, pulled out his sleeping bag, and got into it. He then looked inside the information book to see if he can find anything about the sword he found.

Aqua asked because he loved training and for slicer to have been told to come here by Celestia, to protect us he must be a good worrior.

North smiled, slipping slightly and steadying himself. "Don't worry about it. It'll be fine. It's just been a while." Adjusting to the icy floor, he skated across it over to the little dry patch she had left. "You didn't need to leave any dry, you know. It's been a while, but I used to sleep on ice all the time. And our recoveries are what's important, not our comforts." With a shrug, he laid down in the soft dirt patch, completely unperturbed by the frigidity of the air. His mind cast about for a topic for small talk. "So where do you call home?" Not bad, North, not bad.
