Rocket wakes up and a flash of nervousness hang over him ,"oh gosh I haven't done this race in forever! what happens if I don't make it to the finish?!?"

 

sam hushes rocket and gives him a huge kiss, "Rocky, don't worry. you will do great. I know for afact you will do great!"

 

Hank smiles as they watched Rocket and Sam walk downstairs he started to set the table "once we are done we will head to the race." he smiles

Hank smiles as they watched Rocket and Sam walk downstairs he started to set the table "once we are done we will head to the race." he smiles

Rose smiles as she jumps up in joy "OF COURSE!" she said happily and hugs him tightly "i love you! this is so happy! i have to tell Hank!"

rocket smiled, "sounds good to me" and he sits at the table and only eats two apples and takes a glass of water.

 

sam laughs, "don't worry celestia. rocket never eats before a race. he says it will slow him down. im sure everything will be fine."

"I mean im overjoyed that you accept but how are we going to do this i mean this  moment is a turning point in our lives and i know hank is going to approve but what about Rocket and the others what will they say oh man maybe i should have picked my spot better." Aryios said trying to wrap his head around this.

Rocket smiles at the sight f the old track and the ponies he came to know at his ast races, "the race will begin in 30 minutes," the race announcer shouts. Hank got to his spot next to Rocket, "you ready to get beat?" he says jokingly. as he looks forward. Meanwhile chrysalis is setting a trap for hank and rocket in the middle of the track.

The horn sounds and every pony takes there starting marks. then a cannon is shot and all of the runners burst out. the top four are the zebra, followed by rocket and hank. then a unicorn. then two more zebras.

Aryios could see that the closer the got to the crystal empire the more the weather changed it became warmer and more like spring. Aryios couldnt shake the feeling that he has been there before "i feel like something has happened while i was there but what." He thought to himself quielty. "We will be arriving in the crystal empire in 5 minutes please make sure you have all of your belongings," The conductor said over the PA. Aryios nuzzled Rose lovingly "Hey rose wake up we will be in crystal empire in five minutes."

Hank soon caught up to Rocket and gulps "Rocket, ill get you out but i will die.." he went into the other room and put his hooves on the control panel as Rockets door unlocks. The radiation starts to go in hank's room as he fell to the groung writhing in pain.

 

rose woke up and smiles "yay! i cant wait!" she smiles "i am so happy! its so nice here! I cant wait to see Princess Cadence!"

Aryios and Rose get off the train the empire square is bustling with ponies running around and their manes had a shine to them "I guess this is what mother called a Crystal Pony." Aryios walked over to the information board it says "You are here at the Heartland Train station." Aryios looked over at Rose "Well Rose i guess we are off to the castle." Aryios couldnt help feeling that something happened here involving him but what.

Hank looks at him "finish the race.. tell my story.. once you reach the end come back for me! Win the race for me please!" he said in pain as he collapses to the ground watching ponies run past them and watches Rocket run off. He smiles and closes his eyes as he lays there

Rocket, more determined than ever, catches up to the zebra, He looks over and smiles, and takes off. (heh, lets set a course record and finish this race in 20 hours) he says to himself. he continues to run and keeps the lead barely for the first half. he hits the mid point and picks up his speed, now running in the 18 hour mark. The zbra still with him 100% of the way. it comes to the point where they see the finish at manehatten. Rocket takes off in a full sprint, leaving the zebra in the dust. when he reaches the finish line the crowd goes wild. seeing his time is 19 hours and 49 minutes, beating the old record by almost 15 minutes. he looks to sam and celestia, and remembers his friend. and he breaks down and starts to cry.

Rose smiles and nods and starts to hop of to the castle "Aryios i am so happy! we are going to see Cadence! How do i look? I feel like my Mane is messed up." she smiles and still hops off.

 

 

Celestia gulps and looks at Rocket "Where is hank! please tell us where!"

 

Hank coughs as he fell over and dies from radiation poisoning. He wakes up in a white room.

Two ponies are in the white room with hank. "hello.....Hank" the stallion says, the Mare smiles warmly and says, "its so nice to finally meet you! we hope you feel alright now that you are in there with us"

Aryios couldnt help but laugh "No my dear you look fine." Aryios and Rose Arrived at the castle. "Halt nopony enters the castle." Aryios said "In the name Omega Sentinel casval rem aryios i command you to grant me and my friend entrance." The two guards looked shocked "Wait you Casval's son please forgive us let us escort you to the throne room im sure princess cadence whould like to meet the son of the great sentinel himself." Aryios looked at Rose and Said "And didnt want to throw my fathers name like that out but what can you do." As Aryios and Rose walked into the castle. He thought to himself "Im glad my fathers name is sill remembered but how did they know im his son?"

Hank looks at them "what are you talking about? do i know you?" He looks them over "rocket's parents?"

 

Celestia gulps "we got to go get him!" she teleports to the start "ok where is he at? i dont want to lose him!"

 

Rose smiles "wow its so nice in here."

 

Cadence is sitting on her throne talking to shining armor as Aryios and rose walked in, Shining armor left the room. Cadence smiles "hello rose, and Aryios."
