Muffin?

BOOBLES! I had too much fun with this one.

 

It's a little too bright for my taste, but, I'm honestly not too sure how to fix it... I lowered some layer opacities and that helped some though. Any suggestions on how to fix it though?

 

I would have done lineart, but it kept on looking funny, so I scrapped that, and kept it as a sketch. Looks good though, keeps that extra... oomph of sketchy character, doesn't it?

You've got me impressed with the pose, that's for sure. I can't draw pegasus wings for the life of me, nor do successful poses. So nice job there

 

My only critique on this would be to clean up the lines a bit (they look a bit choppy), make her cutie mark more apparent/stand out a bit more, and reshape the bottom of the muffin...something about it is a bit off.

 

The bubbles look good, I like how they start fading a bit.

As for darkening it, (photoshop) I grab the Burn tool, make the brush large, turn the hardness all the way down, and scribble to my heart's content. Doesn't always work, but..darkens it.

 

Very good though. Derpy is awesome.

I love it!!!   Certainly don't think it looks too bright!  Excellent work on this, really impressive all around!  Thanks for doing my favorite muffin-loving mail mare justice!!!  Keep up the good work!

Oh, thank you ^.^ I tried to make her eyes more derpy, but it kept on looking funny >:I the position they're in is the onyl one that actually looked... anatomically acceptable :\

I think Derpy looks absolutely adorable. I really like the bubbles and it doesn't look to bright to me, it makes her look like she's stuck in Bubble SPAAAACE. The bottom of the muffin is a tad bit off but hey-I still want to eat it.

this is way to perfect for a background! i still say someone with some talent (not me cuz i suck) should do a derpy muffin adventures series. you know kinda like the squirrel in ice age but better because it would have derpy and the elusive muffin!

Merr, maybe. Most of the time I'm busy with other projects on my computer and irl, so it'd be hard for me to keep up with an adeventure thing like that. I may try over the summer though o3o

Thank you   Drawing's just one of those things you have to practice at. I havn't been drawing very long though, but artisticness is in the family, so that helps a bunch. And, lol! Poor Derpy, mistooken as a mouse ;-;

This reminds me of the squirrel from Ice Age, always trying to get the acorn. Pretty much, Derpy trying to get a muffin is too adorable. :3
