Hey, so, this is still very much in the planning stage. I've got some rules set up however.

 

Rule 1. No Alicorns.

Rule 2. No making your character have super duper amazing uncontrollable powers. This pretty much goes for any race that you choose to have your character be. They've got to be somewhat realistic here, just think how the mare 6 are in the show. 

Rule 3. No Mary Sues. No one is perfect in this role play. We all have flaws, make mistakes, etc.

Rule 4. Characters MUST either be a unicorn, Pegusus, Earth Pony and/or a non-pony character. Ages can be between 15-18, with the expection for teachers and staff members.

Rule 5. Romance is allowed but PLEASE keep it PG-13.

Rule 6. No highjacking the plot - no main characters really - this is set in a high school and everyone has their own little stories going on.

 

 

I'd like this to be a private rp and a regular one too.

 

Classes start at 7am and school ends at 2:15pm. Will try to have some kind of day system, like this is day one of school and so fourth. Not sure how well this will pan out but we shall see.

 

You can certainly have one than one character to role play if you wish, but no more than 2 per person. So, say, I could have a student and teacher pony character. Or two student characters, or two teacher characters, etc.

How about cliques, any specific groups one has to join?  If not what will the dynamic be for the student body? Is it a small school? Or is it a large school where everyone is a stranger?

No, there isn't any specfic groups that someone has to join. Dynamic for the student body, I'm not sure. As for the size of the school, somewhere inbetween. It's not that small of a school where everyone knows each other but it's not that big either. If that makes sense.

also how many people/ponies are going to be in this. i dont suggest too many, about 10 maybe? otherwise it may become hard to remember who everyone is. also will this be private or open? i suggest private, but whatever you want.

I don't want there to be a whole lot of people. It would definitely be hard to remember everyone if it got to be more than 10 or so. There are only four people so far (or five if you include myself). ^This. There is nothing so annoying, well, apart from godmoding and Mary Sues of course. Also, don't want people posting "Hay can I join?" -.- I remember one RP I was in and this person kept on bugging the GM to let them join, even after they'd been told no cuz the RP was over 1000 pages long. Some people have no sense.

Possibility 1: History teacher! A pretty serious guy, but he knows how to crack jokes and isn't too hard on the students.

Possibility 2: A calm, shy exchange student from Serbia, he's not a fighter but a lover.

 

(and yes, I'm making changes to my OC for this RP, since I can't have him be an airforce general in a non-war RP)
