Is it possible to not like this movie? Apparently yes, as I found out after 5 seconds of getting home from the cinema when it was released. Giant Robots fighting Giant Monsters, that's enough of an explanation required for this movie! And you KNEW that going in. In a movie like that, you don't even expect a good plot, dialogues or story. It's all about the action. But Pacific Rim did deliver all of those things. 

 

Because seriously, a giant robot used a cargo ship like a bat to attack a giant monster.

What do you guys like.dislike about the movie called "Pacific Rim" i for one thought it was amazing, the CGI, i the idea of giant robots fighting giant monsters is just an epic idea for me, but what do you think?

It was a pretty good movie.

 

Anyways, remember the two scientists. There was a British one, and an American one. The American one reminded me so much of America from Hetalia. I'm not sure. Maybe it was his voice?

 

Also, I find it awesome that you have Jaegers fighting giant monsters.

 

Yeah, I watched Attack on Titan not too long after seeing this movie. I was like "Oh my god!"

I'm actually a big fan of Giant Robots and Kaiju's so I can tell you that I really enjoyed that film.  Even though the movie was great, it won't beat Godzilla. That's for sure,

One thing I liked about the movie, from a science perspective, is how they portrayed the squabbling scientists. They captured the paradigm rivalry between physicists and biologists pretty well!

I loved the fact that even though the Jaegers were massive CGI robots, the animators still took the time to add in the tiny details, I really hope they make a second one, although i don't know what they'll do plot wise

What an old topic. I have to say, the movie was awesome, my inner childhood and love for kaiju is back for more!
