About Applejacks Parents

Ok i just need to put my thoughts on paper, or....pixels rather.
 
In Season 1 Episode 23 - Cutie Mark Chronicles, when Applejack is leaving sweet apple acres to live with her aunt and uncle Orange, only not-so-big Mac and Granny Smith are there to see her off, with no sign or mention of Applebloom. Later when she changes her mind to return home. Still no Applebloom. 
 
So,
If Applebloom wasn't there either times i think it's reasonably safe to say she wouldn't have been born yet. Even though we don't know the exact age of any of the Mane 6 or CMC i feel like the age gap between Applejack and Applebloom is to great for Applebloom to be alive while Applejack was still a young filly. But that's open to speculation, as is everything in this post. 
 
Which means, 
Applejacks parents, or at least her mother, would have had to have been alive to give birth to Applebloom during that period of time. So why weren't they, or she, seeing Applejack off when she left for Manehattan. Or why weren't they they around at all. To me the timeline doesn't seem to add up consistently. 
 
Anyways,
I hope there wasn't any details i overlooked that disproves everything i typed. I'm just really curious about Applejacks parents and i'm looking for everything i can (i do realize they are most likely deceased). I just need more than shooting stars. I WANT BACK STORY GOD DAMN IT   Anyone else agree?

yeah here's the thing about all that, they never really thought about it, I think this is the first generation where I've seen a pony with a father, in g1 some had mothers, but there never seemed to be any stallions around.

g3, I don't remember any, the newborn cuties actually did show the parents (Scootaloo had a mom) though that's the ET for Atari of MLP

It's something that needs to be addressed soon, it would be worth an episode solely based on this situation. Every kids show has that one episode where it's serious and deals with the death of a loved one.

 

I remember one episode in Rugrats where they focus on Chuckie and his mother (who is dead). Pretty serious at the end.

It was just starting when I was younger, though not all shows went there, oddly enough I remember when I was a young lad watching Thomas the Tank Engine, how many of the old trains commonly faced "death" eg being scrapped, they left one in a hill for who knows how long, a sentient "break van" (not sure what that is) was crushed

it was kinda dark

dragonball z had a lot of death, though no one stayed dead on that show

the original MLP had death (the villain died, he also threatened to decapitate spike)

My personal theory is that Applebloom's parents died very soon after she was born, and Applejack left soon after that. This allows a reasonable age gap, provides a more complex and nuanced explanation for why Applejack wanted to leave the house (but one that she presumably felt was too dark to include in a story that she was telling to 3 happy little fillies), and explains why Applebloom was not present; perhaps she was asleep when AJ left?

Well, since legitimately Applejack's parents died and are reincarnated as shooting stars. I think, Applebloom does not know about Applejack's parents. Pretty much, there is still a question floating around about this.
